MY REVIEW: A co-worker introduced me to this place. We go at least twice a month for lunch. It's reasonably priced & everything is fresh & tastes great!

MY REVIEW: Many years ago a friend introduced me to PHO. I didn't know what it was, how it tasted and what went into it. I was impressed and my taste buds were happy. From there after I tried Pho at different locations. Sometimes I'd take it to go and eat it back at my office. I tried Pho Saigon one day. It's close to my home and had been there forever -- just never knew what was inside the place until then. A small quaint little place, tucked in the corner of a shopping center. When you walk in you notice the aroma of Vietnamese food cooking. Small tables. Nothing to really be impressed by. I ordered Pho Beef Noodle Soup and an order of Fresh Spring Rolls. My taste buds were alive again. My sense of smell, sense of sight, and sense of taste were very pleased. The veggies were fresh, the meat was not tough or under cooked and the spring rolls were perfect and huge! I love going there to eat me a big bowl of Pho. I go there to get away and normally go alone. It's my little secret place away from the world.

The Pho is awesome! You won't be dissapointed!

MY REVIEW: So I'm always on the lookout for a good Pho restaurant. Since I've moved to Sugar Land I wanted to find something close. When I walked into this restaurant I saw a print of a Houston magazine mounted on the wall with the word's "Voted the best pho by readers". With that expectation I ordered the combination pho. If you've ever had pho you know that the beef broth is what defines the pho. When I tasted my broth it lacked the deep flavors I'm used to and perhaps had a bit too much of one of the spices. The beef tripe tasted a bit strong when it shouldn't have a taste at all. To sum it up it was not the best pho I've ever tasted. I'm not sure who voted for this chain but I'm sure they're not regular pho eaters. Looks like I'm sticking to my regular hole and definitely won't be coming back.

MY REVIEW: The service was good. Food came out quickly. Place is clean. I had the bun bo hue and egg roll. Egg roll is good and nice size. Bun bo hue came out without chili but you can add the chili yourself so you can adjust to your own liking which is good. I have had bun bo hue which was too spicy for me to eat. As far as the broth, I had better somewhere else. Mine needs a little bit more vermicelli. I give it 3 out of 5.

MY REVIEW: Kristine, I totally agreed with you about the recent service. I just ordered a noodle soup togo and they put the hot soup in the FOAM cup like you described. It's horrible and spilled off everywhere when I got home since I work in downtown and my house in Spring. Will not recommend to anybody. There are many other Vietnamese restaurants in downtown area, why bother to go to this place???

MY REVIEW: I started going to the Milam location when they first opened and was always completely satisfied. My only complaint, if any, was that you often had to share a table with strangers due to volume of lunch business.

I now frequent the Tidwell location and really like everyone that works there; I would recommend to everyone to go visit Lang and his lovely family. The food is consistently excellent and reasonably priced.

MY REVIEW: I used to be here for many years. However, the food and service are getting worse and worse. The portion is so small, especially the meat that they do not allow you have the meat on the side cause you can finish all in one serving. Beside that, I've just ordered togo chicken noodle and they put the hot soup in medium FOAM cup. The result is the lid melted and sunk inside the cup when I got home. Too horible. I prefer the price go up a little bit so we can all have better food and service.

MY REVIEW: DD and I have eaten there for 6-7 years now, not as often as we'd like but we have always had good service and food; hubby would join us but works too far and lunch is our usual eat-out treat. I'd not thought to post a review but looked tonight and reviews I see don't match our experiences at all.

We love it because even when it's been a couple months between visits, our favorite people recognize us and bring the goodies before we even order, lol (my fav hot sauces and big tea cup) and we have never been charged for extras; I love zinging up my pho and dd loves hers milder. Food is brought out very quickly and service is usually wonderful - if it's a bit slow that's because we often eat a late lunch; remember, *the staff has to eat too* and does so at "slower" time around 3 pm...

we've NEVER felt inconvenienced. Occasionally, if they're busy, we go ask for refills. We've taken many friends there over the years and hope things don't change. We always leave happy, full, content, and glad to see staff we recognize and consider "foodie family".

MY REVIEW: The seafood soop is excellent. when you call in for a take out they understand you, not like some Vietbanese restaurants on Montrose that get it all wrong. The price is also great. I have eaten there many times and don't understand how people complain that the wait staff doesn't smile, etc. The culture is totally different, but authentic. Great place.

MY REVIEW: I love going to Pho Saigon for their pho. I am very fond of this restaurant and the food is always great. We love going on the weekends and some week nights we go as well. The service is good some days and bad others. We have never had a bad meal here. The staff is always friendly.

Very family oriented restaurant.

MY REVIEW: I go to this place ALL the time. I am shocked reading the reviews and how poorly people rated this place. I have been going here for about 4 years now. This is the best pho place in Sugar Land. It's very clean and the food comes out fast. The Manager is so nice and always smiles at us. I've NEVER been asked to pay extra, especially since my friends and I always ask for extra lime. I would rec. people to give this place a second chance if they had a bad experience the first time.

MY REVIEW: I love this place. It is a great alternative to Mexican food for breakfast...if you eat Menudo, Tripas or Sopa de Pollo, then you should try some Pho Thai for breakfast...vibrant, warming, filling with just the right protein to get you started for the day. And the extra hit of spice makes it that much better. Finish it off with Cafe Sua Da and you are set for a great day. I am so glad that they are open at 8 AM weekends...and the little bakery next door can supplement the morning munchies if so inclined.

They do noodles and soup and that's it. And experts, all. Thanks!

MY REVIEW: This is where I go when I want pho. The broth is full of flavor, and the ingredients fresh. Best pho in Midtown. The other dishes are good, but the selection is limited.

I find it amusing when others complain about the service. There is a cultural difference going on. In general, servers at Vietnamese restaurants will not kiss your a** or constantly check on you after the food is delivered. Your food comes quickly and without issues. No nonsense approach, that I quite frankly, enjoy.
