MY REVIEW: I ALWAYS used these guys (for like 5 years or so) until recently. They had FAST delivery and GREAT food. Somehow that all changed. I wonder if they have been bought by someone else or changed ownership? I had terrible experiences the last few times I ordered from them. 1. WRONG pizza delivered and told it was too late at night to correct the problem but that I still had to pay (I turned him and the wrong pizza away at the door.) 2. Driver took a little over an hour to arrive, (on a Wednesday night for heaven's sake!) then he didn't have any change. 3. (and this will rile you PC types I'm sure) UTTERLY unintelligible phone answering personnel. I have grown tired of repeating my order 6 times only to have it then parroted back WRONG.
SO...
Sadly, I no longer use Texas Pizza. Its a shame too because they have THE best pizza in the area, its just impossible to get it timely, correct or even at all anymore.

MY REVIEW: Just stick to the pizza and you can't go wrong. They have a wonderful array of toppings that the larger chains don't offer and the delivery guys are super speedy. The rest of the stuff on the menu is really hit & miss from my experience.

MY REVIEW: My husband and I think that Texas Pizza on Richmond is the best delivered pizza in the midtown area. We have ordered the meat supreme pizza and have never been disappointed - an abundance of toppings with a light touch of sauce. Both the thin and regular crusts are heavenly. The delivery is fast, usually within 30 minutes on Friday and Saturday nights. Our neighbors across the street always order from this pizzaria and were constantly raving about all the fresh ingredients on the pizzas. Then one evening last month we were playing cards at their house and they ordered a couple of pizzas. Ever since that night, we have been loyal Texas Pizza fans. So far, neither our neighbors or we have had any of the problems mentioned in the previous postings regarding the lack of service that was received from the Winrock location. Too bad the service is below standards at the Winrock location, because my office is close by and I would use them for our weekly pizza office meetings if they were more service oriented. But I am not willing to take a chance based on what I've read in the prior postings!

MY REVIEW: The pizza is great. Their quality of meat changes sometimes and once they over cooked it. I love their gyros, and their fries. The pasta is pretty good too, only had it once. The Margurita Pizza is fantastic. Depending on who answers the phone customer service can be fair to awful. I sometimes get the impression that they are not interested in what I have to say, or in ensuring they have the correct info. Scale of 1-10 I would give them a 6. Fast delivery, good taste, varying quality and undependable customer service. If they work on improving their reputation they should pay more attention to what customers have to say and their concerns.

MY REVIEW: Buyer beware. I always found this an okay place to order from. Our regular order was a hamburger (okay-priced as it comes with a drink), fries (prettty okay), chicken tenders (pretty over-priced), and once each, spaghetti and chicken paremesan (not very good), a slice of carrot cake and a slice of chocolate cake. Well, this evening we decided to order just a slice of carrot cake and two chocolate cakes. When we recived the order we received the carrot cake, along with two chocolate cheesecakes, which i do not care for; so, i phoned them back. The lady who has always taken our orders in the past and for the most part has been not bad to deal with, albeit somewhat 'slow' (and i am not referring to speed), began arguing with me telling me that she had packed the order herself, so then i thought she sounded pretty convinced, and since i too was convinced that what i was holding in my hand was not what we normally order i thought, maybe she is confusing me with someone else or maybe even got our orders mixed up. Anyway she kept arguing with me and telling me that we had gotten chocolate cake and i kept telling her, yes, but we got chocolate CHEESECAKE which your menu does not even specify you have, so she says "that is what we were sent" (?) which at first confused ME, but then later I think she meant that is what they were sold. So, i said, but why did you send it to me? Normally we get the real chocolate cake, and she says "that is what you got (?!?) and I said "NO, THAT IS NOT 'what i got', in fact, both containers have written on them 'Choc. Chs Ck'". So, she let go of the phone and I heard her call the driver to come pick up the order and she told him she was going to refund my money. When driver came by, he asked what happened and i told him. Now, in recent times i think my expectations of receiving consistent good service has diminished, but i never expected what he told me. He said: "I have lived here nine years and nobody provides customer service". Wow, what a concept. No customer service. Cool. Needless to say, they lost my business. Buy/order at your own risk.
