MY REVIEW: 12120 FM 1960 @ Eldridge....this location wasn't listed on "drop down" but here goes! Food is fine. Service is non existent! This is the 2nd time in a month...I was hoping it would be different this time. Called in order to go. Girl answered "Hello". I said, Is this Schlotzsky's? She said, Oh, Yeah. Hold a minute. She came back on and I asked for a Large Turkey Bacon Club to go. She said ok, what time will you be here. I told her and she hung up. Didn't ask for my name?. When I showed up at the appointed time...I stood around for a minute or so, waiting to be greeted. Finally the one other customer in the place hollered from his table: "GIRLS" Two females came laughing to the front counter. I told them I had called in an order to go. One rang it up while the other one walked to the workcounter behind her to get the bag with my sandwich. Didn't ask if I wanted chips, drink, cookie. No smile for me. Not a pleasant experience. As I said earlier...the food tastes good, but don't go there expecting any service.

MY REVIEW: My first time at this location, so I ordered a Rueben to go (not phone-in). My sandwich was ready quick, so the wait was short, which was nice. They were just getting busy with the Sunday after-church crowd. Friendly staff, despite being the number of dine-n and take-out customers. Will plan to return again.

MY REVIEW: I've been disappointed with this location recently. The cashier that's worked here forever is still very nice, courteous and helpful but it seems they can't keep good kitchen help. They're so slow and then don't get your order correct. I've also noticed that they seem to be trying to save money by cutting down on the amount of ingredients on your sandwich. They're awfully skinny these days. They took away all the salads in the case and the soup too. You have to ask for soup which makes me think it's not fresh made any more.

MY REVIEW: I always get great service and the sandwich's are always excellent. I usually get an original and a turkey and am always happy with the product and service. I will continue to make this my first choice when i want a good sandwich.

MY REVIEW: I have only visited this location a few times, but, have visited a few others. I have not been disappointed. The food is served hot. The restaurant is small, but, the service is good.

MY REVIEW: Why can't all the locations be as good as this one? See my review of the Gulf Freeway location. The League City location is great but they often make mistakes (i.e.- I ask for no lettuce and they put lettuce all over it) but the assistant manager, Debbie, comped it for me and they have got it right ever since then. Hell, I might go there in just a bit now that I think about it!

MY REVIEW: I grew up here (my first job was at the James' C*oney Island next door) and I hate to admit that this location pales in comparison to the other ones I have eaten at. The ones on Westheimer and the one here in League City, where I currently reside, are a million times better. The staff at the Gulf Frw location tends to be skimpy on the meat.

MY REVIEW: The food is always great. I love the pizzas but the sandwiches are my favorite. You can't beat schlotsky's bread. Everyone is always very friendly. The owner, who is always here during the day, is wonderful. She is always in a great mood, bubbly and friendly to everyone.

MY REVIEW: We just love Schlotzsky's. After moving to West U area we were really glad to find one pretty close by. Love their BBQ chicken pizaa and the sandwiches. A place to sit and talk and just unwind after a hectic day.

The wait staff were fast but nothing special about their behavior.

A good place to visit if you feel like having awesome sandwiches and pizaas

MY REVIEW: The sandwiches and service at this location are superb!!! It's too bad we do not have a Schlotzsky's Deli in Galveston or closer to the island. We are always wanting to eat a Schlotzsky's sandwich; however, the drive is too inconvenient to go as frequently as we would like. PLEASE BUILD A FRANCHISE IN GALVESTON, TEXAS!!!!

MY REVIEW: Every now and then I get an urge for Schlotzky's, I enjoy some of their new crostini's (can be a bit greasy) and the kids like their personal pizza's. I truly believe this franchise goes out of their way to hire non-responsive, rude, curt, and just plain unfriendly people. Today my daughter and I experienced the worst service. The cashier/order taker did not say one word to us, never looked at us, and never smiled. We made it a point to say "have a nice day" to him and he just looked at us with this moronic stare - which is exactly what we expected, lol. A true Oblivion. The crostini, which as I already mentioned can be a little greasy, was totally saturated in oil. My daughter's pizza was slick with oil and cold to boot. We blotted everything as best we could and then decided to forget it and eat somewhere else. We tried to express our disappointment, however, we could not find anyone willing to come to the front who spoke English. Grrrrr.

MY REVIEW: I am definitely in agreement with everyone that says that the customer service here "STINKS". Not only are they rude and unfriendly, they are incompetent, unconcerned and slow. Since this location is close to my job, its easier to go here at lunchtime. Why do I do it?

I am definitely a Schlotsky's lover. I visited the one in my hometown prior to relocating to Houston. I never had a problem with service there...

This is my second time visiting this location and the second time I received rude service. The cashier of course didnt offer a hello and proceeded to take my order--of course forgetting to ask me if i wanted to dine in or carry out.. If I say,"Please add cheese"--that means add it..That doesn't mean say are you sure you want to do that. Hmmmm...if I request it, it means that is something I have previously thought about.

The sandwich makers were slow and looked bustled as they semi-argued over my food(in their language--mind you) about what to put on particular orders. If you are in the process of training (unsure if this is the case).

WHen I arrived back to the office, the bottom of my sandwich was soggy...what the heck?! You dont pay $6 for a sandwich ALONE to get a soggy bottom.

I'm not impressed with the service here..."hated it" and won't be returning. Love Schlotsky's...hate this location! Don't visit the 290 location.

MY REVIEW: I was extremely disappointed in my Schlotzsky's visit today. I visit Schlotzsky's at least once or twice a week. I was very disappointed in the service and quality of food from my visit today.

In the past I have usually been happy with the speedy arrival of my sandwich and the friendly staff. Today was an entirely different occasion. I arrived at Schlotzky's at about 12:15 for lunch. Their were two people in front of me. The order taker received a call-in order. Instead of putting the caller on hold and serving the customers ALREADY in front of him, he proceeded to take a call-in order, which took several minutes. Meanwhile the line is forming. The order taker did not offer me a greeting or seemed concerned.

After ordering my meal, I took a seat in front of the pickup window and proceeded to wait. Apparently there was not enough help. The ordertaker came to the "sandwich-making" area several times, while customers were waiting at the register.

I waited 24 minutes for ONE sandwich. When I finally received my sandwich, there was no apology for the delay, a smile, thank-you or invitation to return. When I returned to my job, I found that my sandwich had entirely too much mustard and was very sloppy.

The purpose of my getting my lunch to go was so I could return to work, eat my sandwich in a timely matter.

The low quality of the sandwich and rude staff of this location will prompt me not to return to the 290 location.
