Their "Texas Size Breakfast Burritos" (with optional homemade salsa) are the BEST! And while I prefer the sandwiches to the hot lunch line most days, their homestyle beans (butter beans, navy beans, black-eyed peas--or whatever) are down-home delicious! MY REVIEW: My daughter and I had a few bad lunches here, but decided to give it another try. Everyone has a bad day now and then. We went through the steam table line and picked what looked really good. Got our drinks and some bread and seated ourselves. The table area seemed a little sticky and unclean. We again found the food to be cold and somewhat tasteless. Sad..we had hoped to find a nice place with home cooking, but this is not it. Don't waste your time. The food wasn't very good the first time, but we wanted to give it a second chance. We went back yesterday and tried a different meal. The meatballs were tasteless, the dessert seemed undercooked. But, the main reason we will not return is that on both occasions the meat dish and ALL the sides were stone COLD. We left very disapointed. We had hoped we had found a good restaurant for home cooking. COLD food is just tasteless! We left our punch cards and declared to never return.
