MY REVIEW: We went for the lunch buffet. Only 3 pizzas were on the buffet. The lettuce on the salad bar was starting to turn brown. And we had to wait about 10 minutes before they brought out any forks. We aske for parmesan cheese and were given the packets they use for delivered pizza. On top of that, the pizza crust was soggy, the pepperoni rolls did not contain cheese, and fresh pizza was never brought out while we were there. AND the place really needs a good cleaning. doesn't take much to get a towel and dust. NEVER AGAIN.

MY REVIEW: Last visit I was very disappointed- staff was rude. Ordered 9 pepproni rolls for $12 something and gave a $5 off (no min purchase) and they said sorry- they made mistake on coupon - it can only be used for $20 purchase. Told them I used one a couple weeks ago no problem (different cashier) but they still would not accept. The crazy thing is, on Tues the rolls are 1/2 price so they were still getting more if I used my coupon on Wed than if I had come the day before without a coupon. They were very rude .... I left and went to A*rbys .... Ill never go back to Double Daves with that kind of attitude....

MY REVIEW: My girlfriend and I just came from DoubleDaves. Once entered we weren't sure when to go. The buffet area is in the middle surrounded by wooden booths and tables. The cashier or ordering area is in the very back. We were greeted immediately with a smiling face and asked for in dining buffet. He asked if we would like to request a pizza to be made to our liking, but we declined for now. The buffet center didnt look like much but you can tell there are quality pizzas being dished out. The salad bar was mediocre but looked fresh. I usually have a salad at the end of my meal but I ate wayyy to much pizza. There were plenty of various pizzas being offered on the buffet. New and fresh pizzas were always churning out from the kitchen. While dining busboys are always asking if you would like to request a pizza to be made. We finally gave in and ordered our specialty pizza. Only took about 10 minutes for our pizza to be served. We were amazed by the quality of the pizzas and the super friendly staff there. It is pleasant to see a decently priced buffet with quality products and a heavy dose of a friendly workers.

MY REVIEW: This is by far the best pizza I've ever had in this city. I usually go for the lunch buffet and they have a huge selection of different pizzas, always coming out hot, fresh and loaded with goodies. The crust is just perfect, not too doughy and tough, and not microscopically thin, either. The salad bar is always kept refilled and the dessert pizzas are worth saving room for if you can. I just wish there was a location closer to our house!

MY REVIEW: I love Double Dave's pizza crust but this particular location is not getting it right. We placed a pickup order and the pizza crust was soft and wrinkly and the cheese and sausage were dry and chewy.

MY REVIEW: We went to Sunday lunch today with two kids. We tried lunch buffet. Kids up to 5 yo were free. The price was very reasonable, inside the restaurant was very clean. Food were fresh, selection were pretty good. You can order your own pizza as well. Staff were very friendly, too. We will definitely go back there again.

MY REVIEW: This is the best place for pizza, kids or no kids. The buffet is amazing. Fresh hot pizza from the ovens all the time and great variety. If it's not there ask, they will make it. Just enough games for the kids to play when they get filled up and you want to graze some more. Basic salad bar, but good and the desserts are wonderful.

MY REVIEW: I usually prefer thin crust pizza, but their thick crust is awfully good. Nice variety and they do a good job of keeping the noon buffet stocked with fresh pies. Not sure what it's called, but that thing they wrap shaved beef and mozerella in and cut into serving size strips is outta this world!

MY REVIEW: My family and I always enjoy this location! The pizza is delicious. I love the thick crust. We go during the buffet time. The service is always friendly and helpful. They always ask if there are any special request for the buffet. The kids always ask for something funky and they just make it. Not only make it but bring it to the table to have first divs on it! The prices are a little high but no higher than other specialty pizza restuarants in the katy, cinco area. The kids really enjoy the small gaming area. air hocky is their favorite! We definitly reccomend this place for the family and friend from out of town. Their dessert pizza's are delicious too

MY REVIEW: Looks like the west Pearland location has closed. Not too surprising, since there was apparently a change of ownership several months and the new owner had to stop selling beer while they tried to get a TACB license. Kind of a shame, this location used to be pretty decent and overall DD's has been a great company.

MY REVIEW: I agree with a previous review about the League City store----the pizza has improved from a couple years ago. They do a good job keeping the lunch buffet stocked. You pay before you eat, which is this case is good because they ask you what kinds of pizza you would like. Wish they still had the buffet in the evenings.

MY REVIEW: The staff was wonderful but the food was awful; it was either cold or tasted old and chewy. The place was somewhat clean but could have been cleaner and the tables are too crowded in making it hard to get from the buffet, drinks and back to your table. Esp if someone has brought every child in their entire family with them and then parked the huge baby carrier right in the middle of the isle. Ugh. I won't go back.

MY REVIEW: It's a nice little place. They have a few games for me to play between plates of food, or before I leave. It's fun to look at everything there. And they even have a pool table.
The pizza is really good, too. About two years ago, the pizza was nasty, but the last time I went, it was great, and they had fresh pizza coming out fairly fast. I don't know what these other people are talking about. Yes, the cashiers tend to be ditzy and bored, but I'm not going to judge a restaurant and it's food based on a few bored teens.
