MY REVIEW: SUSHI SPECIAL: If you find yourself craving sushi at around 9:00pm, head over to the sushi counter where they would rather give it away than throw it away. I have gotten amazing bargains on sushi in the evenings. Last visit I got 10 pcs for the 4pc price.

MY REVIEW: Absolutely love this place. The chef's case is out of this world-great selection of prepared gourmet dishes. Sushi is great....I do all my grocery shopping here...love it.

MY REVIEW: Hired Central Market for catering for a baby shower. I was able to place my order only a week before the date of the party. The planner that I placed my order with was very helpful and patient with my sometimes slow decision making process. The food was delivered to my home exactly on time and it was beautiful. They even included a basket for the bread I ordered and cups for the orange juice! Everyone praised the food and asked me for the recipes (flattered) and at the end of the night there was not a morsel of the food left. I would highly recommend them for any catering need. The food is delicious, beautifully presented and reasonably priced.

MY REVIEW: After friends that were hosting a thanksgiving dinner bailed at the last minute I had to come up with dinner on the fly. I called Central market at 5 pm on tuesday before thanksgiving and was able to get a complete meal for 8. It was great. All of the traditional stuf that everyone wanted including green bean casserole.

The lines for pick up were not long at all and very well organized. I was in and then out of the place in less than 30 minutes. The nice thing about central market is that you can pick up additional item to round out the meal at thier prepared food area (the grilled asparagus went great with the turkey!).

the meal contained herb roasted turkey, sweet potatoes, cornbread dressing (i am not a southerner and would have liked a choice here), green bean casserole, bread, giblet gravy, cranberry orange relish, and a really good pumpkin pie.

The price was over 2x more than I would have paid at a regular HEB, but when the meal has to be fabulous, you can count on them
