MY REVIEW: Fantastic BBQ period. Had the chicken, Sliced Beef, Ribs and Sasauge, all were great. Very good sause, not too sweet, just right. Especially the sausage. Sides have always been good. Prompt service.

Worth the trip.

MY REVIEW: 529 BBQ catered a dinner that I attended, and the food was fabulous - not to mention the staff that was serving.

Later that month, I stopped by and picked up a to-go order, for my husband and I. It was horrible. There were small bones in the brisket - I have NEVER encountered bones in ANY brisket - that was a MAJOR turn-off. And of course I blame myself for not checking my order, but they left off the sausage on my four-meat plate, and I didn't get my cole slaw, either.

There is much better BBQ out there - I won't be going back here.

MY REVIEW: everything is great there and the staff is great and the guy waiter is real polite and the food is great and i know that if you get delievery there might be a fee or just tip the guy and i know they might be late or forget things but 90% of the time that i go i have a great time and the food is great. and all i know from being there is that the day time waiter is only there to help you and make your dinning a thing that you will remember and will go back for, as well and mostly the food,. time and time agien. i know that they are mixing up things and they serve pork twice a week ham and pulled pork. Oh yeah the thursday turkey plate is great.

MY REVIEW: When I first started going there everything was fantastic. This was when they first opened. My husband has a place of business and feeds about 20-30 people every night. Once a week I was picking up bbq from 529. Then around 3/2004 the ribs were tough they never had my order on time or they wouldn't have all of it and would substitute something else. I finally gave up in june and get my bbq from somewhere else. I don't know if they changed cooks or what, but they sure went down hill. Food use to be GREAT.

MY REVIEW: Strong points, definetly the food! All of it not just some of it. The ribs are fantastic especially the Babybacks! Try the fried jalepenos, the briskett, the pork and even the chicken. We started going there after work just for a "few" and wound up making it a Friday "thing". I liked it so much, I started DJ'ing on Fridays on the patio. It's turned into a fun thing where the food was great and the beer is always ice cold. The staff is always friendly and so is management. Weak point, it's away from everything, but believe me, it won't be long before it's the best known restaraunt in this area. Ambiance, hey when I'm playing, it only gets better. You owe it to yourself to try it once!

MY REVIEW: I think I will give 529 a long break from seeing my face. Me and the gang from work ordered "take out" from there on friday, and were way less than impressed.

They forgot one order of fries, one bag of chips and a soda from the 2 sandwhich orders, guess I should say they remembered only the sandwhiches.

They placed the toppings on the potato instead of on the side as ordered. In my opinion, sour cream is the most disgusting thing you can do to something that was previously edible. It was a good thing they were a bit tight on the toppings because I didn't feel like scooping tons of white crap off my potato. After the removal of the puss, I was left with only cheese and chunks of meat.

No-one got even a drop of B-B-Q sauce or catsup, we had to use the local store brands from the fridge (yea, that ruined things) I know I can do better at home because I consistently do.

As we finished eating, everyone commented on the decline in quality and we all agreed not to waste our time or money on this place again.

If you call your order in ahead of time, you will be given the option of delivery, "We don't charge a delivery fee, but you have to tip the driver".

Hmm, I will leave this one alone.

I don't know what has happened to this great little bbq place.

MY REVIEW: Great flavor, Slow smoked. The owner/Manager gets there at 5:00 am to make the sauce and fire up the mesquite fire.

Drawbacks: only serve pork once a week, chicken is more expensive than beef if it is running in short supply. $1.00 extra for a chicken as opposed to beef on your sandwhich.

MY REVIEW: go there for the BBQ! you have to try the potatoe salad. Friday is the only day you can't do BBQ - one word PrimeRib. stuffed potaotes will let you sleep thew afternon away. Blue mondays with cheap beer / great blues on the deck help ease into week.
