MY REVIEW: I highly recommend this place for cakes. If you go, ask for the "tres leches" with fresh strawberry center filling. For those of you who don't know what that is, the translation is three milks. It's not your regular cake texture. It is a bit more moist but it is delicious. You have to try it. They are not too moist or too dry and their frosting is light and cool. I order all my cakes from this location for parties or gatherings. I never have any cake leftover. It is absolutely delicious.

MY REVIEW: My good friend here in Baton Rouge always brings my family some pan dulce when he makes frequent trips to Houston. His generosity is a big order, so I can share with my four daughters and grand kids. Every single treat is an award winning item, and brings our family a special joy. The galletas, conchas, churros, empanadas, plus the bread and bolillos are the best I ever had. Growing up in Los Angeles I know whats' good. Please keep up the good work, you guys are one of the few operations that still put pride, art and craftsmanship in waht you do. God Bless

MY REVIEW: My colleagues and I decided to dodge Shipley's and come here instead to try out what this bakery had to offer for breakfast. What a selection! Everything was very tasty, and very inexpensive. We tried pretty much 80% of their breakfast treats, and I regret not knowing what their names are to recommend them. They also have chocolate covered strawberries. They were cheap, and the strawberries were huge, although they left the leaves on the strawberries under all that chocolate. Their tres leches are the best!

MY REVIEW: The Tres Leches is really good. Stick to that. The other cakes are not so good.
The rest of the baked goods are, however, phenomenal!

MY REVIEW: The new bakery on the Gulf Frwy is wonderful!!! I used to hate going to their old location because it was always crowded, but I had to go at least three times a month (especially during the winter)to buy bread because everything is so good there. Now I enjoy going more often.

MY REVIEW: On June, I had the opportunity to try the famous "TRES LECHES" whip cream and strawberries on top. The taste was delicious, fresh and affordable. Since that day I'm one of the clientele.

MY REVIEW: I went at the start of the year to see what everyone was bragging about. I was totally dissapointed, there was no bread in the shelfs, and the bread that I did end up buying went hard the following day. I been to better Bakery's the Mom and Pop ones and I will definetely keep going to those family owened ones anytime.

MY REVIEW: I live in Austin and there are some key eateries I miss about Houston..... notably Arandas bakery!! My folks often send me back to Austin with a bag or two of these fresh goodies! The prices are extremely good!
The one off Airline is the one I go to and they make the best gingerbread "piggy's".... they are half cake half cookie! Perfect with coffee! Also, there fresh bolillo breads are worth waiting for and occasionally "fighting" for ... believe me... you may see people bullying there way to get these fresh from the oven delights!
