St. Pete's Dancing Marlin (CLOSED)

MY REVIEW: Enjoyed the special. Waiter was ok. Bartender Tamara had me staying til close to closing. Great conversation made me feel like someone from town. Met several people. Wish I had had another night to go back.

MY REVIEW: My fiancee and I visited this place during a six-hour stroll of Buffalo Bayou and downtown. Terrific service, reasonable prices, and good food. We had pasta, calamari and fried oysters, all were tasty.

MY REVIEW: This place is awesome! Has quickly become one of our favourites. The ceviche is the best ever. drink prices great before 7. the servers vary in quality. the food is totally worth your time. small menu, but the pasta section is incredible. the atmosphere is hard to beat and beautifully decorated. dress up, dress down, you will feel comfortable either way. good for impressing out of town guests because it's so nice. surprisingly affordable. we like to start with the ceviche and a few drinks here before we begin any evening on the town. walking distance to minute maid/ bayou place/ night life and it's right on the rail line.

MY REVIEW: Great burgers. Ok salads. Wonderful fries. Very attentive wait staff who always seem eager to please. Good location directly off the rail. Great for lunch downtown (never too crowded at lunch) or before the game. Excellent mixed drinks and good beer selection.

MY REVIEW: Visit was prompted searching your database for Minute Maid area restaurant for pre-game meal. Arrived around 4:30PM and enjoyed immediate dedicated service. Best ceviche I have ever had at the lowest price I have ever paid. Grilled Tuna Ceasar salad was great. Will recommend to others and place high on my downtown list. Waiters were eccentric, but one should be prepared for that in museum and theatre districts.

MY REVIEW: Wonderful diverse menu... something for everybody, at affordable prices. Great location right by the PReston Street METRORail stop.

Highly recommended. Don't miss it next time you're downtown late.

MY REVIEW: Where to start... Get the Calamari! And to help wash that down, a mixed drink from the bar is one of the best around. For the two times that I have been to the Pete's in Houston (Dallas' Pete's bigger little brother), i have had the Pete's burger on my first visit and a pizza for my second. Go with a healthy appetite... you wont walk away hungry from these plates!! The mood setting in the place is great for a night out with some friends, or walk to the other room in the bar for a perfect romantic atmosphere (great for one on one convo with a significant other!)

And the wait-staff.. where do they train these guys? Some of the most energetic, charismatic staff, sure to make the most of the evening with quick service with a smile. Thumbs up on St. Pete's and his dancing Marlins...

MY REVIEW: This is a good place to eat. The location will be great once the rail is done, but its frequently empty during this construction we're going through. I don't mind the personal service and less noise.

I like spicy food and this place does many things right. Salads, fish, etc are all well done and the prices are reasonable! Portions are good for the hungry, I never leave wishing I had more food like at some stuffy places. The diablo meal is very HOT, belive the warnings. I was sweating and could not finish it. My father is a nut case who likes pure pepper heat and he finished his, and he loved it.

The waiter provides excellent service when I've been there, and I go there as much as I can, given my limited dining budget.

MY REVIEW: Great catfish, huge portions, fresh baked bread, tasty coleslaw, and great service. Kind of a hassle to get to during this construction but if you have the time it is worth the effort.

MY REVIEW: Atmosphere lacking for the fine dining we desired. Service and quality of food easily made up for first impressions. Waiter provided excellent friendly service and the Sea Bass was fantastic. Great job, glad we made the visit.

MY REVIEW: The food was very mediocre and the place was empty which is too bad because tehy have very large dining areas. My tuna was not of the best quality and its preparation did nothing to improve it
