MY REVIEW: Great service and food. Never crowded or a wait. Draft beer in frosted mugs always has ice in it, a great bargain at .99. Wait staff remembers what we order without asking.

MY REVIEW: Flavored margaritas are average in taste, price ok only during happy hour.

Beef fajitas usually tuff. I tried them (fajitas) several times and always regret ordering them. The other traditional TexMex plates are fair to good.

Service is good, friendly waitstaff. Menu prices are a little on high side, for the quality of food served.

MY REVIEW: Bravos has good margaritas. on my last visit I had three during happy hour. when I recieved the check, I was charged full price for the drinks. I talked with the manager about happy hour. !!! She said the frozen margs. don't count! That is so absurd. They were determined to overcharge me. This is not right. They should honor their happy hour specials. I still can't believe they treated us this way !!!

MY REVIEW: I think this place offers average Mexican food. However, I would give their menudo an excellent rating. Their buffet on the weekends is a great deal and gives you a chance to sample a lot of their food.

MY REVIEW: I love this place!! Me and my husband are even going there for Valentines Day today! Their food is so good and the prices are unbeatable!! -to the lady who complained about them barely being able to speak English- maybe they think you can barely speak Spanish!! Go to I*HOP if you want a southern accent but for great food and service go to Bravos!!

MY REVIEW: Asked to be seated non-smoking which they did but it was right next to smoking section. So I asked and they moved me on other side of room away from it. Still strong smell, but better. However this put me close to a hallway that goes from the dining room, past the kitchen to out back. There was a strong, lnstitutional smell of amonia to mop the hall floor. They need to wait till lunch crowd leaves before mopping with that stuff.

Ordered Texano (sp?) Burrito from lunch menu. Came with refried beans and rice, both good. I don't normally order burritos, but it was filled with fajita meat, ham and charizo. If it were a pizza, it would be named "Meat Lover Special". Lots of meat, pretty tasty. Topped with melted white cheese and chili gravy which is a little different from most Tex-Mex places. Theirs is darker, more red and more bitter than most. I assume that same gravy goes atop enchiladas, tamales, etc. It does add alot of flavor, but also some bitterness. Prices are good. I'll try them again to sample other dishes.

MY REVIEW: I love this place. The food is great for the price you pay. I love their fajitas.... you cant go wrong with those. The place is clean and the staff always friendly. THe manager goes out of his way to make sure people are happy.

The Saturday breakfast buffet is a great idea too.

MY REVIEW: The staff here seems to treat you like family. You receive a warm welcome from everyone each and every time we arive. The service is why we keep returning and the food is very reasonable for the price, infact I sometimes feel guilty that I receive the type of quality I do for the price I pay. My family and I enjoy Bravos @ Hwy 6 in Sugar Land. Its our Home Kitchen away from home. In fact I think I'll be heading over as soon as I complete this review, and I can't wait to bite into some Enchiladas (chicken)....mmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm I got to go now. See you there...Oh and try out the drink called Mechalada with Corona it's to die for.

MY REVIEW: This is one of the best places for menudo you can find. No, its not the traditional type with the "patas de res" in it--it is made with "patas de puerco" which is more like that made here in Texas but nonetheless very good.

One high point is that the tortillas are fresh made not store bought. Also the menudo is well prepared and I have never had bad menudo here. The meat is never overcooked and has always been cleaned properly so that you dont get that "nasty menudo" taste that turns anyone off to menudo-including me.

Ther is nothing more satisfiying on a saturday o sunday morning than a big ol' bowl of menudo with fresh chopped onions and green chiles and lime juice. I'm starting to crave it.

Also if you go and they serve you the chips and salsa, ask the staff for the 'salsa molcajeteada' say it molk-eye-hitee-ada, spicier fresher not for the faint of heart. Be sure to add salt since they always leave it so you can add to taste.

If your up to trying some menudo keep an open mind and have a go at it. Bravos menudo has never let me down. Two sizes so if you are not that hungry order the small one cause you wont finish the large one.

10906 Fuqua St, Houston, Texas 77089  281.484.2697

MY REVIEW: I love this place! It is near my home and the food is good and reasonably priced. Margaritas are $2.75 all day Saturday and up until 5:00 pm Mon-Thur. Felix is my number 1 waiter and Beto is number 2. Both are good. HEB still has coupons, but the coupons in the Southbelt Leader have gone from $5 off a second meal to a free small chili con queso. The website with the 20% coupon has dissapeared. But I will continue to go there.

MY REVIEW: Love the food, love the service (in particular Beto and Felix), the prices are reasonable. Their new buffett on Sat and Sun is excellent. They even have mexican chocolate. mmmmm My husband and I can always count on their fast service.

I have one complain and it is that they no longer offer $5.00 off coupons.

MY REVIEW: Been going here for YEARS! Food is pretty good, although the service generally leaves something to be desired. The main appeal has always been the 20% off coupon, nowhere in the area can beat cheap mexican food! But, for some unknown reason they have done away with the 20% coupon that has been around for 10 plus years... The food is good, but it's not 20% more good!

MY REVIEW: Strong Point: friendly wait staff

Weak Point: The restuarant was dirty. Crumbs and utensils on the floor which should not have been, seeing that it was only a hand full of people present. The food was horrible (TV dinner quality at best) I had the fajitas which where as (tough as rubber with a strange taste) my other half had the burrito dinner which had chili on top the tasted like an .89 cents can of hotdog chili. The rice and beans (refried and charro)where tasteless. With all these things wrong it's know wonder that the waitress kept trying to sell us margaritas.

MY REVIEW: This is my second review of this excellent restaurant. The food is excellent, the margaritas will give you a buzz (they should have happy hour on Friday nights) and the service is the best. There are two young men that will treat you great, Beto and Felix, ask for their tables. As my wife and I walk in the door, they know who we are and before we can sit down, the margaritas are on the way. I love their charro beans and if I forget to tell them to substitute refired for charro, they will always remember for me. On occassion we try other restaurants and remember why we always come back to Bravos.

MY REVIEW: Always great food, great prices, great service. Have eaten here more than once a week for several years until lately. No matter where you sit in "nonsmoking", the smell of second hand smoke from the smoking section is in the air. Until they do away with the smoking section or put the smokers in the back room, we won't be eating at this location. I really miss this place, but I can't stand breathing the second hand smoke.

MY REVIEW: For several years now we have gone every Tuesday night with a group of people; however within the last 6 months the service has deminished. The wait staff stand around and you have to beg them to serve you. Food is still good but when the service is this bad it makes it not worth going. Hate to leave a weekly hang out but we are all in agreement that we have to find another place to go.

MY REVIEW: My family is very pleased with your service, food and pricing. I usually get the shrimp cocktail and it is perfect. In most restuarants I have to add hot sauce and lemon juice to make it just right, but not at your facility. The chips and salsa are great. My families favorite is the queso flamedo w/chorizo, it keeps us coming back every week. Sometimes three times in one weekend. The corn tortillas are great, but the flour could use a little more cook time. The service is great, your staff remembers us when we return. Also, we make sure that we always tip your staff appropriately to make sure we continue to receive great service.

MY REVIEW: the food is ok. the service however, was awful. the waitress came up to our table and asked us to hurry up and order our drinks and food because "it's crowded and i have many other tables." uh ok lady. we then got our queso and our food way before we recieved our tea and dr. pepper. how hard can it be to get an iced tea and a dr. pepper together? hm. not that hard at all. improve on your service bravo's.

MY REVIEW: I read the reviews and most were favorable so me and two co-workers decided to give it a try. Big disappointment. The service was probably the worst I have seen in a long time. The waiter spoke very little English. When we finally got our food, it was cold. Waited 20 minutes for the check. I can not think of one good thing about this place but terrible, terrible.
