MY REVIEW: We live close to this restaurant and decided to give it a try. While we were a little hesitant about it, since there were only two other tables of people at 7 on a Saturday night, we don't regret eating here. We started with the queso which was nothing out of the ordinary but good, nonetheless. I had the chicken enchiladas blancas. They were quite good and reasonably priced at less than $7 for two. My wife got the combination fajitas. They were cheap (only $10) and the serving size was huge. In my wife's words, "they were very good. The chicken was phenomenal!"
The service was also good and prompt. We will definitely come here again and would recommend it to friends.

MY REVIEW: This place has the best civiche! Not many mexican food resturants serve civiche that is fish, they only serve shrimp. Prices are good and they have a great lunch menu. I have been going here for 10 years and sometimes the service is good and sometimes it's not. All in all everything I have had from here has been good. The quail are very good too. Also something you dont see at many mexican resturants. If you like civiche this is the place to get it from!

MY REVIEW: What strong points? Absolutely the worst Mexican food with even poorer service that I can ever recall.
After waiting well over 30 minutes, one entree arrived cold while the fajitas were dried out and may have been cut from an old shoe sole. Had to ask for the sides which were supposed to have come with the entrees. The charro beans were more like watery tasteless dish water although several beans were actually found. This place makes Ta*o Bel*e look like a 5 star restaurant. There are 856 Mexican restaurants listed on this site. I have to believe that 855 of them are better than this place.

MY REVIEW: LOVE IT!!!!! My co-worker and I eat there every single solitary Tuesday. The food is reasonably priced and the wait staff is attentive without being overbearing. I love their tacos al carbon.

MY REVIEW: I love this location, it's way better than the one by Memorial City Mall. The service is great, the food is fantastic, good prices, a good place to bring the family. I recommend the Camarones Cazadores or the Parrillada! It's better than those big fancy Mexican Restaurants

MY REVIEW: This is one of those places where all things are not equal. Prior to today, I have always had wonderful cheese enchiladas, very good tamales, and some nice salads. Today I ventures into Fajitas, which was a mistake. The plate was overload with onions and the meat, what little there was, was not what I considerate fajita steak but more like meat you would find on a Philly Cheese. Very thinly sliced, dry and flavorless. The price was in line with many places that serve much, much better Fajitas, I was very disappointed.
The service has always been good, the location is clean but parking can be a problem during lunch.

MY REVIEW: The lunch specials are reasonably priced but the food is pretty mediocre. The fajitas were overcooked and didn't come with cheese. The rice and beans were ok but a little bland. They did refill our drinks frequently though, and the food came quickly.

MY REVIEW: Great family restaurant! We go all the time with our kids and neighbors and have never been disappointed. I crave their cheese enchiladas. I like the no frills atmosphere and I have never had a problem with the service.

MY REVIEW: we go here about once a week. My husband is more a fan of Mexican food, I'm not especially. The great thing is you can get a good salad (the deluxe salad) or soup and eat light. Good queso, chips.

MY REVIEW: Really love this neighborhood Mex joint. Great, friendly service. Their tortilla chips always remain light, cripsy, and never seem smothered in grease. Love the salsas too (especially the one served at room termperature).
Best thing on the menu--the "Rico Dinner." It includes a queso puff, a hardshell taco (filled with ground beef), one cheese enchilada, and a taco carbon (both the enchilada and the taco carbon are covered in their delicious, cheesy, enchilada sauce).
Was kind of dissapointed by the frozen margarita (have had better at, say, C*huy's, P*appasitos, and E*scalantes); however, other "cantina" items are just fine.
Prices very reasonable for the amount and quality of the cuisine. Will be going back time and time again.

MY REVIEW: WEll I tried this because it is close to my new job. Lots of people. Why I have no clue? This was the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten. It was all very bland. Won't be back.

MY REVIEW: Service for regulars is very good. Better than the other Mexican restaurants in the Spring Branch area. Their flan is superb. We try different dishes with each visit and so far have not found a bad dish. Portions are slightly too large for this old couple.

MY REVIEW: The food was great!! The prices were reasonable. But this place still allows smoking in their bar. There are two open windows in the foyer that open into the bar. You are assaulted by stale smoke when you enter the place!! It is truly disgusting. I probably won't go back.
