6107 FM 1960 Rd W, Houston, Texas 77069 281.895.9222 MY REVIEW: I have frequented this restaurant at more than one location. The food is great. I am a huge seafood lover. The crawfish is my favorite at this restaurant. The service is mediocre on most nights. But if you are looking forward to stopping by on a weekend evening, this is definately NOT the location. I went by one friday evening to reserve a table to meet friends. The line was out the door into the parking lot. So I then decided to place an order to go. I waited at the bar for 30 minutes. I place the order with the bar tender, as well as with two other waitress' with no response. Finally after a good 40 minutes of standing around in a overly crowded restaurant, I left very unhappy. I was very dissatisfied with the service, even more disappointed that it happend at one of my favorite places. I hope they make plans to expand very soon.

13174 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, Texas 77014 281.880.5588 MY REVIEW: Nice decor and main food dishes were great. Tartar Sauce was unsat(too thin-tasted like Ranch dressing) and Thousand Island dressing needed improvement. Service was adequate; interior appearance was clean but adding an acoustical ceiling would truly enhance the atmosphere and reduce the noise level.
First class awards go to the cook as the meals were truly appetizing. First prize also goes to the cook for making the plates look so exotic! We drove two hours round trip to check it out. With a little creativity, the tin partition walls could be painted with murals of lobsters, crawfish, sea fish etc.

6107 FM 1960 Rd W, Houston, Texas 77069 281.895.9222 MY REVIEW: No one knows me by name but I have been there more that 4-6 times so I selected "Everybody knows my name...". The staff is always attentive, although I guess they are a bit young, and can seem as though they are not interested. The main thing is that they get the job done. The food is excellent. I highly recommend this place. I do not eat out that often, when I do it is this place. The only people eating at those other seafood "shacks", simply have not eaten here before, because I can assure you that if they had, they wouldn't eat seafood anywhere else. Great food, great atmosphere, the staff does a great job, keep it up!

6107 FM 1960 Rd W, Houston, Texas 77069 281.895.9222 MY REVIEW: I loove seafood, and this place was just what we were looking for. The crawfish was perfect - very good quality; NOT the small shrimp size crawfish, out of 2lbs of crawfish, we only had 2 small ones!! Our waitress was very attentive, and our food was served up very quickly. Very reasonably priced too. We had oysters to start, 2lbs crawfish and then to main meals + cokes. Came to less than $50.
Yes the place is 'small' compared to J*oes, B*abins, etc, But its not 'cramped'.
I have friends visiting from overseas and I was intending to take them to the 'cooler' downtown crawfish locations....no need to, this place is just perfect!

6107 FM 1960 Rd W, Houston, Texas 77069 281.895.9222 MY REVIEW: I love Bluewater. I eat there at least 3 times a week. There are a few servers who are lacking, but the others make up for it. The atmosphere is very comfortable & leaves you wanting to hang out all day w/a cold beer & the big screen. Friday nights get a little busy, so if you want to beat the rush, go around five or so. My only complaint is they need broader dessert menu!

6107 FM 1960 Rd W, Houston, Texas 77069 281.895.9222 MY REVIEW: Best boiled crawfish in Houston!!! A small place that doesn't look like much from the outside, but has a home-y feel with GREAT service and GREAT prices. The beer is competitively priced with bucket specials. Also, make sure you try the hush puppies!

6107 FM 1960 Rd W, Houston, Texas 77069 281.895.9222 MY REVIEW: If you want bad service from teenagers who do not really care about you, then go here.
The last and final time that we went there, we ordered crabs. When the crabs were set in front of us, the waitress told us that she hoped we could eat them without crab crackers because they could not find any. A seafood restaurant without crab crackers? By the way, the crabs that time were mediocre.
We asked for paper towels on a previous visit and were told by a different waiter that they did not have any. It is pretty difficlt to eat buttery crab or spicy crawfish without any type of napkin.
Usually the food is good, but the service just seems to be getting worse and worse. If you ask for Brad to express your concerns, he does not appear to actually care either.

6107 FM 1960 Rd W, Houston, Texas 77069 281.895.9222 MY REVIEW: The good things about this restaurant is that even if they are not cheap, they boil the crawfish in a fresh seasoning and you can smell and taste the seasoning from the kitchen. The bad thing is the place is too small and you have to wait in line for a long time. If you plan to visit this restaraunt you come early and wait. There is people there all the time. The waitress is nice there. The service is always good. I'm always satisfied when i go to the restaurant.

6107 FM 1960 Rd W, Houston, Texas 77069 281.895.9222 MY REVIEW: Brad and the gang are always ready with great food. The service is friendly and make you feel at home. I've been there by myself and with others never had an issue with seating. When the crawdads are in it gets busy, the wait is worth the reward! If you feel left out see Brad he will make it right. Since the crawfish (they still have them)are out of season, they are offering a weekly fish special. They are always price right and tastie. Blue Water is a real gem in the 1960 area!

6107 FM 1960 Rd W, Houston, Texas 77069 281.895.9222 MY REVIEW: If you are only a party of 2, this is definitely the wrong place to go eat because this restaurant gives preferential seating to parties of 5 or more. In fact, we arrived and sat at the last table in the restaurant and were told by the waitress to sit outside or at the bar because we did not have enough people with us to fill up the table. The funny thing is that no other customers were waiting to be seated. We both felt that this restaurant does not value our business, even though we've been going there since it opened. We left and immediately went to the restaurant next door to Bluewater, to find that this restaurant had much better food, and they did not make us sit at the bar because we are a party of 2.

6107 FM 1960 Rd W, Houston, Texas 77069 281.895.9222 MY REVIEW: This restaurant is one of the best places to eat in Houston. I have been going there for years and it just seems to get better and better. The owners are nice people that take pride in serving excellent food. Their food is amazing and we can always watch sports on the big screens! If you haven't been there, what are you waiting for?

6107 FM 1960 Rd W, Houston, Texas 77069 281.895.9222 MY REVIEW: Great food for the price. The crawfish are wonderful and spicy. I've been going to this restaurant for over 7 years and I've watched it grow into a place that serves quality food for a resonable price by a friendly staff. The owners have taken the time to get to know their customers so it feels like a neighborhood place to eat. If you like seafood this is a restaurant that you should try!

6107 FM 1960 Rd W, Houston, Texas 77069 281.895.9222 MY REVIEW: THE best blueshell crab - and just about the only place they can be found. They are a little expensive but usually so big you won't need to order as many. The place is a little crowded. Service is mostly very good. We have had the crawfish and shrimp also and love it all. We are from Louisiana and were so happy to find this restaurant!

6107 FM 1960 Rd W, Houston, Texas 77069 281.895.9222 MY REVIEW: Excellent - I love oysters and this place has good oysters for $5.99 a dozen -- But on TUESDAYS they are $3.99 a dozen !!!! Hard to beat that. Also the crawfish are great at $3.99 a lb -- Yummy - No frills - just great fresh seafood here. If you sit outside the traffic on FM 1960 is kind of noisy but I love this place. Shrimp are probably big and good but they seem a little pricey.

6107 FM 1960 Rd W, Houston, Texas 77069 281.895.9222 MY REVIEW: Best crawfish I've had in Houston, plus the sell live crawfish at a good price for home boils (their's are so good and reasonable though... why bother). Roasted Dungeness crab very good. Softshell crab also good, but sometimes too small.

6107 FM 1960 Rd W, Houston, Texas 77069 281.895.9222 MY REVIEW: Wonderful seafood. BEST crawfish in Houston (actually even better than the home boils in Louisianna!). I haven't had anythign bad there and have been going for 1 1.2 years, have to drive 45 minutes from my house for the crawfish, but it is worth it!
