MY REVIEW: This particular location has made huge improvements since the last time I went there. Me and my husband use to frequent this location often then we quit because it was going downhill. The food was not nearly as good and the service was awful. We decided we would give them one last try. Boy were we impressed. Seems like there is an entire new staff there including some new managers.

Whatever they are doing there it is working. The food is excellent and the choice of burgers is amazing. You can pretty much make whatever kind of burger you want. Staff has also gotten much better. They always seem so happy to be at work and the managers seem to really care about what is going on there. Huge improvement. If you havent been there in a while or never before I definitely recommend going. It might be a little pricey for a burger and fries but its worth it and the fries are endless.

MY REVIEW: My daughter and 2-year-old grandson went for the first time. Not impressed. First we had to wait to be seated because dirty tables everywhere. When one was cleaned and we sat down, there was no attempt to clean the others. Our hamburgers were not hot. The manager did take them back and gave us more, but still not very hot. It was hard to get drink refills. We don't think we'll be back. F*ive Guys is much better!

MY REVIEW: Took the kids after their last flag football game and was not impressed. It took about 45 min to get a table for 6 at 3 pm on a Saturday. The waiter took our drink order and disappeared for about 15 min. The food was acceptable, nothing to wrote home about. The fries were on the good side, about the only bright spot. The burgers were on the small side, esp when they cost nearly $10 ea. The place appeared clean and had some pretty cool decor, but the food we had was on par with a fast-food joint. Not happy since our late lunch for six cost almost $100 after tip. In addition to the meal the kids shared 1 dessert and 2 shakes. We should of went to J*-I-B!!!!

MY REVIEW: We usually go on Tuesday nights to see Red Robin which is advertised to arrive around 5:30 PM. Around 6:00 we began to ask when was he arriving. The MANAGER told us that no one was there so they were going to wait a little. We are sitting there with our 5 year old daughter and she says ... NO ONE IS THERE YET?!? Of course that left me to explain why we were leaving without seeing Red Robin to our daughter. Thank goodness she took the news well without getting upset. We will find somewhere else to go for so-so burgers!!!

MY REVIEW: We were seated immediately. Things went down hill from there. Slow service taking our order/getting our food. I suspect our waitress wasn't happy with our request for separate checks. When she brought our change and credit cards she left everything in a pile in the middle of the table. We had to sort things out for our self's. I had the fish and chips. The fish was ho hum but the fries were good. I don't think I will be going back anytime soon.

MY REVIEW: Good food, not that cheap, its local so scores points! wish they had more healthy options on the menu. Staff seem to be teenagers with that shrug the shoulders attitude, that what you get in the burbs! I go once a month or so after a movie or before a movie as its local, prefer the I-10 branch for service. They do separate checks and that helps alot as there is normally a group of 6-10 of us.

MY REVIEW: great burger, spectacular onion rings and the service was spot on.....we split a burger and the onion rings and left full and happy, we'll definitely return....only downside....they're too far from my house.....might i suggest a recently shutdown c*hili's on hwy 59 outside of wharton?! this would be a great place to put one, in front of a superwalmart and a buckee's!

MY REVIEW: Had the macaroni and cheese and was surprised when it was delivered with a side salad. The salad was limp and old. The mac & cheese was very good.

MY REVIEW: Visited for a to go order on 2/26 and it was crazy near the door. There were people waiting to be seated and people in line for to go orders and everyone was merged together. To avoid this on 3/1, I tried calling in an order and was placed on hold, some one picked up and put me on hold again, I hung up after waiting for 6 minutes. If you can't help someone on the phone, why even answer the phone. They clearly need more than one person to handle to go orders.

MY REVIEW: My wife and I decided to visit the Katy location today. My wife has been to another Red Robin previously but I have not.

We were greeted by a friendly enough employee who took the conversation a bit overboard. Everyone was nice enough but it seemed forced to us. While we were waiting for our food, another server came over to tell us that our server had to go put some eye drops in and she asked him to stop by and watch the table. So, he stood there looking at the table and said "get it, I'm watching the table". Oh boy, cheesy.

The food was OK, but not worth the money in my opinion. The Whiskey River BBQ burger was really bland, really only tasting the onion strings on the bottom. Not much bbq flavor. The steak fries tasted like Ore Ida but hey, the fries were bottomless, so eat away. We were asked multiple times if we wanted more fries...even though my wife and I both had plenty of fries left in our baskets.

Service was ok, food was ok, cost of lunch and soda's for two, $25.00. Most likely will not go back, just didn't impress me much!

MY REVIEW: This was our first visit to the Katy location although we have been going to the Beltway 8 location for years. We are SO glad to have a Red Robin in Katy! There are not a lot of places out here to get a good hamburger - too many fast food joints. The hamburgers and fries are always excellent. I tried the bruschetta chicken sandwich and it was delicious. It came with garlic parmesan fries that were also great - will definitely order that again.

There are a lot of other items on the menu too if you don't want a sandwich, and I like the fact that you can get a plain burger or chicken breast without the bun and with melon instead of fries if you are watching your weight.

The best part was the service - we could not have asked for any better. A friendly young girl greeted us at the door, holding it open for us although it was cold and windy that day. Our waiter was wonderful - very helpful and friendly, and brought us drink refills and napkins without us having to ask. And a manager came by to check and see if everything was OK. We will definitely be regulars at this location.

MY REVIEW: First time visit.

Bottom line: I'm glad one is coming to Katy!

We ordered two burger plates; Whiskey River BBQ Burger and Burnin' Love Burger. The Whiskey River BBQ Burger was a very good cheeseburger, but a very "poor" BBQ burger. It had virtually no BBQ flavor at all. Although, as I said a very good "plain" cheeseburger it was somewhat disappointing because it was nothing unique or special. The Burnin' Love Burger on the other hand was not only excellent, but it did in fact offer something unique and different.

We will more than likely return, especially to the new one opening soon at I-10 and Grand Parkway.

MY REVIEW: We love the hamburgers at Red Robin. I get a different one every time so I can try them all, although I might have to rule out the Monster Burger since I know I couldn't eat it all. I haven't had one yet that I didn't like. Fries are good too, and are all you can eat. Service at this location is good too. We were greeted by a young lady who had a disability and she had a big smile on her face and really made us feel welcome. David has been our server on our last 2 visits and he is excellent. Even during the busy weekday lunch rush when they were packed, he was still great. If we lived a little closer we'd eat here a lot more often.
