MY REVIEW: Mom's breakfasts are awesome! Their "Texas Size Breakfast Burritos" (with optional homemade salsa) are the BEST! And while I prefer the sandwiches to the hot lunch line most days, their homestyle beans (butter beans, navy beans, black-eyed peas--or whatever) are down-home delicious! The owners and staff are always friendly and helpful. I recommend Mom's to everyone I know! =)

MY REVIEW: My daughter and I had a few bad lunches here, but decided to give it another try. Everyone has a bad day now and then. We went through the steam table line and picked what looked really good. Got our drinks and some bread and seated ourselves. The table area seemed a little sticky and unclean. We again found the food to be cold and somewhat tasteless. Sad..we had hoped to find a nice place with home cooking, but this is not it. Don't waste your time.

MY REVIEW: Great food. Well priced. Everyone is friendly. Something for everyone. Punch card is great for people who go many times a month. Just double check your togo-order.

MY REVIEW: You can't beat Mom's Meatloaf or the Pork with onions & peppers is unbeatable! I think Ginger went to some other " Mom's ". Also, the Chef's Salad is truly a dying item, but not at Mom's. It's the best in the city. I'm having it today ! Friendly, attentive staff top off some of the best home-cooked meals in Houston.

MY REVIEW: My daughter and I have tried this restaurant several times. The food wasn't very good the first time, but we wanted to give it a second chance. We went back yesterday and tried a different meal. The meatballs were tasteless, the dessert seemed undercooked. But, the main reason we will not return is that on both occasions the meat dish and ALL the sides were stone COLD. We left very disapointed. We had hoped we had found a good restaurant for home cooking. COLD food is just tasteless! We left our punch cards and declared to never return.

MY REVIEW: You can load up on calories with great home-cooking, or ask them to make you a Chef's Salad....... it's one of the last places around that really loads the salad up with meats, cheese, boiled egg and lots of everything ! Anything you get at Mom's is so good..... and they are the friendliest folks around. They definitely aim to please !

MY REVIEW: This place isn't fancy but it has GREAT food and better prices! Lunch buffet changes everyday with all sorts of home cooked style dishes. They also serve breakfast and a wide variety of sandwiches. And, Mom's World Famous Meatloaf is always available for lunch. You won't leave Mom's hungry!
