MY REVIEW: Its not an exciting place to dine but it is a place to go to get real good food. Egg rolls are just like I like them and they know how to cook meat. I am stuck on one Entree and that is the BBQ beef with noodles and veggies but the noodle soup is as good as it gets anywhere. For just taste it is the best in the area.

MY REVIEW: I decided to give Pho Tau Bay a try. Finally, a place that serves decent Pho in midtown in a quiet and clean environment. Although it's not like mom's Pho, it's the best in midtown (so far). I recommend ordering #12. The condiments are also fresh.

The only miss on my first visit was the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Way too much condensed milk.

I'll definitely be returning to Pho Tau Bay (maybe tomorrow) to eat more Pho, and maybe give the other noodles soups a try!

MY REVIEW: Pho Tau Bay really has remodeled and updated this location within the last year; they even had a rollback in their menu prices!!!! The Midtown Area seems to be dying out but they want to stay. I hope my favorite Vietnamese pho and rice plate place stays a long time. It's always spotlessly clean; the lady cook does every dish so well. The grilled meats are always tasty and tender...the dipping sauce and veggies are so fresh....beef noodle soup is so tasty and they give you lots of meat for $3.95!!!! What a deal....my highest recommendation....go try it soon!! See you there at 11:15 AM at least twice per week.

MY REVIEW: I just moved to Houston, and after having some of the best Pho in the Boston Chinatown, I have to say, Pho Tau Bay is pretty good. The beef noodle soup could use a bit more beef, but the flavor was very good. I ordered take out soup and was pleasently surprised how well they packed up my soup. They even gave me a container of basil, sprouts, lime , and some plumb sauce.

All in all, very good and very cheap.

MY REVIEW: The service at Pho Tau Bay is decent, it's pretty good for busy days and its pretty fast for days it isn't so busy. The Eggrolls are great and the pork and rice is very good. The coconut is pretty good as well. Pho Tau Bay is pretty cheap for the amount of food served to you. yum yum yummmm.

MY REVIEW: Hi, My name is Michael Chen. I eat Vietnamesse food alot. I have been to many Vietnamesse resturaunts i love Pho Tau Bay's egg rolls, they rock, get a bun bo huey. THey have kick ass coconuts to drink out of and they have a fish tank. Its one cool place if you ask me, and the music is great.

MY REVIEW: Resturaunt isn't sparkling clean, but the food outweighs the atmosphere. Damn cheap prices and the food couldn't be better. I've eaten at a number of vietnamese resturaunts in the Veterans Memorial Drive area, and by far Pho Tau Bay has been the best.

They probably have the best eggrolls around town; the fish sauce being superb for dipping.

Great place to eat cheap and recieve a huge quantity of hot fresh steaming vietnamese food!
