MY REVIEW: I 've been ordering their great pizza for delivery for a while, so my family and I decided to eat in. What a disappointment, I had a penne dish that was swimming in oil, the chicken tasted weird, it was awful. One of my kids had chicken nuggets, it was the cheapest frozen nuggets out there, my other kid ordered ravioli which you couldn't even see from the mountain of red sauce on top of it. My husband wasn't overly impressed with his veal either. The check was $55, plus tip; very overpriced. The two good things: the bread rolls and the waitress, not enough for us to ever go back there again. I've never written a review before but after reading all the great reviews I felt I had to give my two cents.

MY REVIEW: This place is great! I ordered here when I lived off of Egret Bay because traffic was so bad I never wanted to leave my house but now that I live in Brittany Lakes, I still order from here on a weekly basis. The Ch.Parm. is great!! LOVE the pizza... it is nice to have a place that is more than just regular pizza.

MY REVIEW: I've been going to Angelo's for over 15 years and still love it! They serve the BEST pizza in town from plain cheese to the Angelo's special. The chicken pasta dishes are outstanding, especially the Penne Con Pesto and Penne Nicola. The eggplant parmigiana(sp) is delicious too. And, then there's the Zuppa Angelo a totally awesome soup. Finally, I have to admit...they have the BEST ranch dressing ever!! I'm almost embarrased to admit how much I love it!!!

The wait staff is friendly. In fact, the majority of them have been there since I started going. They take time for you but don't hover. My drink is NEVER empty (and I drink a LOT and fast). Probably my only complaint and this is a minor one...the owners are not overly friendly. It's just a little disappointing that me and my family have been dining here as long as we have and the owners don't even acknowledge that they recognize us. BUT, I don't care about that as long as they keep serving up the GREAT food.

MY REVIEW: Great food at reasonable prices. They have a great kids menu, and we love the trivia cards that are on the tables. The homemade bread they bring to all the tables is made fresh in he restaurant everyday. WOW! My favorite is the Sunday Brunch, you can try all the favorite menu items, and the desserts are delicious!

MY REVIEW: the chicken dishes we ordered were superb! they had spinach and ham and cheese inside with a very nice marsala sauce outside. the service was very good also! the salad was nice but could be improved with other types of lettuce besides iceberg. they accept the entertainment card, we will back back to sample more good stuff!!

MY REVIEW: I order from Angelo's every time I am in Webster (which is every weekend lately), I have never been disappointed. Everything I have tried has been of an excellent quality and taste and at reasonable prices. Their delivery times never take as long as they say and the food is always hot when I get it! Once they forgot to add a tiramsu (the best!) to my order and when I called about it they brought one right out too me and didn't charge me! It is one of the best Italian restaurants around, I highly suggest it!

MY REVIEW: Best Italian Food Ever!!! This is a great restaurant. When we want comfort food at home, they deliver to League City!!! How Great Is That??? I always get the Chicken Melanzane (chicken breast topped with eggplant & smothered in mozzerella & marina with tons of mushrooms) - it is to die for & you get free bread & spaghetti on the side. . My husband orderes the Antipasto Salad & Bacon Calzone & my son orders the kids chicken tenders with curley fries. There is something for everyone here. The food is just amazing. I am going to try and copy the Antipasto Salad tonight, but I'm sure I won't do justice. Great wine in the restaurant also. THANKS ANGELO'S!

Pros: They Deliver

MY REVIEW: I've only eaten here for lunch, but have never been disappointed. The food is delicious; it is served quickly, but still hot and fresh, and the prices are extremely reasonable. The wait staff is attentive, even when they're busy. All in all, a very good dining experience!

MY REVIEW: They are great and the food is wonderful. We (the family) have eaten there so many times and we always leave happy and full. And when I am pressed for dinner guess what.... THEY DELIVER. The kids love the pizza and the small is just right for one little person. The soup Angelo is my favorite. If you want a great dinner out with the family this is the place....Happy Dining

MY REVIEW: We love their food! It is some of the best Italian in all of Clear Lake.

Often we order their delivery pizza. My husband loves the Pepperoni and Sausage pizza and I the Caprina (spinch, garlic, feta) pizza. And they don't mind if I request to add artichokes hearts either. It is simple beautiful with lots of herbs and spices. The favor... oh I could rave about it for days. Sure... I can find a cheaper delivery pizza, but they now all lack in quality.

My favorite when I dine in is the eggplant parmigiana. I don't know where that person is eating who said they were dirty. Oh and try their Tira Misu... yummy!

Happy dining!

MY REVIEW: This was our first time visiting this restaurant. The actual building seems really small when you first see it, but it's relatively nice on the inside. The waitstaff we dealt with was nice, but not very personable. My husband had the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer, and really loved them. I had soup (I forget what it's called, but it's the type without mushrooms. There's only 2 types of soups.) The soup was very good.

Our meals were good, but nothing to write home about. My husband got the linguine that had muscles and other seafood in it. He liked it, but complained that it was very watery. I had the manicotti. I liked it, but the sauce was really tangy. My biggest complaint is that the only bread we were served came before our drinks did, and it was only 3 pieces of bread for the 2 of us. I thought we'd get a refill, but we didn't.

All in all, a good place, and we'd go back again when and if my husband has a craving for the mushrooms.

MY REVIEW: Forget the two-for-one specials at D*ominos and the other chains. This is the best pizza in the Clear Lake area. Wonderful NY-style crust, just the right amount of sauce and cheese, and your favorite toppings. Try the Angelo's Special pizzas, meat or veggie, for a real treat.

Meatball sandwiches are authentic and hearty. Lunch specials a good deal. And they deliver!

MY REVIEW: I don't eat at Angelo's very often but everytime I do I wonder why I don't eat there more often. Everything I've had there has been good, and I especially like the pizzas and the marinara sauce. The ambiance is comfortable and appealing, the staff friendly, and the service very good. Prices are reasonable.

MY REVIEW: We ordered delivery pizza from this place and it was great. Once we actually dined in and had a pasta dish. It was good but the people behind us were seated 10 minutes after us and they had their order taken first. I'd go back though, once they realized their mistake they made sure they delivered our food quickly. Nice atmosphere.

MY REVIEW: Not sure why anyone would rave about this place. Every other Italian restaurant in the area is better. It was dirty on both of my visits. The food was edible, but not substantially different from what you might purchase frozen from S*am's Club. Prices are about average for a chain Italian eatery.

MY REVIEW: The marinara sauce is some of the best in town. An excellent restaurant with very reasonable prices, especially at lunch. Try the lasagna or chicken parmesan.

It's at the end of a strip center on Bay Area, so the scenery is not too exciting. But the interior is nice and well kept.

MY REVIEW: I've been going to Angelo's since they opened the doors.I would drive 20 miles to have their Pizza, lucky that I don't have to.Chicken Fetticina Alfredo is the best. Why order that conveyor belt pizza from the chains when for the same money have a real pizza.

MY REVIEW: Very good Italian--but the best Fettucine Alfredo in town!!Has been the only dish I went for but I tried the chicken Menezole,I think thats the spelling , and its my second favorite dish. Prices are reasonable and service is great..Hey, try the stuffed mushroom appetizer, its a meal in itself.

MY REVIEW: The calzones here are very craveable and reasonably priced, plenty of cheese but not greasy. The fried calamari appetizer is excellent, as good as I've had anywhere: always fresh and hot with the batter light and crisp. The Italian sausage they use in the pizzas, lasagna, etc. is very tasty as is the marinara sauce that accompanies many dishes.

The Sunday brunch is very good although there's a big emphasis on chicken - but the chicken in its many forms is inevitably tasty so I can't complain too much. I was underwhelmed by the accompanying dessert buffet; I sampled several, and the only one that really stood out was the tres leches cake. They have different desserts on weekdays but I have not tried any of those yet.

Good service and rarely crowded. We're starting to make Angelo's a routine; the calzones seem to be habit-forming.

MY REVIEW: We have been eating at Angelo's for over 10 years now....usually about once a month or so, and we have always been pleased with our meals. The bread is awesome, and a dinner salad comes with the meal. (I hate going to Italian restaurants where you have to pay extra for a dinner salad with your meal.) You get large portions here and the prices are very reasonable. It is a quiet, casual family-run business, and we always get good service here. The best part is....we can go on Friday or Saturday night and never have to wait for a table!

MY REVIEW: I love Angelo's! The Pizza is the best in Houston, and I know pizza. It can be a bit greasy at times, but any good pizza is. There rolls are great. My husband thought the calzones were a bit too cheesy, but my best friend loves their chicken alfredo. We've always had good service and the quality and price keeps us coming back.

MY REVIEW: I really enjoy Angelo's--either as a lunchtime setting or after sunset. Prices are pleasantly reasonable, and I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a nice dining experience. I love the bread! I would definately rate it a 4-star, due to just a little lack of ambiance.
