MY REVIEW: The bread is always fresh and tastes really good. The old lady behind the counter was rude and has major attitude, though like she was annoyed that a customer came in. Then, when I asked if she could give me fresh-from-the-oven bread (pointing to bread which you could see behind the counter), she said "which one...they're all bread". If it weren't for the excellent tasting bread, I will never come back.

MY REVIEW: This bakery has fantastic pan de sal. It's best to go in the afternoons around 2pm when it's hot and fresh. They are closed on Monday, I believe. I have to say that the last time I was in Houston was during Holy Week. They must have closed for the whole week cause every time I went (during the business hours posted) they were closed. I really wish they had put up a sign stating they would be closed the whole week so I wouldn't have gone back so many times. I never got my delicious pan de sal. :(

Anyway, they are worth it and they have other stuff there besides bakery items. Reminds me of home. :)

MY REVIEW: This is the place to go for Hot Pandesal and Pan De Bara. They also sell Selecta Ice Cream and if you like to cook Visayan soup called "Cadios", they sell the beans at their frozen section. Lot of other filipino delicacies. Owners are friendly and nice.
