Salty and not much flavor! My first try and probably my last! If I want pizza, will likely stick with italian sausage topping pizza mia from pizza hut; much more flavorful and can get 3 for $12 with on line ordering. At any rate, I heard about this pizza place from a co-worker, where it has the Tues. special of 2 for the price of 1, and received positive reviews from customers...but not lately for this year so far. However, I decided to try the supreme specialty; 2 for $18. The toppings were reasonable...not plentiful as reviewed by some previous customers, but the crust was thin, unflavorful and a bit greasy. The new crust and flavor, similar to the previous customer's comment, won't likely work for them. I didn't get a chance to try their old crust, so I'm not sure how the old was much different, either better or worse than the current one. And the pepperoni rolls are fantastic...it's the bread. These "brothers" know food! The greens in the salads are cold and crisp (and you don't find that at most fine dining establishments)....it's a little think I look for when I order a salad that kinda "sets the tone" for the whole dining experience...if they pay attention to their salad greens, then their food is generally awesome...and it holds true here. Great food, very nice staff even though most are just area high school kids...but you can tell that the kids love where they work....it's fun. They have these things called "pizza sandwiches" which basically consists of the same bread they use for their pizza (which is home-made so it's fantastic!) with yummy seasonings and then whatever meat and condiments you like. I am also in love with their tomato basil soup (which is also made from scratch), it's delicious. They have the very BEST pepperoni rolls I've ever tasted (again, because the bread is sooo good)-no lie!! And of course, their pizza is good, but it is all the other yummy entrees that make this place a MUST!! I live out of town and this is the first place I stop when I come back to Katy-seriously! They now have a full restaurant to sit down, enjoy an affordable great causal meal while watching your favorite game, but this isnt a dirty old sports bar trying to serve food. It is very clean and has nice atmosphere while being very kid friendly. The delivery pizza is still availble but try stopping in. Ask for Mark or Kevin, they are the 2 owners "The Bolli Bros"(just looking at these guys you can tell they know good food) they will personally make sure you have a great experience. 5-Stars!!! I have to say that I was not dissapointed. They had just opened a sit down area and we were the only ones there. My wife ordered a pepperoni, onion, jalapeno and mushroom pizza and I had an order of barbecue and hot wings. The wings were great. They were large and tasty but the pizza was better. Biting into it, I could taste the distinctive and flavorful sauce. Most pizzas have their sauces drowned out by the toppings, but not here. The sauce was what stood out with the toppings adding to the experience. The crust was not doughy and sticky in the center. It was crispy and easy to bite through. This is probably my best pizza experience in Houston.
