MY REVIEW: I was there 8/21/11 ,the food was ok,some of it seemed to be there for a little while.the dumplings were good and so was the pepper steak! The sushi was not too bad either,i think I will give it another try soon.

MY REVIEW: IT'S BACK! Stopped by Grand Buffet on Spencer yesterday. Ever since Ike, I've gone by when I'm in Pasadena and it has been a long wait! They were badly hit and looks like they've had rough time re-building.
Everything is like it used to be; the sushi chefs are cranking out rolls, the shrimp are fresh, just a good global buffet. Cold spring rolls could use some cilantro, though. I was there for lunch and the big dining room waqs filling up by 12. A definite Pasadena star!

MY REVIEW: The last reviewer must have missed the cold shrimp, the fried shrimp, the spicy shrimp, the fried fish, the grilled fish, the dim sun (sp?), the egg rolls and spring rolls, the sushi, etc. It is not all chicken. But, it is all delicious. I love being able to pick and choose. The wait staff is very attentive, picking up plates as you finish, refilling tea when it is only half "empty." And, there is a good selection of "pastries" for dessert.

MY REVIEW: This buffet has about twenty varieties of chicken based dishes. No real, beef, pork, or seafood dishes worth eating. I don't recommend this one unless you really like chicken.

MY REVIEW: They have a wide variety of food - including foods that my 8- and 10-year-old boys like. In fact, this is their favorite restaurant! They even have macaroni and cheese. The food is consistently good. Lots of variety. Excellent service.

MY REVIEW: We have been intending to eat here for a while and finally remembered to give it a try. It had been highly recommended by others and now I know why! The food was EXCELLENT and varied. There were things I had not seen on a Chinese buffet before like fried calamari, roast beef, chicken tenders, etc. The service was 5 star-- as soon as a tea glass neared empty there was someone at the table to fill it, and as soon as one of us moved a plate to the side to indicate we were done with it, someone was there to remove it. The food was fresh and tasty, and get this.... the crab puffs had VISIBLE pieces of crab in them. (Most likely fake, but still...) I thought the salad bar could have used a little work, but hey, I'm here for the other food anyway. Overall a good experience and it won't be our last visit.

MY REVIEW: I love this place! they have nice soups and warm food. They have friendly service and it is quick! There's usually not a long line to wait, and the price is worth the quality of the food!

MY REVIEW: I love this place. I can take my two kids and they enjoy it. Their sushi is pretty fresh and pleasing to the eye considering the fact that it is a buffet. They NEVER have a problem making me a couple of things that I really like. Their dinner selection is better than their lunch. Their oysters are fresh and great tasting (just salty enough...I'm picky). The tuna is a bit softer than other places, but I don't eat much of that anyway....their rolls (especially the futomaki). I eat here about once a week. Yum :)

MY REVIEW: Huge variety of chinese food, sushi and a small assortment of American food (pizza, fries). Reasonable price for the selection. Fresh food considering it's on a buffet.
Pricing is a couple more dollars than most but the food variety makes up for it. Drinks are NOT included in the buffet price.
We plan on going again this month.
