MY REVIEW: Our son practically lived at the Freebirds in College Station when he went to A&M so we decided to try this new location near our house. The burritos were about the same as all the regular burrito places you can go to in the Houston area but what set this meal apart was the enthusiasm of the fellow making our burritos. I felt like he was my friend excited about making me one of his "creations"! The corn salsa was a nice addition, I'm not sure if that is available at the competitors locations. We joined the freebird fanatics club and will definetly be back.

MY REVIEW: Food is really good, but sometimes the servers are not paying attention to the customer. We had one girl (short, dark hair) that was talking to the customers in front of us (who had another server) and I had to keep yelling to her what I wanted when she kept getting it wrong.

MY REVIEW: Stopped in for the first time ever to a Freebirds and I can't see a reason to go back. The young man taking my order was new and did a good job fulling our order. It was...o.k...Unfortunately, the young lady ringing us up overcharged us. No matter how I tried to explain we didn't want pop or drinks with our order and just wanted to pay for the chips and salsa "ala carte" as they show on their menu she still charged us for pop. When I pointed this out to her on the way out she again explained how much money we saved by doing it her way, that only by buying a smaller burrito may a customer purchase the chips off the "sides" menu for $1.99. Exhausting. She suggested I'd do a better job ordering "next time". Hmmm, I don't think so. Basic math skills, honestly.

MY REVIEW: The pros: Clean, polite staff, fun atmosphere.
The cons: The food. Seriously, other than the massive burritos filled with rice and beans to fill big bellies I don't see the attraction. Bland is the only way to describe it. This is just another one of those feed lot kind of places where you get massive quantities for cheap. If you're on a budget then this is your kind of place.
In between: At first it seemed that the decoration was kind of fun, but as I was eating my bland food it struck me that it was really just a little too much of a hipster doofus theme.

MY REVIEW: Love this place! It is clean, the food is delicious, and burrito for burrito is cheaper than C*hipotle. Plus I love that they have multiple sizes. They have an outdoor patio, and I can't believe people don't eat out there more often. The staff is friendly but a little over the top, unless I'm in the mood to be served by Fonzie Impressionists. And let's face it sometimes you just need a little fonzie.

MY REVIEW: I've posted several reviews on B4UEAT.com, and this one will be my most severe by far. I've been to Freebird's on Greenbriar a few times and always found that the service was good and the food ranged from so-so to good (the beef was usually tough and hard to chew). But my visit to the 9774 Katy location was a truly horrible experience. First of all, I was trying to expose my girlfriend and her kids to something new, as they love that other burrito place (the name starts with C and ends with E). Anyway, this visit to this particular Freebirds pretty much ruined it for them and me. We will never be back, even with a coupon. The girl taking our order was slow, and she couldn't get the order right. Perhaps the fact that my girlfriend placed an order for 4 people was more than the employee could handle. Seriously, there was something wrong with the girl that took the order, god bless her. But beyond the poor service, the line was confusing. All the ingredients were covered so it was difficult to see what toppings/fillings to choose. And some of the toppings/fillings just didn't look right. This was NOT the Freebirds I remember. And to top it off, they serve Pepsi instead of Coke (I think all the locations do). If you must eat at Freebirds, go to the Greenbriar location.

MY REVIEW: I had lunch today for the first time at Freebirds World Burrito. I ordered the “Hybrid Steak Burrito” to-go. When I arrived back in my office with burrito in hand, I quickly discovered it was horrid. The cubed steak in my burrito was mostly inedible gristle. There was also something profoundly gritty inside the burrito – not sure if it was from the cilantro or the beans - it crunched between my teeth almost as if the burrito had been lightly sprinkled with beach sand. After a few bites, I became disgusted and tossed the remainder of the burrito into the trash can ($5.94 down the drain). I will definitely not be returning to Freebirds World Burrito.

MY REVIEW: Strong Points: Good flavor and tons of options. Extremely generous portions. Order accuracy. Customer Service. Great prices.
Weak Points: I can't get there fast enough. My mouth waters too.
Complete Review: I introduced my new co-workers to this place and everyone really enjoyed their food. Everyone's order was correct and even had their names on it. Customer service is very welcoming and friendly. Placed the order online and received a confirmation call. Went to pick it up and it was ready! The queso is really good as well as the guacamole. Very affordable, 2 big burritos, a chicken quesadilla, 2 tacos, 3 bags of chips, 3 drinks, guacamole and queso for about $31. Not bad!!
Way better than Ch!p0+le; I hate that lime cilantro rice :x Kandiee <333's this place!

MY REVIEW: Love this place! The kids that work there are always friendly and personable. Love the steak it is so good. I usually get a burrito and my husband the nachos. Both are awesome. It does depend on who is serving you for portion size. Love everything about the place except for the dried hot sauce on the bottles on tables. That should be cleaned off. This is a regular stop for us after church. Thanks Freebirds!!!

MY REVIEW: This location sucks. They are so concerned about the portions, it's ridiculous. If your burrito is called a Monster, then you should fill it to capacity, not be concerned if someone gets an extra helping of beans. Austin locations are better; Taylor location is also stingy.

MY REVIEW: This is a great place for a killer burrito! I've tried the others, and this is by far the best of the bunch!
I got a coupon for a free burrito at a family event at Market Street and I have to admit, I was curious to see if they'd live up to the hype.
The music was cool, they were super friendly (and great with my kids!!), and the food couldn't have been more awesome! I'm hooked and have been there twice more in the last week. There's been a line everytime I've gone, but they move quickly and now I know why there's always a line. Totally worth it!

MY REVIEW: It's a college thing.. you either get it, got it, outgrow it, or still thrive on it.
It's loud, it's supposed ot be.
It's not PERFECT - it's not supposed to be. have you SEEN who's rolling the Monsters??
It's damn Good - if it's not, you made it, it's Your fault. (unless it blows up on you, then it's theirs, and they'll gladly remake it for you.) $#itpotle can ____, and ___ their ____ in Their ____.
I've hit all College Station locations, Shepherd, Cutten, the Woodlands, and Heights... NORMAN, OKLA to where they SERVE BEER ! Put it this way, I have 6 free t-shirts...
I never change what I order because it's perfection. Monster Cayenne, Light Rice, Mix cheese, Black beans, Steak, TABLESPOON of Garlic, Tablespoon of Death, 10 dashes of Lime, Pico, Sour Cream and Lettuce... Habanero on the side, and pour over as needed.
If you got a problem, TELL MGMT ! THEY WANT TO HEAR ! They Will fix it! don't come home, and bitch and whine and post on facebook that your burrito sucked... it's your fault MOM... or Dad..or Whiny Girlfriend... or Stuck up Snotty-ass Boyfriend... If I see you there, I'll even help you by asking the Mgmt to give you a hand...
hell, i don't even WORK there..nor HAVE I..

MY REVIEW: FANTASTIC!!! This was our second time to eat at Freebirds. First time was at 1960 location in Houston and all was good. After understanding the history of Freebirds we went to the new woodlands location during the 1st week of grand opening. It was fast and furious but the manager, burrito roller, and all others were in the groove and humping to please. Being a graduate of UT and knowing that the start was in College Station I kept my predijoice at bay and soaked in the new age burrito experience. The Woodlands is unique and it felt like being on campus at any college. Where else can you go and see a crowd of college kids / college bound kids playing a pickup game of catch football in the parking lot of a major strip center?? A very pleasant site.
As far as the food - great value for great food but the ambiance and site seeing adds to the flavor for an excellent culinary adventure!!!
A MUST GO !!!!!
