MY REVIEW: Well, the beer is still $1 with a ticket to the game, but it's no longer a regular size draft. Now it's in a little 8 oz. plastic cup.

BOOOOOOO!!!!! Better to get a pitcher for $4.

Happy to say the food is still great and you can still get a burger, pizza and a pitcher of beer for under $20.

MY REVIEW: Always stop in before the Astros games to get specials with my tickets. The food is great and the food specials at the begining of the week make it a bargain in downtown. Definetly beats paying 6 bucks a beer at the game when i can get $1 ones here. The food was good and i enjoy going there regularly.

MY REVIEW: I was in the neighborhood and just went in for a burger. The service was good and the burger was great. I don't know what they season the meat with, but it is very juicy and flavorful. I have been back twice since and only ordered the burger and fries. Great every time. I heard their pizza was supposed to be good so I plan to try that next time; however, the burger is so good it is going to be hard to pass up. I had good service 2 out of 3 times.

MY REVIEW: This is an awesome restaurant to attend prior to Astros games. Very reasonable prices during "Happy Hour" and $1 domestic beers with an Astros ticket. Half price wings on Mondays and half price pizzas on Wednesdays. The food is excellent although I agree with the other reviews regarding the slow service. I have visited the restaurant on a few occasions and arrived before 6:00pm and still have not made it to a 7:00pm game on time. Outside of the slow service, I would highly recommend this sports bar to others.

MY REVIEW: Bad experience ruined my birthday! My party arrived about 9:30 we came in and they had not started charging cover; probably because the place was dead! After about an hour the wait staff said we needed a wrist band so our whole party had to step to the door to be ID'ed and then they attempted to collect a $10 cover! I explained that we had been there for an hour. The very rude wanna-be promoter from “night functions” had a bad attitude and started talking down to me explaining that everyone in the establishment needed to come out and pay $10 because now they were stating a “promotion” Needless to say my party left! The music was horrible the speakers were busted and sounded painful to my ears; they could not have paid me $10 to stay!

MY REVIEW: I've seen the reviews of the poor service and I've got to say, the service was absolutely great for me. It was a Saturday afternoon, about 2 p.m., with the Astros and Rockets both playing downtown. When we got there the place was about two-thirds full, but it was packed by the time we left.

The service was excellent. Got waited on, came by a couple of times to let us know our food was on the way, and immediately got another round of beer just as we were finishing what we had. With a ticket to the baseball game, the beer is $1.

The food? Oh man!!! Excellent!! The burger was excellent. Hard to mess up a burger anyway. This one had a thick piece of meat cooked just right. Even the fries were excellent. They weren't greasy at all. Also had the shrimp, onion, and tomato pizza. Pretty close to the best restaurant pizza I've ever eaten.

Prices were surprisingly low. 4 beers, hamburger and fries, shrimp pizza for less than 20 bucks.

As far as whether it feels like a sports bar or not didn't really matter to me. If I'm downtown, I'm usually going to a game anyway. This was just a great place to go before the game and grab a couple of beers and some good INEXPENSIVE food, and I will definitely be visiting this place again.

MY REVIEW: Visited a couple of times because I work within two blocks of the establishment. Service is always poor. Management doesn't seem to employ enough waitresses to handle the crowd. Always have to ask for re-fills, napkins, or silverware. The food is always slow to arrive. Typically, if you visit an establishment downtown and have an hour lunch, you always have plenty of time to walk over, sit, eat and still make it back to the office on time. There, an hour lunch break requires an hour and a half to two hours. Witnessed credit cards left (within reaching distance of any patrons), and waitresses who act as if you are bothering them. Voiced my concerns to the Manager. He displayed a very non-chalant attitude and pretty much tried to turn it around and insinuate that maybe it was because of me! He defended his waitresses and did not think they ever provide bad service. But, in our conversation he contradicted himself many times, especially when I was insistent in my complaints. Never offered an apology, nor tried to ensure my business continued with his establishment.

MY REVIEW: Sticking a lot of TVs in a place does not make it a sports bar. There is no sports atmosphere at all. Actually, the place had no vibe at all, which I found surprising on a Saturday night with the Astros playing and a Lakers/Spurs elimination game on.

Beyond the atmosphere, it's just not very well set-up for a sports bar, as the tables are all pushed under the TVs - the result is you can't see the TVs near you, so you must look across the room at screens that aren't really big enough at that distance.

Finally, the tables were filthy. We walked in and found two open tables near the front, but they had food and drink residue all over them and, again, it was difficult to see the game from them, so we searched around for another table. Nothing better was available, so we went up to the roof for about five minutes. And when we came back down, the two tables were still empty because they had yet to be cleaned.

Suffice to say, we left without ever sitting down. I'm sure the owner probably makes a better effort during Texans games or playoff games, but I wouldn't recommend this place for catching a game on a typical night.

MY REVIEW: Strong points: Sitting outside and watching the people, the train, etc. We ordered pepperoni pizza and it was very good.

Weak points: Sat outside and could hardly get service. I noticed several other people who kept going inside to find out where waitress was. One table finally left. Drinks weren't refilled, asking for dessert took forever, bill never did arrive. Had to go inside and ask for pizza box and bill. The bill seemed to be a problem and in the meantime, they threw pizza away. When they realized pizza was thrown away, they offered to make another but I had six year old who was at the end of patience after the bad service so I declined. I called the manager to let him know what was going on, he was nice but made no attempt to make up for bad experience.

Not sure I would go again.

MY REVIEW: burger was nowhere near as good as F*2 across the street......and the fries even weaker...waitress was too busy trying to pick up a guy or guys....leaving the other to do all the work...although she was good.....drink prices are fair...best bet is the dollar beer during Texan games.....and dont worry about your safety...there are always cops hanging out in there

MY REVIEW: Great pizza. Good prices. Service a little slow when busy but usually friendly. Will go back just for the pizza.

MY REVIEW: Good place to hang out with friends, watch the game, listen to a band, or grab something to eat. All of the food is good, especially the pizza. Service has always been friendly and accomodating. Cool semi-upscale atmosphere. Great happy hour (good prices for downtown). Highly recommended.
