MY REVIEW: I visit Amal's Bakery whenever I fly in from Dallas and though I didn't know Ferial and George (the couple who owns this bakery) they were warm and friendly to me and my daughters. Also, I have a cousin who comes in from Austin just to buy their DELICIOUS fresh made bread. And I am unfamiliar with the name but they take these dough balls and flatten them and then put either cheese or meat or something called zautar or something similar to that. I recommend that to anyone becauseA) They make it when you order it, not before
B) It's made right in front of you
C) It's absolutely delicious!!! and if you order a lot you can take them home and freeze them and when you have the munchies you can just pop them in the microwave or for a fresher taste to oven (how convenient)
Well I'm glad I found out about this restaurant and I hope you will also go try it.
(Oh..the only part I didn't like was the coffee. If you're like me and drink American coffee with cream and sugar and the whole nine yards then DO NOT try the black coffee. It's soooo bitter but all the arabs seem to like it so I guess if you're use to it try it but if not...be careful and don't take a big gulp all at once like I did.)

MY REVIEW: The restaurant made me feel like me and my wife were back in Lebanon. The service was friendly, the meat pies were the best I've ever had and it was inexpensive. I will definitely reccomend it o and of my fellow Arabs or anyone who wants to have a delicious Mediterranean breakfast, lunch or dinner!
(p.s. You have to try the hummous. It's made from scratch and tastes great. Also, George (co-owner and baker) makes fresh bread from a fire wood oven right in front of you and it is absolutely delicious.)
