MY REVIEW: Authentic and delicious! Will definetly go back- every dish fullfilled or exceeded our expectations. The moussaka is a must.... Our waitress, Rebecca, made the experience even more pleasurable with her reccomendations, from drinks to traditional touches to eat dish. Definetly a must go to restaurant!

MY REVIEW: I has been at least 10 years since we have been to this restaurant since we have moved out of the area, but it was always our favorite before.

Our waitress yesterday, Rebecca, was so friendly and accomodating!!

The food was just as amazing as ever. Huge portions! Words cannot describe how wonderful this place is. This is by far the best Greek Restaurant that we have dined at in the United States.

MY REVIEW: For our 45th Anniversary, our daughters and their husbands treated us to dinner at Alexander's. I didn't know that we've ever experienced a more delightful evening. Rebecca, our waitress, couldn't have been sweeter or more attentive to our every need. Her dining and drink recommendations were perfect. The food, from the appetizers to the main course and dessert, was wonderful.

To top it all off, on Friday & Saturday nights there's a terrific band and a lovely, talented dancer. At the height of the evenng patrons joined in the festivities on the dance floor The atmosphere was infectious. As a special treat my wife and I were called to the dance floor and the band played the Anniversary Waltz for us. Our evening began at 7:00 and it was well past 11:00 before we left. An enjoyable and memorable evening to say the least. A real gem!

MY REVIEW: Just happened to go because of something going on near the Galleria. We will go back as often as possible. Our waitress, Rebecca, is from Greece and was absolutely fantastic! I have never been to ANY restaurant where everything was above my expectations, but never have I heard my wife proclaim "There is not one thing that is not delicious! Everything is wonderful!" We loved the three- man Greek band and the bellydancer but the best part of the entertainment was the fellow diners dancing, singing and having fun along with the entertainers! Far and away our new most favorite place.

MY REVIEW: WOW...what a great place. live music and belly dancing on saturday evening, excellent wine selection, and authentic food served by folks who make you feel like family before you leave. My wife and i stayed across the street and walked to this restaurant, and we were surprised to fins a jewel like this tucked away on a side street in anon-descript like row of stores and shops. We will be back......

MY REVIEW: We went on Saturday afternoon after graduations around 2:00 pm. The restaurant had about 6 tables filled....didn't look too busy, but the service was slow except for filling the water/iced tea glasses. My m-i-l and I split the Royal Feast which was a sampler of pastichio, mousaka, dolmathes (I didn't like these), keftethes, spanakopita, gyro meat, tyropita, and oven-roasted lemon oregano potatoes. The portions were large. We ate as much as we wanted of the sampler platter and there was plenty for my teen-age son and husband to have the remaining selections. I was disappointed that they had only warm sesame bread and no pita or flat bread. I would go again.

MY REVIEW: I took a group of 20 seniors for a trip to the restaurant. I called a week ahead and Everything was set up for us when we arrived. The food was wonderful. Most of us had the Kings Feast but some had the other choices. My group said the food was very good. We went on Friday night and enjoyed the live music and belly dancer. Weak points: we came on a bus and there was no room to park, our driver parked at Macey's. Restraunt did not want to split checks.. but finally did. If I were in the area again I would visit the restraunant.... Opa

MY REVIEW: We found this restaurant on our favorite restaurant gift certficate site. We have been to many similar restaurants in town and love this type of food.

LOCATION: It's in a great location just behind the Galleria Mall on Sage.

ATMOSPHERE: Not sure if I could call this "quaint". Maybe it's a little more upscale Greek. Great decor. Comfortable tables, well lit, nice music in the background.

SERVICE: The waiter was awesome. Very informative about the menu. The only complaint is we had to ask to have our water glasses refilled.

FOOD: My gosh, what great food and huge portions! The complimentary bread was ok. It was served with an olive oil/feta cheese dip. I would have prefered pita bread. Unlike similar restaurants, a soup or salad comes with your entree. I loved the house salad. My wife and I both noticed how fresh and crunchy the vegetables were. She ordered pastichio and really enjoyed it. She was able to bring a nice portion home for lunch the following day. It came with a mountain of rice pilaf. I had the royal feast which was a sampler of pastichio (great combination of pasta and meat), mousaka (tasty eggplant), doulmathes (don't like these at any restaurant), keftethes, spanakopita, gyro, tyropita, and oven-roasted lemon oregano potatoes. Everything was great!

OVERALL: My only complaint is the prices are a little higher than similar restaurants. However, when you add in the atmosphere, superb food and large portions (along with our gift certificate discount) this had great value for the price.

MY REVIEW: From the moment you walk in, the experience begins from the hostess to the waiters.

The service was on point, the atmosphere and the food was wonderful! This is a fun place to go on a Saturday night! They have live music that gets many up to dance and that just adds to the overall fun vibe of this place!

All in all I put my Greek stamp of approval on Alexander the Great. It absolutely satisfies my craving for Greek food and represents Greek dining well.

I would recommend this restaurant to any of my friends and family. My friends and I had a great time and will definitely be back!

MY REVIEW: Strong Points: good location, clean and beautiful decor.

Weak Points: We had to wait almost 30 minutes for our food.

When I asked the waiter if I could order a hot beverage (either coffee or tea) he said no. "I'll bring you booze. That will make you hot." Seriously?

The food was good. My boyfriend was pleased with his meal of chicken souvlaki. My gyro sandwich was adequate and the fries were ok.

I would like to try going back at night and see if the experience is better than at lunch time.

MY REVIEW: Great place - there is practically no parking, but the free valet service takes care of it.

We made a reservation for 2 earlier in the afternoon and had a table waiting for us right in front of the band on Friday night! The belly dancer was beautiful and did some things that I have never before witnessed. She was amazing and obviously had years of experience. Even though she was in her 50's (I'm guessing?), she had a body to die for. It was fun watching her.

The food was excellent, everything we hoped it would be.

Per previous reviews, I asked for Christos, but he no longer works there. Our waiter was not good AT ALL. I believe that they are trying to be loyal to Greeks and make sure that all their staff has the background, which is very understandable. This guy seemed like he had no waiting experience whatsoever though, or if so very little. He tried his hardest though. Hopefully he will get better over time.

I will definitely visit AtG again!

MY REVIEW: Even though they were getting ready for a large private party later in the evening we did not feel rushed. The best calamari we have ever had. I had the royal platter to get a taste of many traditional dishes and they were all wonderful. The six of us had a wide variety of dishes and everyone was pleased. We can't wait to go back on a night with the belly dancing.
