MY REVIEW: They REALLY need to start making the spring rolls fresh. They taste like they have been sitting all day. They also are way over cooking the vietnamese egg rolls.

MY REVIEW: Being Vietnamese myself, I am always a little bit more critical when it comes to Vietnamese food and restaurants. Wasn't at all impressed with the old management, but since they changed the menu and cooking staffs, I find myself eating here more often than not. I have tried many dishes from the the new chef. The deep fried rabbit, the venison carpaccio, the grilled sauté wild boar...all delicious and very flavorful. Even their simple rice plates and vermicelli bowls are very well-portioned and tasty. The menu is extensive and it'll take some time to go through all their dishes.

Haven't been disappointed with the food YET, but the wait staffs need to be more professional and knowledgeable of their menu. Also, the prices are a little bit high compare to most Vietnamese places. Nevertheless, Thanh Phuong will be my go-to-place for Vietnamese food when I don't feel like cooking. Definitely give this place a try!

MY REVIEW: Well we gave it a few months & a few visits. We were surprised when we walked in & our favorite waiter was back. They have a new menu with bunches of new items. The old Hot & Sour soup was my wife's favorite & it's not quit the same. Tried some new items on the menu & were very surprised. Guess we will give it a few more chances. It's very good to see they have kept most of the old waitstaff - they are fantastic (especially with the grandkids).

MY REVIEW: What a shock - NEW OWNERS!! Things are not the same. Food was cold & waitresses kept bringing food to the wrong table. I was told to expect a new chef & a new menu - went there for the old chef & the old menu.

MY REVIEW: Looked it up on B4-U-Eat and went first time today.

Clean and open on Sunday. Wife & I each had the Spring Roll and P1 Noodle Soup. Both agreed that we would be back. Food was well prepared, generous portion, hot and very good, with nice, friendly service.

MY REVIEW: Food is great, price is reasonable and service was amazing! I recommend the Vietnamese egg rolls and they have the best beef spring rolls. Along of serving great Viet/Chinese food they also offer a wide variety of vegetarian dishes. Can't wait to be back.

MY REVIEW: The food here is always good. I am always greeted with a smile. And once you become a "regular" they always remember what I like to eat. The managers are so friendly. It's a mom and pop place. I definitely have to say this is your veit/chinese mom pop kinda cooking. When they closed for a few weeks for maintenance last year my friends and I really didn't know what we were missing. I mean there are not many choices when it comes to good fresh affordable cuisine in Pearland. I simply think this is a place you should give a chance. Especially if you live in or around pearland.

MY REVIEW: Amazing place, great food and the people are so friendly. Have been ordering take out for years and they have never got an order wrong!!!!! Everything's good can't just recommend one thing, but would say the Vietnamese fried eggroll's are to die for....

MY REVIEW: Thanh Phuong and it's neighbor, C*elaya's, are two of the best places to eat in Pearland considering price, variety, and friendly atmosphere. I especially like the Bun Thit Nuong + Cha Gio (other reviewers have as well). This is one of my family's regular haunts.

MY REVIEW: This place is great! The people are friendly. The food isn't expensive. I don't know what you all are talking about! And the com bo luc luc YEs, it IS OK. But the spring rolls here are AWSOME. ORANGE SHRIMP, YUM, PECAN SHRIMP YUM YUM!! ORANGE CHICKEN wow!!! Signapore noodles very good. Anything with curry good! The vietnamese grilled stuff is always consistent and tasty! The com bo luc lac is only 7 dollars and somthing cents. It's a sizeable plate.

MY REVIEW: We are new to the Pearland area and are in the midst of building our house in Shadow Creek Ranch. We wanted to try and find a good Vietnamese resturant near our new house so that we may avoid going to Bellaire. Unfortunately, this resturant was not it. The food was not very authentic and very over priced. We had pan fried thick white noodles with beef and chinese brocolli and a beef dish called Bo Luc Lac. The noodles were okay but the Bo Luc Lac was absolutely inedible. The beef was over tenderized and mushy and the sauce (keep in mind that traditional Bo Luc Lac has no sauce)made everything taste like liver. Keep in mind that this dish was also $10.00+ and the portion was very small. We had one bite each of the Bo Luc Lac and pushed it to the side. Do not order this dish if you go there. Perhaps the other items may be more appetizing but we will not be back. The waitress there was nice but when asked if certain dishes were good, she said she had no idea.

MY REVIEW: I guess that I am not making as much money as everyone else doing a review. I love the food, but at the same time I think that they are a bit pricey. However I have a very large family to feed (8 of us) so maybe everywhere is expensive to me. The egg rolls are really good, but you have to eat them there at the restaurant. If you get your order to go, they have a tendency to get chewey rather quickly. I usually get the curried shrimp and it is delicious. My wife loves their shrimp foo yung. All in all it is a great place to eat.

MY REVIEW: friendly atmosphere, smiles right when you enter the door...love the entire vietnamese menu especially the vietnamese egg rolls and hot and sour soup. the cold summer rolls can be made with charbroilled chicken or beef instead of the shrimp... love the beef ones!

MY REVIEW: Strong points: GREAT food for a GREAT price. I love the orange chicken and my wife loves com bo luc lac. But we also like all those veitnames entrees! We don't like to drive after work and Thanh Phoung (Also nicknamed "TP" by the locals) is close to home. So we barely ever go to KIM SON anymore.

THere are a few asian restaurants around pearland. The staff does make you feel like family. I love to chat with them. They are so good at remembering what I like to eat! We live in Green Tea and all our friends go here on sundays. If you haven't eaten here, you haven't lived!! They also serve cheesecake and this great banna dessert! YUM!
