Very attentive staff and a good variety on the menu. The food is good and always hot. My date bet me that I couldn't finish a Ken & Sean Burger -- I couldn't help myself--it was a fantastic guilty pleasure! MY REVIEW: The ambiance is still the same familiar diner with familiar, friendly faces. Two new chefs have arrived, and a brand new menu is very appealing to the eye. Interestingly enough, when the Chinese dishes were served today, they looked as lovely as they do in the pictures, maybe even better! Due to our family's delayed immune reactions to a number of food allergens (including the usual ones that celiacs have to deal with, we have a difficult time finding restaurants that can accommodate our needs, but we have found Alice's to be very attentive to our needs, and the new chefs are continuing in that tradition. If you have a special need such as this, request a chef come talk to you, and unless it's the peak meal time, they will usually be able to come to your table to get the exact details and work with you on what to order and how to fix it, and do it in a kind and knowledgible manor. These guys apparently cut up lots of their own seasonings, so that makes it possible for them to add lots of flavor without the risk of processed seasonings which might contain fillers to which we are allergic. I heard LOTS of compliments from other customers this evening, so guess we weren't the only ones who enjoyed it.
