MY REVIEW: I ordered their beef "fajita" nachos. Price is low, but meat was cheap(like rubber). I ended up spitting most of it out beacuse i could not chew it. The salsa for the chips is sometimes too watery. Restrooms were nasty. There were atleast a couple of dozen mosquitos hovering over the toilet.

MY REVIEW: This restaurant may lack in presentation, but it is INCREDIBLE food at an excellent price. The staff is friendly and the surroundings are quiet and comfortable.
They have great salsas, which come in squirt bottles so you choose how much you want, and tasty chips. Try the marinated meats for a real treat.
Brenda's is so good and gives you such great portions that you'll eat so much that when you sit down you go BOOM!

MY REVIEW: Nice laid back atmosphere, friendly staff, and most importantly DELICIOUS food! The "fajita de res in salsa verde" is one of the best things I've ever eaten, and you certainly can't beat the price. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant, I've yet to taste a single thing that I don't like there.

MY REVIEW: With all due respect to the other posters above....
This restaurant has three main advantages when compared to many: around the clock service, fast service and an inexpensive menu. Now, consider the three main points, and also note the name of this restaurant, it should become clear that this place is not going to provide you with a earth shattering experience.
When we walked into the restaurant, we noticed a relatively clean interior, minus the not so clean exterior. It reminded me of a truck stop dinner. Now, a word of warning, avoid the salsas!!! When the salsa comes out in 'squirtable' used bottles, you know quality will not be found. Avoid it and stick with the menu items.
The tacos al carbon tasted ok; if you can ignore the all to thin selections of meat surrounded by the rice, beans, and pico. The carne guisada was ok, the meat was good, with an nice assortment of vegetables. I liked the fact you can order flour or corn tortillas. Overall the flavor was ok, it is on expectation with the price you pay.
Overall, this beats say ta*co be*ll. Being it will be about the same price, this beats taco bell, and is open 24 hours. If you have a desperate need for Mexican at say 3 AM, this place works. If it is at 7:00 PM, you have many better choices.

MY REVIEW: If you love a simple atmosphere but great food, this is the place to visit. Breakfast, lunch or dinner you will find something you like. Try the pastor tacos or tacos al carbon. A must for you to try is the avacado salsa but you will have to request it. The staff is freindly!

MY REVIEW: I truly like going to Brenda's, but I really have to go hungry! The servers are realy nice. I go there for lunch when I'm starving and eventhough they serve BIG portions they serve it fast and most importantly it's delicious. It seems like they put a whole block of cheese in their quesadillas, the cheese oozes out of the flour tortillas yum!...man I'm going there right now.
