MY REVIEW: The service is very good and the food is great. I stop in to eat at least once a week and sometimes more frequent. The service and food has been really good over the last couple of years.

MY REVIEW: I believe this franchise is new to Texas City. Pretty much in line with all the Baytown Seafood retaurants I've been to--pretty decent fare for the money. Signatue orange colored large shrimp are always a good bet as is cornmeal encrusted fried fish. Didn't like the batter on scallops, but do appreciate that they don't coat everyting in the same batter. Oysters (out of season) were beyond tiny, tasted nothing but crust. Came with seasoned fries and their standard nondescript salad of iceburg lettuce and little else. Despite a couple misses, the lunch special was worth it for under $9.

MY REVIEW: I absolutely looooove the crawfish, very tasty. One of the best place for crawfish I think. The did take along time for my food to arrive, but the wait was worth it. I will definitely will go back.

MY REVIEW: My husband and I have tried literally everything on the menu...steaks, lobster included. I believe that the fried shrimp and fried fish are this restaurant's best offerings...the grilled seafood platter is a hit with my husband...me, I stick with what I love...fried shrimp. I really do want to stop everytime I pass by there!

MY REVIEW: The restaurant is very nice and chic unlike the other locations, the service was friendly and prompt the balsamic dressing was outstanding and the seafood , shrimp, fish and scallop was good as I remebered. The only thing was the strawberry daquiri wasn't as sweet or fruity as I hoped. But they did take my restaurant.com coupon with a smile so that was great. Me and my husband will be back!

MY REVIEW: worst restaurant experience ever. Granted, we had a party of 10, but 3 of us didn't get our meals for an hour and a half after the rest had finished theirs. Should have just cancelled, but took it home instead. The 'seafood'gumbo was 80 percent broth. Hard to find anything but a few shrimp. 'Grilled shrimp' salad was not grilled shrimp but rather frozen cocktail shrimp sauteed a little. They made no attempt to compensate for such bad service.

MY REVIEW: Large fried shrimp in their signature crispy orange batter and plump oysters simply dredged in cornmeal are staples that should not be missed at this local chain. A BIG bowl of dark, silky chicken gumbo is only &6. And steamed flounder with garlic butter proves this chain can do more than fried, and do it well!

MY REVIEW: Some friends raved over how they enjoy the food here so we decided to give it a try tonight. My wife and I both love fried shrimp so we ordered a 20 Jumbo Shrimp Platter to split. HUGE MISTAKE! The shrimp were so big we could have ordered one of the smaller plates and STILL had plenty but I have to say YUM! Crispy tender jumbo battered shrimp with french fries and cole slaw. Also came with plenty of cocktail sauce, tartar sauce and ketchup to please us both. It was like all you could eat shrimp! And the service was wonderful also! We'll be back !

MY REVIEW: If you're have a taste for fine seafood but are on a frozen grocery food budget, this is the compromise for you. It's a cut above what you may purchase from the grocery store frozen food section, but comparable in price. This restaurant is popular among my friends and family, which accounts for the frequency of my involuntary visits. Personally, I'd rather fork out the additional $8-15 and take myself or family to a restaurant with fresher, tastier food. Broiled items here, tend to be bland, over-cooked and rubbery.

MY REVIEW: I believe we were part of an April Fool's visit!! With four people in our party, we were immediately seated and placed our order. We recd our salad's and tea. We waited an hour and still had no food. Tables around us were served, ate, left, and more folks were seated and recd their orders. We asked for our waitress who ran in a room and hid. We asked for the manager, who NEVER came over to us. We decided to leave, but only after they made us pay for our tea $8.18. I have never had such bad customer service in my life. I understand mistakes happen, but good customer service addresses those and makes it right - they don't hide from the customer and make them pay for the tea that they ordered expecting it to be part of a meal. I am appalled at how this was handled. Although we have been here several times in the past, they have always been extremely slow - but we finally got out food and ate. We will never eat at another Baytown Seafood Restaurant again.

MY REVIEW: Worst resturant i've ever experienced.. I have been to many baytowns from here to beaumont and i have never been so dissapointed. The waitress brought us 4lbs of boiled crawfish with a half a corn. When i saw everyone else in the resturant getting potatoes and corn with their one pound orders, i asked why we didnt receive any, she replies, "extra corn will be a dollar." Thats the biggest load of crap ever. On top of that she gave us fried rice instead of dirty rice. Not to mention more than a 3rd of the crawfish in our order didnt have tails on them. When we got up to go pay at the counter, we had a short chinese man yelling at us to pay like we were walking out.... i called later to make a complaint to the manager, the waitress replied that she was the manager..... I have not ever had this bad of an experience in a resturant in my life. i will not be returning to this location, nor any other for that matter, id rather pay more to go to pappas to get better food, and to be treated as a normal human being. thanks for reminding me that you get what you pay for.

MY REVIEW: This was our first and last visit - due to awful service. Arrived at 5:30 pm and by 7:00 pm had only received our beverage and salad! Had to flag down the waitress who finally camed over and blamed it on takeout orders keeping them busy - I guess the folks actually dining in-house don't count. Also, not surprising that there was no manager available. No excuse for such lousy service - will not recommend to anyone.

MY REVIEW: I have eaten at this location multiple times and every time the seafood was fresh and flavorful, and we received it in a timely manner. The shrimp are always great, way larger than most of the more expensive restaurants in town and way more seafood on the plate than french fries, which can't be said for the "s*hack" or other well known restaurants. The location is kind of cramped and less than attractive but usually clean. On this visit however, the waiter seemed a little scattered and was cleaning tables with a stinky rag, which was gross, we put disinfectant hand gel all over the table and wiped it down before we ate, but the food was still great. I usually get a baked potato instead of fries which is a dollar extra. My only complaint about the food is that the coleslaw is too small of a serving.

MY REVIEW: This place may not be the prettiest, but the food and prices make this lump of coal a diamond. My family drives from Clear Lake over here often because their seafood is just so good and their gumbo to bat. My father even described it as better than Louisiana gumbo. The prices are more than reasonable and the service if amazing. One of the best eats in the area for sure and it's way better than the other Baytown Seafoods which I don't know are even related to them. This place is the best and I would recommend it to anyone! :)

MY REVIEW: I eat there regularly, mostly take out. I always order the 2 pc catfish and 12 shrimp meal with a baked potatoe, it's good everytime. Yes the salad is a little lame. Over all it's a great value for the price. And if your like me sometimes after working all day, i dont want to cook and clean the kitchen so it a nice treat as their take out service is speedy and accurate..
