If you want to affect an Italian or French upbringing, this may not be the place for you, but if you want delicious healthy bread nothing beats this place. It is worth an extra trip and I highly recommend it. You can pre-order breads since they do specialty breads on particular days. Every single thing we've had has been wonderful! They are so friendly and my four-year-old LOVES to go to the "bread store". They give free samples (generous samples) and offer real butter to put on it. They offer low-carb versions of some of their breads (our fave is lo-carb cinnamon chip)....especially yummy! They just opened a store in Kingwood where we live so we now frequent that store instead of the Humble store like we used to...
