MY REVIEW: I always try to make it a point to tip my driver. I'm too lazy to go out and get food, so they come to me. Even in the rain.

The delivery charge is not a "double tip". It is a charge to offset the cost of having a driver: gas and labor. Dominos Drivers get paid anywhere between $.70 to $1.30 per first run (if they have to deliver to two houses on a run, they only get $.45, if three or more houses on a run, they do not get reimbursed. That is the only compensation for gas they get besides tips and minimum wage. Most delivery areas range from a 6 to a 15 mile radius. Given the fact that delivering pizzas 20-30 hours a week can be detrimental to your gas mileage and the current gas price average of $3.50 or more per gallon, I would say that they are paying to deliver us pizzas.

Customers should know that if there is an added fee on a total when it comes to restaurants, it is usually for the company to offset the cost of the employee.

MY REVIEW: I used to order Dominos all the time, and got their Extravaganza and it was always wonderful, even cold as leftovers. The past couple of times I ordered, there is something different, but its just not the same. The crust seemed soggy, and it just lacked flavor. Service was a little slow, but not bad. I guess for great pizza, you just have to go in somewhere and not have it delivered.

MY REVIEW: I'll admit, I'm a pizza snob. I used to make trips to the northeast so I could eat Jersey and Manhattan pizza. When I ran a pizzeria up in College Station back in the 80s, Domino's was our competition. I used to froth at the mouth if someone even mentioned the name. I started using the Memorial Drive location on and off because they were convenient, still telling myself that was the only reason. Okay, it has been twenty-two years since I wore a red apron and spun out dough, but old prejudices died hard. It took a while for me to realize that Domino's puts out a consistent product, they are timely, they've never messed up and order, and they taste pretty good too! While they aren't the Mom and Pop pizzeria of my youth, or even of my college years, I've grown to like them. I'm very happy with the service I've gotten from the store in the neighborhood, and will continue to patronize it. I enjoyed the Brooklyn style pizza as well... I actually could fold the crust.

One other big plus in their favor, Domino's doesn't tack on a "delivery fee" like certain other pizzerias. That fee made me stop frequenting P*pa J*hn's and P*zza H*t because their drivers seem to expect a tip on top of the delivery charge. I'm all for tipping, and I tip well (having worked every facet of this industry) but I will not abide this double-tip ripoff. Good for Domino's.

MY REVIEW: They were slow on everything. We came toget ours from the one on Elderodo and they said someone else by the name of our name and picked it up. Usual good on deal and cleanliness. I still go, just usual a lot better than ths.

MY REVIEW: 6741 Airline Dr

This location needs some help. In the last several months, we have had communication issues (the person on the phone speaks little or no English), timely delivery issues, pizzas delivered with sauce when no sauce was specified (allergy problems), and a generally apathetic staff.

If this is true of all Domino's locations, I'm sorry for the company. I like their pizza, and would like to continue to enjoy it, but not at the cost of my health, time and stress levels.

MY REVIEW: Store Location: Louetta & 249 by the HEB and Target. Was put on hold for over 3 minutes. Hung up and called back, then was put on hold for another 2 minutes. Ordered a large thin crust Pizza w/everything except pork delivery. Was told 40 minutes for delivery....ok...Pizza arrived 55 mins later. Opened the box and found large slices of ham all over it. Called back and they put me on hold again, nearly 3 mins. Hung up and called back and they hung up on me. Called back again and they hung up on me (they have Caller ID)and ordered the same pizza and explicitly asked for no sausage, no ham, no anything that comes from a hog. Drove up there with the wrong pizza and slid it on the counter. The girl looked at me, looked at the pizza and turned around and walked off to the back. The other girl making the pizzas looked at me and went back to what she was doing. I stood there for 5 mins. Finally, I was asked if I needed help. I politely let them know I was returning a pizza because it was the wrong one and I placed another order which was supposed to be ready. They switched the pizzas without an apology.

One hour and 40 minutes later, I was eating a very mediocre pizza.

MY REVIEW: store at 7816 louetta: "everything" pizza had only three toppings. "crispy" thin crust was virtually uncooked with the consistency of a soft tortilla. disappointed and threw away card offering 19 additional 2 for the price of 1 repeat visits.
