MY REVIEW: Not a busy time at this Waffle House. Sat and sat and got no attention from any of the four or five people behind the counter. After about 15 minutes one waitress yelled to ask if I wanted anything and I asked for coffee. After about 10 more minutes of not getting it, I left, figuring I'd used the wrong toothpaste or something that morning. Neither my appearance nor my behavior could be construed as offensive in any way. Some other kind of issue is involved at this Waffle House.

MY REVIEW: The place is clean, well-lit, and cozy like an old-fashioned diner. The food is good, fast, and cheap. Love those hashbrowns and cheesey eggs!

MY REVIEW: Although the closest Wafflehouse is quite a ways down Westheimer from my apartment, I convinced my boyfriend to take me one morning. I hadn't been to a Wafflehouse in years, but it was still as good as I remember. Our waitress was attentive and our food was ready quick. The restaurant is TINY and crowded, but it has a nice atmosphere. Everything I ate was delicious. Their hashbrowns are fantastic! and so are their waffles. I usually go to I*HOP if I want breakfast food because it is much closer, but Wafflehouse was cheaper AND you get more food for the price. The food at Wafflehouse is also a lot tastier. It's a bit of a drive just for breakfast, but I'll be back!

MY REVIEW: I can not believe that in 2004 you have to pay $1.75 extra to pay with a debit card. It is a rip off and I will never visit again.

MY REVIEW: waited and waited for my breakfast.when asked ,the waitress said it was coming.she pointed to a plate with cooked eggs on it that had been sitting there for a couple of minutes.i had also asked for sausage but nothing was being cooked on the grill.after a few minutes i told her i wouldn't eat those eggs-they would be cold.she went over to the cook nad told him.he then picked up the egg with his bare hand and threw it on the grill.seeing as it is christmas i decided not to call him an asshole.theres too many other WH's where i can go

MY REVIEW: The one thing I remember about Waffle House is the choice of a 1,2,3 or 4 egg breakfast. How many other places offer that on the menu?

MY REVIEW: Upon entering almost any Waffle House you will usually be greeted by a waitress behind the counter with a coffee pot in her hand and a loud country twang in her voice with a “Welcome to Waffle House, ya’all!”. Waffle House is probably more famous for their Hash Browns then their waffles. They serve them seven different ways, scattered, smothered, covered, chunked, diced, topped, and peppered. Scattered is scattered on the grill, smothered is with onions, covered is with cheese, chunked is with ham, and so on…There is no question that their hash browns are good! I like them scattered, smothered, covered, and chunked. Each way adds a little more to the cost, and if you order ala Carte at Waffle House, it can get expensive for breakfast!
Waffle Houses are small places and even though they have no smoking areas, it can get smoky sometimes. With the jukebox playing and the waitress standing at attention (another Waffle house custom) to yell each order to the cook, it can also be loud. They serve other things besides breakfast, but they specialize in breakfast and if you stick with breakfast items, you will be satisfied.

MY REVIEW: One Waffle House is as good as any other, and that's not a bad thing. Waffle House food is fresh, hot and served up in a friendly atmosphere. Sure, it's LOADED with fat, and they cook in lard, but it tastes soooo good! I wouldn't recommend it every day, but on an occasional basis, Waffle House rules!
