We have tried others in the area and none compare to C&S. Our favorite is the Sesame Chicken and Lo Mein noodles. The won ton soup is very good, as well. MY REVIEW: My wife and I live in the Oak Forest area, and have eaten at C&S many times, and it has always been great. However, our meal tonight was so bad that I'll never eat there again. The Cashew Chicken didn't resemble any Cashew Chicken meal that I had ever had at a Chinese Resturaunt; it was tastless chicken with cashews, swimming around in a watery brown broth with a strange inclusion of green peppers. The dumplings, which are normally good, were soggy and tastless. The only thing they really did right was the sweet and sour shrimp- I guess it is very hard to mess up fried shrimp. My husband and I love Chinese food, but always end up going to the various restaurants at lunch since it's cheaper to get lunch specials. After being out shopping one night, I begged him to get Chinese for dinner. He mentioned C&S and I figured that since they were a walk up place, they would probably have cheap dinner prices. They had dinner specials that gave us more than enough food! We were the only people in the restaurant (it was around 8:15 on a Friday night), but the delivery guys were swamped! My entire family would order from there 2x a month but now, they get your orders wrong (several times we have requested chicken something and get beef) and they have burned our dumplings so often we don't even order them anymore for fear of food posioning. This use to be our favorite resturant, now we are wandering souls and would rather go all the way to Richmond off of 59, to get chinese food from C*hinese Cafe instead of this place.
