MY REVIEW: Meet a friend for happy hour and dinner. I arrived at 3:30 p.m. and my friend was already there at the bar. She ordered a margarita on the rocks with Grand Marnier and said it was so watered down that it was not worth the $8 she paid for it. The chips and salsa reminded me of something I would buy at the grocery store (and that is not a compliment). The host was also the waiter and the bartender (maybe it was just too early in the day??) and he was great at sneaking up behind us and interrupting our conversation to ask if we were ready to order (as it did so about 4 times and I had no idea he was behind me . . . creepy). I had a beer and when we finished our drinks, we left and went to Ba*ja B*erryhill because we were just not impressed. I can't comment on the food, but the service was lousy and the $8 margarita was, too. We won't be returning for fear of being disappointed . . . again.

MY REVIEW: My wife and I tried Taco Milagro for the first time Sunday night, I hate and have never put a negative comment on the net about a restaurant but this was the worst dining experience I have ever experienced. We arrived at 7:30, we informed the waiter it was our time to Taco Milagro, he gave us the menu's and stood over us waiting for our order, i explained to him it would take a few minutes to look over the menu, he left and was back within 1 minute and stood over us again, being rushed we ordered a pound of beef fajitas, he came back within 5 minutes with our order. I would say it was closer to a 1/2 pound but that was'nt a big deal, the problem was the rice and beans were cold, the fajitas were bland, we had to ask for silverware, which he brought out, my wife and i tried sharing our dinner off of 1 plate but it just was'nt working so we ask for a 2nd plate, it was'nt 5 minutes before the waiter was back asking if we could pay for our meal, my wife has'nt even finished 1/2 her fajita and he picked her plate up and said you are finished are'nt you. We were tired of being pushed so we ask for a to go box, I figured after paying $30.00 for our dinner which I commented earlier was bland and cold, we have 3 kids that might eat it, if not maybe our 2 dogs would enjoy it, as we were leaving I noticed they were open until 9:00. We thought maybe they close at 8:00 and that was the reason we were being rushed, i went back in and asked the manager why we were being pushed out, his answer was, "we want to close early and getg home". I wish they would have been honest and told us when we walked in the front door. The owner of this restaurant should do something quick, for a start, dump the manager and that waiter. There are to many excellent Mexican Restaurants in the Houston area to waste a trip to Taco Milagro.

MY REVIEW: I tried their new cheese balls with avacado and they were outstanding. My fiance tried their Hurricane and for the price was worth it. We found out from the manager that evening that 90% of their drinks are made with premium liqours. It was the best Hurricane my wife has had in the city. Casey was our server and was very attentive and helpful. We will be returning.

MY REVIEW: I tried Taco Milagro Baybrook once again, and found a completely different enviroment. I found that they had added a compliment of new drinks to the store. A yound lady whom was the manager asked if she could help with a drink order. I asked her about the new drinks and what she would recommend. She asked if i wanted strong or fruity. I told her strong. She recommended the Perfect Margarita. The name is just right, it was the best rita I have had in quite some time. It is smooth and just perfect. The service was also excellent. Everyone went out of their way to make me feel like a guest and not a customer. I have recommended this restaurant to all of my family memebers and friends. They are really turning things around there.

MY REVIEW: Extremely clean restaurant and restrooms with a great atmosphere and a waiters that are very attentive. The Fish Tacos are delicious and served with rice and beans. Nice assortment of salsa's to choose from on the salsa bar. The coffee is fresh. I highly recommend this restaurant - great food, excellent prices and easy access on and off hwy 45 and Bay Area Blvd.

MY REVIEW: My first visit. We started with the Milagro margaritas (on the rocks), which were freshly made by the bartender and excellent. We then sampled some of the chips and salsa from the salsa bar. The chips were decent, heated under some heat lamps, and they had I think 7 salsa choices from the bar. Nothing at the heat level I like, but a fairly good selection, including chipotle, serrano, guajillo, and mango. After this, we sampled the Casita margaritas (house margaritas, pre-mixed) and they were awful. No tequila taste at all. Spend an extra dollar and get the Milagro. My wife got the guacamole, which was good but a small portion for the price, and tortilla soup, which tasted of lime juice and chipotle (ok). I'd like to try some other menu items next time (chorizo burger?). Nice atmosphere outside with the fountains.

MY REVIEW: Excellent Tex-Mex food. Highly recommended. Try the spectacular queso dip made with creamy white chihuahua cheese (from the country, not the dog)...and if you want a little more kick to it, add chorizo (Mexican sausage). My fav meal is the "Puerco Coloradito" with simmered pork and cheese enchiladas. Don't forget to save room for some Mexican chocolate pie! Great sangria too.

We had great service and good fresh food, no complaints. Best chile con queso dip I've had so far in Houston!

MY REVIEW: I came for lunch and it was kinda slow I guess for a monday but what do I know I am in healthcare. We were seated and the waiter took our order the manager came by and sked if we had any question about the menu that he would be glad to answer any of them. Food was very good service was okay but I noticed that that smae manager when by every table and talked to them to see if every thing was alright. That manager was really great at his job he made you feel not like a customer but a guest at his own restaurant, ask for Jason and he will make you time there a great time there. Oh by the way the fish tacos are to die for.

MY REVIEW: Today was the first time I had visited this Taco Milagro. I took my elderly mother and the staff could not have been nicer, opening a closer door so she could enter with ease with her walker. The food and service were both excellent. She had a lunch special of a chicken tostada with tortilla soup. I had grilled fish tacos, and we enjoyed both of them. We will be back.

MY REVIEW: We arrived about 6:30 PM and since it was the first day that temps were below 90, most of the diners were eating outside. We chose to eat inside and were the only people in the dining room. It took a few minutes to even be greeted and seated and from the other reviews, this seems to be an ongoing problem at this location. The whole restaurant staff seemed disorganized. We order cocktails and some queso. Cocktails came quickly but the queso took quite awhile. We ordered dinner and were enjoying our drinks. We were busy visiting about our days and did notice that it was taking awhile to get our food. Our waitress was attentive but not intrusive, but eventually apologetic as it took more than 45 minutes to get our meal. When the food was finally brought to our table, it was delivered by a man who might have been the manager. He gave us $10 worth of gift tokens for our next visit and then took 50% off our tab! The food was very good and fresh but if you're looking for a quick meal, this isn't the place.

MY REVIEW: I tried Taco Milagro Clear Lake again and I'm still disappointed. The food was good. I love their sweet potato enchiladas! The service was better than the last time I went but it was still slow. I prefer the original TM on Kirby at Westheimer. In the time it took to get our drinks at the Clear Lake TM I could have ordered my meal, gotten my chips (with all the salsas I like) and already been siiting outside drinking a margarita at the Kirby location. Not only that, but the prices are 2-3 dollars more per entree (plus you need to add tip). Why didn't they keep it self-serve like the original? Don't mess with success!

MY REVIEW: GO TO L*UPE's!! That's what we should have done. We were told that Taco Milagro was the best Clear Lake has to offer. I just didn't realized that meant stale chips, sloppy servers, and overpriced Taco B*ell grade Mexican food. I had the cheese enchiladas and my wife had the chicken quesadillas. I must say that her quesadillas were about a B. My enchiladas were inedible. The rice surely came from a box. And to think of all the delicious food we could have had if we drove another 1/4 mile down Bay Area to L*upe Tortilla's...for the same price. Our service was superbe, with a smile and everything. They even opened the door for us on our way out the door. At least we left on a high note.

MY REVIEW: I have been to this restaurant a couple of times, at first the service wasn't so great but the last few times they've been wonderful! I love the foods, no globby processed cheese, natural flavors, so many restaurants are getting away from the clean flavors of foods. I can get Sysco Dist. food anywhere, this food tasted like some one actually took the time to cook not just zip open a precooked bag. If you've never tried the refried black beans - do it!

MY REVIEW: I ordered the carnitas and they were terrible. There was so much fat on the meat I could only eat half and it was over cooked and dry. The refried black beans were good and kept me from leaving the place hungry.

MY REVIEW: The good:

Festive atmosphere, not very crowded on a Friday early evening. Decent service.

The bad:

Our tacos were tasteless. They were just bland. My wife had carnitas and I has some sort of beef fajita tacos. There just wasn't anything special about them - no flavor. C*hipotle has better, more flavorful tacos for less.
