Qin Dynasty

MY REVIEW: This was one of my favorite restaurants but the last couple of times I have been there the female owner has been very rude. My last experience I waited to be seated while she was sitting down texting on her phone, she never spoke to me, she was 3 feet from me.
Finally, a gentlemen walks in and she gets up and ask him could she help him, he states I think the lady was waiting she turns to me and says "may I help you" I said no and how rude of you and departed. I have had several luncheons and dinner celebrations at this location. The male owner has has even called me and thanked me for the business and the nice tips. I will never visit them again and will not refer anyone else.

MY REVIEW: This is one of the best restaurants in Houston, and I've been to a lot of big name restaurants. Price 5 Stars. Ambiance 5 Stars. Food 5 Stars. Can I just give it one big 6 Stars so you get the point? Okay so with that said you have to ask them where they get their chicken from. It is the whitest, freshest tasting chicken I have ever had. Straight from coo to your plate taste (Cooked of course). Not in the mood for chicken? Grab the seafood rice. It's enough for 4 people at a reasonable price, and taste is great.

MY REVIEW: Excellent food and service! Hot and sour soup, won ton soup and egg drop all got thumbs up at the table. Lunch menu served seven days a week! I had rainbow shrimp, wife had Hunan shrimp and mother had Hunan shrimp no spice - everyone enjoyed! Nice, quiet and elegant. We will definitely go back.

MY REVIEW: As transplanted New Yorkers I guess we think we have a lot of good restaurant experience. From our standpoint this is the best, freshest and most sophisticated chinese restaurant in town. It's the only one we will go to.
Ambiance is teriffic...so is the wait staff...so are the prices.

MY REVIEW: Entertained friends this past week-end, Table of Eight.
Recommendation: Start with House Wong Tong, Steam dumplings, Spicy green Beans,& Four different entrees, expresso ice cream dessert. Shared 2 bottles of the House Cabernet.
1. Table was Great. 2. Service Outstanding, greeted by the Manager. 3. Everyone raved about foods high quality & taste, large portions. 4. Prices well in line for our group.
All agreed the DYNASTY is near the top of restaurants to re-visit

MY REVIEW: We use to order from Dynasty ALL the time at work. We'd order at least once per week spending over $100 per order. The service use to be awesome, but now its regular. The prices have have gone up and the quality of food has gone down. Maybe the price have gone up to pay for the new website. We thought things changed because maybe, just maybe it was a bad day for them. Which we understand since everyone have good days and bad days but I doubt if we will order from them again. The last reviews must be from employees because Dynasty is no longer deserving of the name Dynasty

MY REVIEW: My favorite chinese restaurant in town. Maybe anywhere (and I've eaten in Hong Kong).
My impression is that this is Westernized Chinese Food. My Chinese friends prefer to go to more "authentic" places out Bellaire in Chinatown. That food comes with eyes and feet, and can be anywhere from great to frightening to eat. My feeling about the Chinatown restaurants I've been to so far, is that they are both more exotic and also more cheap.
Q'in Dynasty is high-end Chinese food, it is cooked from good quality ingredients, and is hugely tasty. Lunch costs around $8.50, and dinner is a little more (but you get more food too). I haven't found anything on the menu that isn't excellent.
Qin Dynasty is also hugely popular. I don't go much on weekends, but it is usually busy. I go at lunch at least once a week, and you need to get there by 11:15 or you're waiting in line to get in.
If you're looking for chicken feet and sea cucumber, go elsewhere, but if you're looking for the standard Americanized agreed-upon Chinese dishes, except with really good ingredients and prepared really well, this is the place.
Like I say, I go back over and over again.

MY REVIEW: If your looking for a good, clean and friendly chinese resturant in the Houston area, then this is it. My family and I use to go every Sunday after church until Lakewood moved in the area, making it very difficult to eat there due to the large crowds. However we still go on the weekend, adn the food and service couldn't be better. They use real WHITE meal for their chicken dishes, not the dark/greasly pieces. The portion sizes are more than enough. I have tried others, and let me tell you they DON'T COMPARE. Of course I will be back, the whole staff know me and the family. THIS PLACE IS A MUST!!

MY REVIEW: Finally went out with the group from work near GW3. Now my wife likes chinese so I think she would like this place it was reasonable for a lunch and pretty good I got full. They could use more appetizers though not all like soup but otherwise ok. I might even talk my wife in visiting some day from Btwn.

MY REVIEW: A little pricey but very good food. As we are very picky on Chinese restaurants, this one seems very clean and "safe" to eat.
Get the General Taos chicken, white meat with a delicious sauce, I get extra! Order the dumplings early on, they take time but worth it. The banana dessert was not what I expected, will try another next time.

MY REVIEW: The place was great. It was a wonderful surprise that they had a lunch menu that remained the same for the whole week (11-4PM) that had great prices. I especially enjoyed how the food was very tasty without the need to cover it in sauce to give it flavor. My date enjoyed that she actually got more chicken than rice in her dish. Will definately go back.

MY REVIEW: Have been ther twice in the past week...it's that great! Decore is elegant and relaxing, service is wonderful and the food is the best. Had sesame chicken, hot and sour soup and spring rolls. My friens had mongolian beef. Both entrees were piping hot and very well seasoned. The chicken was crunchy on the outside and tender all white meat. The beef could melt in your mouth. I will definitly be back. Next time I will order the scallops and lettuce wraps.
This is my new favorite chinese.

MY REVIEW: excellent restaurant...decor is beautiful, we had a romantic dinner...service was very attentive and special...not too bothersome....we had the crab cakes for an appetizer..divine!...for dinner we had the sesame scallops and gen tsos chicken...best gen tso i ever had, but the sesame scallops i would come back for....and the crab cakes of course...but there is so much more on the menu to try..we did have dessert, i forgot the name but it was chocolate and it was divine..for a chinese restaurant they had like 8 desserts to choose from...what i really like was, you had a choice of plain white rice with dinner or for the health conscious, brown rice..that was a nice touch....the only negative was their won ton soup, i found it to be bland..but, i surely didnt go there for the soup!.. i cannot wait to go again...wonderful dinner!

MY REVIEW: Half of the Greenway Plaza lunch bunch returned to one of our favorite places for Chinese food last week. Strong points - NOT an ACYE buffet, but a full service restaurant with an extensive lunch menu; fast, personable service; upscale decor; it's right across the freeway from the office (okay that's a personal preference but what the hey!); and just plain good food. Only weak point - it's a little pricier than your average Chinese restaurant. But it sure is nice to sit down and be graciously served instead of fighting the stampeding herds at a steam table!
