MY REVIEW: I can not beleive as I am posting this review there are only 2 other reviews about this island institution. This place is great. I haev never had a bad meal and the staff is very friendly...I crave the cold roast beef sandwich.

MY REVIEW: The shrimp bun is beyond delicious! The beer is always cold and the people are hte most wonderful folks you'll ever meet.

MY REVIEW: my grandfather took me here back in the early 90's and I fell in love with the place,food and service.returned several times afterward and was just as good each time.I have not been able to go back for quite some time but am looking forward to when i will.

MY REVIEW: As authentic as they come, Sonny's is a neighborhood burger joint. Pool tables and shuffleboard (and no swearing; "Behave or be gone" is the house motto). Wonderful burgers, and the shrimp bun (sort of like a shrimp po' boy on a hamburger bun) is world class. Equally popular with med students and the courthouse crowd, Sonny's is a Galveston institution.
