MY REVIEW: During the Christmas holiday season my three sister's and I come to Cafe Annice for our girl's only holiday lunch get together. The food is excellent and the price's are very reasonable for such an upscale restaurant in this area. I would highly recommend Cafe Annice to anyone. The staff are very friendly and prompt.

MY REVIEW: I live in Houston and have been to Cafe Annice twice. I can't even describe how good the food, the wait staff, and the prices are here. It's hard to pick an entree or dessert because they all look sooooo good. I wish I lived closer or Cafe Annice was in Houston! Nevertheless, I will definitely make the drive to Lake Jackson for more visits!

MY REVIEW: YUMMIE FOOD!!! I cancelled plans I had in Houston to go with some friends to this place and give it my own opinion. Arriving at the place the loook of it is very cute and cozy. We started the night off with some FLAT TIRES which oh btw we had amazing service, and than moved on to some appetizers the mussels are mmmz! and than for my actual dinner I got the 3 pepper pasta I give this 4 thumbs up!!!

MY REVIEW: The food is always wonderful everytime I go. I have been visiting every few months for three years and for some reason, this year, I have seen a decline in service. The food is still wonderful so I deal with it.

MY REVIEW: I heard about this restaurant from a friend of mine that said she watched a segment on the channel 13 news. So she drove down to try it and absolutely loved it. My wife and I decided to make the trip also and found out it was truly a treasure. We had the Shrimp Remoulade for an appetizer and split a spinach salad and for our entrees we had Salmon wrapped with proscitto over polenta and Chicken Annice. For dessert Tres Leches. (Definitely worth the trip.)

MY REVIEW: I don't understand the great reviews for the very mediocre restautant. The menu never changes; the food is average and the waiters do not understand good service. One major problem with this restaurant is that the dish that is served is not what is on the menu; they make changes. For instance the grilled tuna sandwich (way overdone) is said to have a special sauce, but it does not exist -- it's mayonnaise. The description and the final product have nothing in common. I don't know if they are often out of the menu items, of if they just don't exist. Don't waste your time with this place.

MY REVIEW: OHMYGOSH! I drove down from Pearland with low expectations. Much to my surprise; the ambiance, food, and wine were all excellent! Worth the drive and will be going back soon.

MY REVIEW: Are you kidding me, you would have to go to an upscale restaurant in Houston to get this kind of quality meal and the wiat staff is incredible. I always have a great time.

MY REVIEW: I've been a regular for years, and entertain large parties frequently, but the service has badly deteriorated in recent months. Kitchen still turns out reliably good food, but waiter had poor command of English and knew nothing about menu. I asked him what the fish of the day was, and he said 'it's on the menu'. When I replied that the menu only tells how it is cooked, and not the type of fish, he said 'oh, it's Snapper'. Turned out to be Mahi-Mahi. He also didn't know half the desserts on the tray, and even after I politely corrected him about the Italian Cream cake (absolutely delicious), he brought Carrot Cake.

This is the only decent upscale restaurant in the area, and I have always been thankful for its quality in the past, so I hope the owners will take this review seriously and quickly change the direction of the downward slide.

MY REVIEW: I like this place! It's nice, the atmosphere is nice and the staff is exceptional. Their food varies, however.

Hot pasta dishes: excellent

Appetizers(calamari, crab cakes and pot stickers) all worth the trip on their own.

Tuna and chicken salad: didn't care for them. They were overloaded with mayonnaise and it covered whatever the other flavors were and made it too heavy.

Lunches: nice portion sizes. I especially like the half-and-half with half a club sandwich, small caesar salad and soup. The Reuben is HUGE and well made.

Dinners: can get pricey. I tried the Chicken Anise last time and was disappointed. The taste was very bland and the batter, whatever it was, was greasy. I also didn't care for the presentation with this giant battered chicken breast served on top of the garlic potatoes. It also advertises "with asparagus" which turned out to be 4 very thin spears on top of the whole assemblage.

Overall: good food, nice place to go but do expect to spend a little more $$$ than most places around here.

MY REVIEW: Let me share what a true "diamond" Cafe Annice is! We live in League City and have enjoyed sharing this quaint little jewell with our family and friends for a few years now. I've not experienced a restaurant before where I could close my eyes and pick any item on the menu and know, without doubt, it will be presented in a way that is pleasing to the eye, the pallet, and the pocketbook. The food portions are very generous; usually more than enough. The warm ambiance, the professional waitstaff; from drink to dessert, and everything in between, Cafe Annice is the "whole package" that all should experience and definitely worth the roadtrip!

MY REVIEW: This is the best restaurant we have in the Brazosport area! The food is almost always good (I've only had one bad experience, but I wasn't charged for not liking the dish). The seafood dishes tend to be drenched in butter, but everything is tasty. A nice place to go even if it's just for their spectacular desserts!

MY REVIEW: What a wonderful restaurant!!!! My wife and I had rented a beach house for our anniversary and I called the local golf course for a dinner recomendation. They recomended Cafe Annice and I am certainly glad they did! I called to make a resevation about a month ahead of the date and spoke to Tara. She was the most wonderful manager I have ever dealt with. She drove an hour into houston just to get the bottles of wine that my wife and I wanted for our special occasion! The blue crab cakes were delicious! The proscuitto wrapped salmon with pinot noir and shitake mushroom sauce on a bed of polenta was cooked perfectly! Could be the best experience I have ever had with a resaurant and it's staff.

MY REVIEW: As always, the food and service were exceptional. They are a moderately priced restaurant for this area. Their lunch specials are fantastic. Their appetizers are worth the trip. The flavored iced teas are refreshing and a nice change.

MY REVIEW: Excellent restaurant, best in the Brazosport Area. From the atmosphere to the food to the service, you will not find a better place to dine. There is something on the menu to satisfy the most finicky diners! The lunch menu at Cafe Annice is spectacular and the servings are still enough to share. Of course, don't leave without having dessert. The many selections always make it hard to choose, but "Snickers Cheesecake" and "German Chocolate Cake" are my two favorites!

MY REVIEW: Have been to this restaurant many times for both lunch and dinner and the food has always been very good. Service is always prompt and attentive. The best restaurant over-all in the Brazosport area.
