The Mongolian BBQ Beef and Pork is my favourite item. Their Beef Lo Mein is inexpensive, plentiful, and greasily delicious, but every time I get it, I have nightmares about kidney stones. Being from the Pacific Northwest, I've been looking for a fantastic Chinese place in the Houston area, and this is it. We are never disappointed with the food or service. The Combination Fried Rice is something we can't seem to pass up even though its always too much food. The 8 Treasure Chicken is one of our favorites, as is General Tsao's Chicken. The Shrimp and Scallops in Garlic Sauce is also very tasty. Yes, not authentic Chinese food (but not much is here in the states). Two thumbs up from us! MY REVIEW: My husband has been eating at this place since the early 80's and I was introduced to it when I was dating my husband almost nine years ago. We take our young daughter with us, and hopefully she will learn to appreciated the wonderful food beyond the chicken and fries in years to come. My husband saw an unfavorable mention in the Houston Dining Guide on 2/19/04 and couldn't believe it. I was taken to the kitchen on our last visit and the kitchen was very clean and in order. MY REVIEW: The "bread and butter" chinese dishes, such as fried rice, lo mein, egg rolls are pretty good. They taste different than most dishes you'll try at any other chinese restaurant in houston however, because they add ginger and garlic to almost every dish. It's decent food, but doesn't taste authentic. I'd give it 2.5 out of 5 stars.
