MY REVIEW: Awesome food and staff, however the "usual crowd" was less than impressive...very rude, and inconsiderate people apparently is the norm at this place. I'll definitely go back at a time when the "regulars" aren't holding reign as the food is more than exceptional. Kudos to the staff for having to put up with a bunch of jackasses!

MY REVIEW: This place is awesome - great atmosphere, fast service, and consistently good food. Some very good cajun items on the menu, although I think the gumbo at F*loyd's down the road is still the best in Houston. But believe it or not, the best item on the menu here isn't even cajun; it's the GREEK SALAD. Yes, you heard it right. It's the best greek salad I've had here, and it outrivals N*iko N*iko's, and Y*ia Y*ia Mary's. It's huge, with lots of feta, peperoncini, kalamata olives, capers (most places don't put these on), cucumbers, and more. And they don't skimp on the dressing like most places, either. So if you're in the mood for a salad, skip those other greek restaurants and try Boudreaux's - you won't be disappointed.

MY REVIEW: I had seen the place driving by and thought it'd be great for a next date. So I went this past weekend and it was awesome. Friendly atmosphere - great food and guys it even has televesion for you sport junkies!! This place gets a "10" from me and is just the right place to eat when you want something different and from the norm or may even be a great place to meet new people. Appeared to be a great hang out spot on the weekends. I definately will be making another trip.

MY REVIEW: I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! The hurricane drink is partially my main reason for the frequent visit (Happy Hour). The food is fantastic. I've eaten almost everything on their menu and have enjoyed all. The cook is very amicable about special requests. I prefer my food fried soft and it's perfect when requested. The staff and atmosphere is nice. I recommend this restaurant and location to anyone who really wants CAJUN seafood!

MY REVIEW: I was introduced to this place by a co-worker and now I'm addicted! The FRIED PICKLES are to die for! The PECAN CRUSTED CHICKEN SALAD is enough for two. The shrimp (cooked any way) is always fresh. I love that you can create your own meal. It is always very busy at lunch (we once had to wait for a table!) and dinner is also busy but the line moves quickly. I've called in orders on my way home and it's so easy to just drop by and pick up dinner for everyone! This place gets an A+ for freshness and friendliness! The only "minus" is that it can get quite loud in there! But hey, it's a Cajun joint - gotta love the fun!

MY REVIEW: Great seafood, especially catfish and shrimp. Always cooked fresh and delivered hot. And you get a lot for the money. I like the self-service drinks and refills.
Lunch times are crowded but that's a sign of a good place to eat. The line to order moves along at a good clip.
Restaurant is clean and so are the restrooms.

MY REVIEW: I have dined at the Willowbrook location and the Galleria location. I have NEVER had a bad experience. I have eaten there and gotten takeout. The portions are a good size...not too much, not too little. The seafood is always fresh, doesn't taste like its been frozen. Just today I placed a takeout order of full fried shrimp w/dirty rice, full fried oysters w/dirty rice, pecan crusted chicken salad, shrimp creole, cajun mashed potatoes and fried pickles...just under $50. Most dishes re-heat well, which is why I bought so much...I've got a couple days worth of food!
I highly recommend the fried pickles...if you like a lot of heat (the dressing is particularly spicy). I was raised in Louisiana and have eaten a whole lot of cajun food in my life...this is by far the best I've found in Houston. Boudreaux's continues to get my $$ at least once a week....

MY REVIEW: Went with friends, first time for the wife and I. Long line upon arrival but quick service. Ordered the boudin and shrimp and it was delicious. Wife had the salad, fresh and enough to serve two, chicken fried steak was excellent. Nice interior deco. Will definitely mark this joint as a place to revisit.

MY REVIEW: I'm not surprised at all the good reviews this restaurant has gotten. I always get their crawfish etouffee, the best in houston, and much better than the crawfish etouffee from p*appadaux's. Their cajun combos are excellent because you get to customize with your choice of size, kind of meat (shrimp, catfish, oyster, alligator etc) and the way you want it cooked (fried, grilled, blackened). Portions are very good, and the seasonings they use complement the dishes well.
The atmosphere is very casual, with serve-yourself drinks. You order at the counter and then get your food when they call your number, so a tip is not necessary. This is a good place to watch the game or eat out with the family. The clientele here is very diverse here, which i also like.
I cannot think of anything bad to say except that it can get crowded. tonight (Friday night) the line for ordering stretched to the door and every booth was full, so we ate somewhere else instead.
overall, A+!

MY REVIEW: The taco platter comes with dirty rice and black beans; tacos can be made with choices of alligator, shrimp, oyster, catfish, etc. Plenty of good dirty rice and beans came with two very tasty fried catfish fillet filled soft tacos. The jambalaya is basic and is similar to Z*t*r*ins with some extra onion, yet very tasty. Shrimp Etoufee on white rice is very good with numerous delicious shrimp and spiced just right. A half order of Boudin is one sizable full link and comes with dirty rice. Although I think it could have stayed on the grill a little longer the link is heavenly. The portions for each of our orders were very good for very reasonable prices. Weekends are very busy around here. The place appears clean. The staff endures and remains polite courteous and efficient despite volume and chaos. I’ll go back and have some more Boudin and maybe try some alligator tacos. It's no wonder that it's busy, because it's good.

MY REVIEW: Four small shrimp on my po-boy!! First bite nothing but bread and lettuce. Second bite bread lettuce. Third bite shrimp bread lettuce. A ripoff. Why anyone would go back and pay for 4 small shrimp on a po-boy is beyond me. Much better choices for my dollar, and my stomach. Max Muscle gives this place a 1 out of 10.

MY REVIEW: I'm from mexico and had never had cajun style food. This resturant was amazing. I have completly fallen in love with cajun thanks to this restaurant. I had to dine out but the waitress taking my order was very kind given the fact it was my first time there. I choose the cajun combo that has dirty rice with amazing tasting shrimp and some catfish strips which were very good aswell, and very tastefull jalapeno corn bread. It had a big impact taste for the generous price of only 11 bucks. I would trade any other meal in Houston anytime for a good tastefull meal at Boudreaux's Cajun Kitchen.

MY REVIEW: Another one of my favorites. Excellent food that is spiced up nicely. To the reviewer Tim Cormier, good food needs it's own signature flavor. Boudreaux's is one restaurant that does a good job with their spice's. K*elleys restaurant is bland & tasteless. But that is why so many establishments stay in business for so long. Variety!

MY REVIEW: I come to Boudreaux's ever so often. My family is from New Orleans and I have made trips down there since I was little. I just want to say that nothing compares to Cajun in Houston like Cajun in New Oreans. They food is mediocre to say the least and most tastes like it came right from a can.

MY REVIEW: I love Boudreaux's. I usually get the Cajun Combo with Catfish and Crawfish Etoufee....my grandmother is from LA, and dare I say that their etoufee was just as good as hers. The prices are reasonable and they have a great casual atmosphere...plus their 'Happy Hour' is the bomb!! I will be moving to Houston soon, so I know I will be a regular. I doubt that you will have enough room to eat dessert there, but if you do (or want to take it home) the pecan pie is to die for!

MY REVIEW: I took my staff for lunch and they were all first timers to Boudreaux's.
I had the St.James Chicken Salad for the first time and LOVE IT!!! The salad is topped off with cheeses, grilled chicken and pico de gallo. The chicken was grilled perfectly and seasoned just right. The place was clean, music was just right (not too loud, not too soft). All of my staff loved their orders. They have great happy hour specials too!!!

MY REVIEW: Boudreaux's has decent food, but there is only one item on the menu I have found to be a good value and that is the seafood taco combo. It is the only thing I can order there that will give me a good amount of food for a reasonable price. Every time I tried something different I either left hungry after ordering a near empty plate with a few fried seafood items on it or spent a lot of money by adding some small side dishes.
The tacos, though, are very tasty, good sized and with the combo you get the dirty rice which is good. A fair deal. So my coworkers and I eat there occasionally, but always order the same thing.
