MY REVIEW: It is a good place to go to. The people are very friendly, one lady always jokes around with me when i go in. The dressing is good and the bake fish with tomato sauce is awesome. I really enjoy their okra and meatloaf. The gumbo lack in taste but overall the food rocks. I always recommend Pearls to anyone when i have the chance. The restaurant does have lots of food choices, but the atmosphere feels stifled to the point where it's best to just get the food to go. You may not feel very relaxed here. I had ribs which were nothing to get excited about, but am willing to try other dishes. The greens taste as if they come out of a can. I suggest they add some bacon,fatback, or smoked turkey. It may give it the flavor the greens and cabbage are missing. I ordered oxtails with rice and 2 sides.
