Profile Description: We are a locally owned family restaurant that has been here for 14 years and pride ourselves on great food and great service. We offer dine in, carry out, and delivery/full catering service. Also, Kid's Eat Free on Monday's! We are introducing a NEW WINE LIST and NEW SUMMER MENU on June 1st, 2008.
27606 Interstate 45 N, The Woodlands, Texas 77385 281.364.9555 MY REVIEW: Strong points: The food is very good and not your typical chain Italian food. There is also plenty of it. It makes great leftovers too. There are enough choices to satisfy all tastes and, now, there is also a summer menu with lighter fare that has some really yummy choices as well. The service has been excellent. The wait staff is friendly, helpful and efficient. The hostesses are also great. The tomato soup is wonderful and the salads are fresh. We haven't tried desserts... no room for them. The wine is decent and the pour is generous. The ambiance is warm and friendly with strategically placed decorations that give it character.
Weak points: The only issue is that the dining area is all open and the noise level can be a bit much for carrying on a dinner conversation.
Don't let the fact that Pallotta's is in a strip center put you off. When you walk in the door (usually courteously opened by a hostess) you are in a different world. Enjoy.

27606 Interstate 45 N, The Woodlands, Texas 77385 281.364.9555 MY REVIEW: It was our first time visiting Pallotta's and we will definitely be returning. We were greeted by a couple of cute hostesses who let us know there would be about a 10 minute wait, not long at all with the business they seemed to be having. After about 10 minutes we were sat and were greeted by our waiter Kevin in under a minute, he let us know about the special and suggested some wine and drinks, I had a glass of the Fetzer Cabernet and my wife had the Pinot Noir. Our waited suggested the Toasted Ravioli's Espanol as an appetizer and it was a great choice, almost filled us up right then! For our entree's I had the Benjamin and my wife ordered the Dominic, both portions were huge. We were hoping to eat some dessert but the entree's more than filled us up, Kevin then suggested getting something to go, after hearing their long list of desserts we decided on the Turtle Cheesecake, something thats just as good 2 hours later. All in all we were very pleased, the ambionce of the restaurant is very nice our service was perfect and the food was quick and hot. We will be returning soon and hope to become regulars.

27606 Interstate 45 N, The Woodlands, Texas 77385 281.364.9555 MY REVIEW: What a surprise! I went based on the reviews & was not disappointed. The entrance from a strip mall parking lot is a disguise to the warm ambiance inside. We were welcomed warmly, seated promptly & our server arrived promptly. The decor was of warm woods and elegant but not stuffy.
My teenage son ordered a lasagna & I had their K&D (K&J, K&something) pasta. I started with their minestrone soup which came in a bowl - a meal in itself. It was a tad bit salty for me. My son said his lasagna was one of the best he's ever had & he's had a lot of lasagna around the country. My dish was 1/2 pesto creme & 1/2 tomato sauce with mushrooms & walnuts on bowtie pasta - YUM! It was a contrast of smooth subtle pesto creme set against the spicy tomato. I will order this again.
We will be going again. We love to find owner operated restaurants in an area full of franchises.

10865 Jones Rd, Houston, Texas MY REVIEW: This has always been my favorite place to eat...me and my family find ourselves going there once or maybe even twice a week. That is why I am completely surprised that they closed the restaurant down with no even so much as a closed sign up on it's doors!! We were utterly baffled when me and my family tried to go there for dinner Monday July 30th 2007 and found our favorite restaurant closed [at this location]! All I can say is that I hope that they don't change a thing...it would be a horrible shame.

10865 Jones Rd, Houston, Texas MY REVIEW: This was my second visit to this location. My first visit was for a wedding shower, so I only tried the appetizers--the baked mozzarella cheese was very memorable, so I returned with some family members for a meal.
We arrived around 4:00 PM on Saturday afternoon. Not a big crowd, so the restaurant was very quiet. I've never been here during a rush, so I cannot say how the service is then, but it was good during late Saturday afternoon. (Not over the top service).
The first thing we noticed about the restaurant was how great it smelled--very enticing. We had appetizers--bake mozzarella (of course) and I also asked for an order of Italian flat bread. The rolls that they serve with the baked cheese are similar to the frozen type you get from the supermarket, which is why the flatbread comes in handy--it is fantastic.
We all ordered the same entree: chicken marsala. The prices here are a little high, but one serving is enough to split between two people or you can take the leftovers home. The food is great--very authentic--my relatives say the best they've had.
One of my relatives commented that this would be a great place for a piano bar. I agree.

10865 Jones Rd, Houston, Texas MY REVIEW: In response to the reviews shown, I and my office mates work very close to this location, and while we like the food, we no longer lunch here because the service is so slow. Often it takes 20-30 minutes to even get one's food. On the third time we were late back to work in spite of explaining out situation to our server, we decided that was the last visit to Pallotta's. Once we even ordered our check when we ordered our food, and still did not get it. The servers just disappear after they bring your food, and twice I have gotten up and walked over to the bar area (closed at the time) where someone was stocking the glasses (literally the only visible employee in the dining room) and asked them to please find someone that could get us our check. Then we waited 5 more minutes for someone to actually bring the check. Stay away unless you have LOTS of time to wait.

10865 Jones Rd, Houston, Texas MY REVIEW: Why do these cowards post such comments without leaving anything such as a name or even their business? It seems to me as it does every other customer, when we dine at Pallota's our service is excellent. You people are just out to get a discount, hard to believe you would pick an upscale place like this to even dine, the price being too much for your kind of people is no excuse to insult the superb service this place has. Just pathetic.

10865 Jones Rd, Houston, Texas MY REVIEW: Strong points - The food was good.
The rest of the story is that myself and nine other co-workers went to have lunch for an asssociate's birthday. We were seated immediately. That is about where the excellent service ended. The waiter took our drink order and the drinks weren't delivered until 15 minutes after our order. It was another 15-20 minutes until the waiter decided to take our order. After our order was taken, we finally got our salads 30 minutes later. Fourty-five minutes after receiving our salads we had to track down the waiter and ask to see a manager. The manager gave us sob story about being short on waitstaff. However, it seemed that every other table in the establishment received perfect srervice.
We were given a 20% discount, but charged 18% gratuity. Good food, inept service and management.

10865 Jones Rd, Houston, Texas MY REVIEW: I live in St. Louis and make the trek down to houston a few times a year with my wife to visit her family, and this is the one place we always work into our trip! I cannot say enough about the place. It has a formal feel, but yet is very comfortable. The service has always been outstanding...even when we go there with her whole family, which can be as many as 10 adults and 3 children under 5. The food is incredible, Everything We have ever ordered has always been hot fresh and tasty. I would agree with the the other reviews that Pallotta's is some of the finest Italian I have ever had. I would recommend it to anyone who loves Italian food.

10865 Jones Rd, Houston, Texas MY REVIEW: Reading through the reviews from others I was struck by two reviewers from NYC who said that this is the best Italian they've found in Houston and that it rivals the food in New York. You guys must not have been home in a while. I mean come on! Pallotta's really isn't a bad place. The pasta dishes are above average, especially for Houston. The grilled dishes are very good. Atmosphere is charming. The place is definitely a gem in the Cy-Fair area. I would tell a friend that he wouldn't be disappointed in going to this restaurant. But if you've recently been to NYC, don't expect Little Italy. It's still Houston Italian food.

27606 Interstate 45 N, The Woodlands, Texas 77385 281.364.9555 MY REVIEW: I'm not in the habit of posting these kind of things, but my experience was so good I felt I had to! This place is a hidden jewel in the Woodlands...it is in a strange place (strip mall), so you may just pass by and not even see it. The things we liked were:
#1-The service. Susan, our server, was great. Very welcoming, knowledgeable, and friendly. She helped us with our wine choice, and allowed us to taste the two she recommended, which were the house merlot and the white merlot (we never knew there was such a thing, but it was great!). We have been to some places that were SO pretentious about the wine, this was low-key and friendly info. Susan also made sure our table was clean, and we always had everything we needed like drink refills, bread or butter, etc (without ever having to ask!). Even though she got a couple more tables while we were there, we still felt as if we were expertly attended to.
#2 THE FOOD! The tomato-basil soup is to die for...chunks of tomato, onion, crispy croutons, it was perfection. I can't remember the names of what we ordered (the menu has some very weird names for the food), but both entrees were wonderful- the pasta was ad dente, the sauces delicious and not too heavy, the shrimp tender and perfectly cooked. The portions are huge-we ended up having to get to-go boxes. No room for dessert, but after her description of them, we will be saving room next time we go back!
The restaurant inside could use a bit of decorating help, but we went there for the food, so...no big deal. We recommend this place wholeheartedly, it was one of the best experiences we've had dining in the Woodlands!

27606 Interstate 45 N, The Woodlands, Texas 77385 281.364.9555 MY REVIEW: As we pulled into the parking lot we may have had a different opinion. The shopping center needs a face-lift but as we walked up to the front door the sign indicateing the times of operation caught our eye. Once thru the door it was all over. The atmosphere was beautiful and comfortable. Our waiter was friendly, punctual and just a joy. We started with an appetizer, the cheese sticks were GREAT. My boyfriend and I then argued about soup or salad. He had the soup I had the ceaser salad....GREAT. Then the food.......I can not say enough about this perfect find. We live on the south of town but will make this drive again.

10865 Jones Rd, Houston, Texas MY REVIEW: My wife, baby girl (8 months), and myself went to Pallotta's per a recommendation from a colleague. I am from New York and I know italian food. Pallotta's was by far the best I have had in years, since leaving my home land of NY. The waitress was very very nice and she let us try a cup of Tomato Basil soup which was wonderful. We will be certain to order that again. I had a house favorite, marked by what looks like a little potatoe reading a menu, and it was great. Everything was ideal and I dont think I could go to Olive Garden or another chain restaurant knowing Pallotta's is nearby. Try it, you'll love it.

10865 Jones Rd, Houston, Texas MY REVIEW: I have pass this location more time than I can count. A co-worker suggested we go for Love Day and we did. The place was very busy but we waited and it was more that worth the wait. Our server Gabe was so excellent that we fell in love with our entire expreince at Pallotta's. He had knowledge on all the dishes, he paid close attention to what was wanted and needed. The service he provided was amazing. But lets talk about the food, it was "AMAZING" the Chef must be one of the best in town. The flavor that where put together came across at every bite. To state that lunch the next day was better that having it fresh that night. In menting fresh every bite tasted like it was just made and brought to the table. We also had one of the cheese cakes, it was heaven on earth!! Smooth, creamy and full of chocolate!! Oh my I can not go on. Needless to say I will return to this location more and more.

10865 Jones Rd, Houston, Texas MY REVIEW: The resturant by far, is one of the best italian resturants in houston. I'm a NY native and I've had some outstanding italian food cooked by the best. This place def. rivals some of the resturants I've visited in NY. Great food, nice enviorment. I've read a few reviews and no one has mentioned the specialty "18th Amendment". It's chicken w/pasta.....GREATEST.EVER. Give it a try.

10865 Jones Rd, Houston, Texas MY REVIEW: My wife is is an Italian restaurant addict. We arrive in a new city and she will begin asking the locals where the best Italian restaurants before we get out of the airport. Rest assured, she will have checked the web as we planed the trip. She has favorites from San Francisco to So Ho and from Singapore to Millan, Italy.
Me, on the other hand, I like steak, simply seasoned and simply cooked. I am not a fan of tomato sauces or pastas. BUT, we went to Pallota's the first time at my wife's request but I am now as likey to suggest it as she is. They won me over with the quality and style of their food. I expect good service when we go out and won't give a place more than two chances. Pallotta's certainly delivers on this front.
The sauces are deeply rich without being bitter or sour. The Marie toasts are so good I have to ration myself or I will fill up on bread and sauce before the entrees come. I have liked everything I have tried to this point and I am not affraid to try anything on the menu.
We are lucky enough to live near Jones road so we will be stopping by often. The experience is well worth the price.

She was attentive, polite and not over powering. She met all our need and we will request her ever time we go. Thanks Amy.
Of course the food is always the best. :)

10865 Jones Rd, Houston, Texas MY REVIEW: We visited Pallotta's for the first time recently and found it to be unexpectedly great. The homemade tomato basil soup was remarkably fresh tasting. The chicken dishes were very good and prices were reasonable. Our waiter (Eddie) was knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. We definitely will go back again. Contrary to The Woodlands location, this location was NOT noisy when we were there during the weekday dinner hours.

10865 Jones Rd, Houston, Texas MY REVIEW: My wife and I like to eat out, but its usuallt to one of the big franchises like Olive Garden. So we decided that friday that we were going to try a new place for once. What a great decision, we were greeted at the door by two hostesses with giant colgate smiles. They walked us to our table and I was able to look around, and the interior of the building is beautiful, great lighting, and the music suites the atmosphere. Our waiter Gabe was very helpful and patient with all of our questions, and never seemed bothered or obnoxius like some servers are in restaurants. He also kept the table clean, like picking up used sugar packets, or replacing the soggy drink napkin, to some people that may not matter, but i notice this type of service, attentive but not bugging.
For an appetizer we had the "Craig Micheals" Fondue (close to $10) , which i would recommend to anyone who likes shrimp, we both had the Creamy tomato basil soup, we were at first a little hesitant because its summer, and who eats soup when its just as hot outside, but Gabe said that if we didnt like it, he would but it for us, which wasnt neccesary at all, it was a big bowl (for .95 cents) and delicious. We couldnt finish it, so Gabe put them into containers for us, our entrees were the Shrimp Marsala(around $19) , and the Benjamin (about $17), and the portions were big, what i really liked was the fact that you get big shrimp, that you have bite and not swallow whole, after he mentioned homemade desserts, we asked for boxes, but instead he boxed them up for us, for dessert we had a piece of turtle cheesecake which was very good, (almost $8)and some coffee. While eating our dessert we were able to chat with our server some more. Good Luck in school Gabe. Great food, fun atmosphere, friendly staff. Pallotta's gets a 10 out of 10

10865 Jones Rd, Houston, Texas MY REVIEW: My wife and I enjoy Italian food, since we moved here a few years ago, good Italian food was hard to fine. We found Pallotta's and that problim was solved
I'm not a person who enjoyes the eating out experience as a rule. Pallotta's changed this because from the greeting at the front door, to the attentive service from the waiter (Kirk), the generous servings and the wonderful flavor from each dish I have so far tasted, this restaurant provides great service matched with great food. Yes sir, I'll be back again and again.

My husband & I are both native Houstonians and are quite critical when it comes to where we dine. We are thrilled to have discovered Pallotta's, our server Chris was fabulous & the chicken parmesan & angel hair pasta with marinara & large gulf shrimp was simply the best! Thank you Chris for taking such wonderful care of us Friday evening!

10865 Jones Rd, Houston, Texas MY REVIEW: The restaurant was realy warm and dark. A great improvement over the decor of previous restaurants in this spot. We were greeted by a very friendly hostess who also wished us a nice evening and held the door for us on the way out. While the service was very good, our waiter was somewhat annoying. He kept apologizing, for what I never knew, and when my husband asked if an entree could be made with something besides shrimp, he told us that it a lot of other ingredients and recited them. The food was excellent and plentiful, but not enough to take half home. I expected the offer of parmesan grated over our food, but got the powdered stuff from the "green can" in a shaker on the table like C*iCi's. We really enjoyed the meal and the cheesecake was very good, but be warned that it was $7.99!

10865 Jones Rd, Houston, Texas MY REVIEW: Pallota's was a wonderful place to eat the first time we went, and proved to be even better the second time around. We went in and were immediatly greeted at the door by a host and hostess. When we were seated, we were greeted by a friendly waiter. He was quick to tell us about the specials of the day. We each ordered the italian margaritas (rich and wonderful in taste. I recommend everyone to try at least one). We skipped the appitizer only because we knew that the portions of these entrees were so large that there was just no way to save room for dessert. Our waitor told us about the special of the day (Bank 19) and even told us a story that went along with it. He mentioned that it was his favorite dish in the restraunt, therefor we had to try it as well. He was very friendly, and seemed to know alot what was going on. He also got us to try the Tomato Basil soup. Once again, it was delicious. Very Large, but very delicious.
After each getting our Bank 19, we decided that we would get 1/2 of it in a "ToGo box" and try the dessert. The desserts were told to us in a verbal menu(which made everything sound amazing). He intrested us in the Dominics Mud. If you like chocolate, peanut butter, and more chocolate this dessert is for you. After using our coupon(you can find in the paper) our total was much less than i would have ever imagined. I would have to put Pallotta's above any other Italian food restraunt in the city of Houston. And i would make this a must visit on a long line of a "To-Do list" in restraunt dining.
