MY REVIEW: I absolutely love the oxtails, turkey and porkchop meals. The sides are delicious! The desserts are off the chain. The staff....very nice! Should you live in or are visiting the Houston area....go by Bunky's get fed with the good Soul Food! Believe it - Von.

MY REVIEW: Excellent home cooked food, tremendous portion sizes. The best is the homemade peach cobbler!! They have oxtails, yams, macncheese, green beans (bacon & onion), spaghetti, porkchops...anything homemade. The server/cook is the best person. so sweet & kind. The only thing missing from Bunky's would be homemade ice cream to put on the warm peach cobbler.

MY REVIEW: first time i went the food was really good. i had the oxtails (which were meaty) and the yams were good. the cornbread was burnt sock-it-to-me-cake was good. today when i went for the second time, cornbread was burnt, oxtails were good the worst dirty rice i had ever tasted. cabbage was good. just because i love soul food i will go back for the oxtails and yams

MY REVIEW: Very down home food. It was very tasty but not for those trying to loose weight. I had the chicken and dumplings as did my husband and it was great. Tasty side dishes also. Lots of food. The people were very friendly and attentive! The area of town can be a little scary but I am glad we went.

MY REVIEW: My husband and I drive from Seabrook, Texas at least twice each week to have lunch at Bunky's. The food is excellent, the staff is always friendly with that down home hospitality. I have recommended this resturant to many and all of the feed back I recieved has been as positive as my own. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

MY REVIEW: Oh my god! I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when I tasted their greens and smothered steak also macaroni salad that is like mom used to make at her deli in New York City. My friend and I decided this place has to go into our weekly lunch rotation. I'd gladly just order a bowl of greens and their cornbread, it's so good. Will be back Sunday for oxtails.

MY REVIEW: I would like to thank the COOK~ I sent my boy-friend to your establishment for lunch today and he came back with fried catfish that was off the chain meaning delicious! He stepped into my office and could not stop talking about how we must make Bunky's one of our regular spots. I agree! Thank you so much!

MY REVIEW: The food was awesome!! What more can I say. My boyfriend brought me once, and now I am stating to bring my co-workers from the Galleria area. Believe me, it is every bit worth fighting the lunch hour traffic!! I just know they have my grandma' cooking in the back!!!

MY REVIEW: I am very disapointed with Bunky's. I work for a very large Bank and every Tuesday and Friday we order about $50.00 - $55.00 with a good tip for delivery

I placed my order at 11:15 am and waited for about 1 hour, I called and she told me that she did not have enough staff to leave... My question to here was why did you not tell me this before you took my order and why did you not call. Deborah said she did not have time to talk and hung up

Very bad business you lost big from this office, That was 400.00 a month
Shame on you. I wonder how the owner feels about this!

MY REVIEW: I have visited Bunky's a few times and always love the food. They give you plenty of food, the service is great, and the peach cobbler is wonderful -- I must admit that I've gone there a couple times solely for the cobbler. This is the best soul food place I've visited, even better than F*mily C*fe. I highly recommend it.

The food was wonderful. Generous Portions. The peach cobbler was the best I have ever had. I will continue to go back each time I go to Houston.
