MY REVIEW: I go to the Beechnut location at least once a week for their thin crust pizza with meatballs and onions. I am from New Haven, CT and grew up on great pizza, and while not as good, this is by far the best pizza I have had in my 7 years in Houston. The crust is thin, but not too think where it cracks when you fold it over. The prices ar every reasonable. A large 2 topping is around $12 - $13 and has 8 large pieces. I cannot speak to the other locations, but if you live in or near Meyerland the Beechnut location is a great place for quality pizza.

5266 Beechnut St, Houston, Texas 77096  713.726.1166

MY REVIEW: Best eggplant parmesian in the city. Not mushy or soggy. Good marinara sauce and pasta. Bread is a loser, but the rolls are very good. (I eat too many of them). Service not very good. Once you get your meal the waitresses seem to forget about you, so drink refills are slow. Food portions are adequate except for a gourmand. I usually can't finish the portions and take some home. Prices are excellent to downright cheap. Its a family restaurant usually with a lot of kids, so you won't have a quiet meal. But noise level is not terrible.

MY REVIEW: Location service is lacking A LOT. Proportion size has gone down from what it was before the location moves. Now the have even added a charge for the salad that use to come with the meal. My family and I stopped going there for about 6 mths and decided to try it again a few days ago, our mistake one I don’t think I will make again...

5035 Highway 6 N, Houston, Texas 77084  281.550.1996

MY REVIEW: Strong Points: EXCELLENT New York style, thin crust pizza. My favorite place for an all cheese pie any day

EXCELLENT fetuccini alfredo, garlic lovers dream.

Weak Points: ABSOLUTELY crappy service. There are seriously some of the worst waitresses in the city of Houston working in this HWY6 N location. It is really a shame because the interior of the place is really warm and inviting, just wish the staff were.

NO SALAD comes with a dinner order. You now have to buy it additonally when you order any pasta dinner dish. That sucks.

Stick to delivery!

MY REVIEW: Excellent cheese pizza and even better alfredo sauce. If you love garlic, this is the restaraunt for you!

As for the service at this particular location, I cant really give it a thumbs up. I really wish they could find waitstaff who were as awesome as their food.

Cute decor inside though, just needs more charm in the servers.

MY REVIEW: I'm very picky when it comes to italian food, especially marinara sauce, and I have been very pleased each time I've dined here. They have exceptional marinara sauce, delicious pizza, and I'm never nervous to try something new because it is all great. If you like dessert, make sure to try the chocolate layer cake they have - it is on display by the register. The Tiramisu is light & creamy, a perfect treat after a long day at work.

MY REVIEW: I eat there quite often (several times per month), the soups and pizzas are excellent, but the service has been going downhill this year. I went in last night and after sitting there without being acknowledged at all for 15 minutes I got up and left. Spent more $$ down the street for food that wasn't as good. What a shame...

MY REVIEW: The food wasn't as good as expected. Though we had sausage and fresh garlic...the meat had no taste and there was no taste of garlic. But, the crust was nice.

MY REVIEW: Stopped in early afternoon on a Sunday with another couple. We split a large Caesar salad (love their dressing) and a Sicilian style Supreme pizza. Food was excellent as always, but the service was very slow and they definately were not busy! We knew want we wanted shortly after being seated, but it took the server at least 5 minutes to come back to take our order and then another 10 minutes before the salad arrived. I don't know what was going on, but it wasn't up to their usual level of service. I'll be back for the food - but if service doesn't improve, it will be to-go orders only.

MY REVIEW: Its a great place to enjoy good weather in Houston. But sitting inside isnt so bad either when trying to escape the heat. Good food, good staff. Calamari is great! And you cant go wrong with anything on the menu but for a first timer i would start with the pizza.

MY REVIEW: We went here on a whim as it is near our house and we thought we would give it a try. The whole family loved it, and my kids are picky (even with pizza).

We now either eat at the restaurant (inside or outside) or we order by phone to pick it up. It seems like we do this all the time. The prices are good, the staff is friendly, and the owners are there to take care of you as well. everal of our friends have started eating here too.

MY REVIEW: First time visit: Baked rigatoni special is fabulous. Very friendly and helpful wait staff. Though this location is small, I like that-- you actually can hear your dining companions! The wait staff, though young, very very helpful and friendly. I'll be going back to try other dishes. One of my friends already is hooked on the pizza-- and she's 64!

MY REVIEW: I have visited the new Beechnut Napoli a few times now and could not be more satisfied. I was astounded that such a young staff could provide such amazing service. They treated us like royalty and never looked at us without a smile. The manager on duty the last time I went on a Friday night was very busy (he was also one of the waiters) but still took the time to talk to us and make sure everything went ok even though he was not our server. I have never met a freindlier staff anywhere, and the food was delicious. Believe me, I will be back.

MY REVIEW: Twice I ordered the veal dish and was emphatic about " no cheese" and both times , once at the sit down and once, a "to go" order , I got cheese smeered all over the meat, and the side of lemon I asked for , wasn`t there.

The young management staff seemed more eager to chat with their buddies , a seemingly never ending stream of youngsters congregating behind the counter, than to check the outgoing orders.

Very unprofessional , immature staff . If this continues , I fear this establishment will soon be history. I will not be returning.

MY REVIEW: Tried the new Beechnut location, having been to the Westheimer location previously. Had the Ziti made with meat sauce, loved it. Service was good, although the dining room seems cramped and parking scarce. I'll go again, although I think i'll be getting my food to go instead.

MY REVIEW: Napoli beechnut used to be napoli west belfort and at there old location I visited several times. Last night was my first time at the new location. It was nice to see mostly the same waitstaff, because they are all very friendly and make your dining experience very personal. I was quite impressed with the quality of the food and the decentcy of the prices. The staff is young but quite nice. The same blonde hostess (from the previous review) greeted me at the door and was very nice in seating my party and setting us up with drinks. Right away our waitress was there. most of my party had never been to a Napoli's in houston and our waitress was quite informative. She was very polite and kept a smile on while taking our special order. The italian dressing for their house salads is remarkable. We ordered Rigatoni Jude(which was great) and pizza (which was even better) among other things. After the waitress came and boxed everything up for us, she explained the dessert menu. We tried three desserts: cannoli (good- pastry shell and cream) chocolate cake (amazing! Chocolate lovers dream) and spumoni (ice cream with three flavors- chocolate, strawberry and pistacio, it was wonderful). All the desserts were good. Our waitress was excellent and it is nice to see familiar, down to earth faces. All in all, we had a wonderful time! Since then we've ordered carryout and delivery which has also been great and delivery (for the most part) has been prompt. The only downside to Napoli on Beechnut is the size of the size restaurant and limited parking!

MY REVIEW: I should have followed my first instincts. I drove by on Saturday at 3 to pick up a menu. The very young blonde hostess walked up to me and asked if she could help me. I told her what I wanted and she directed me to the counter where you place orders/pay and turned her back on me. A well trained employee would have gone over to the counter and picked up a menu brought it to me and said if I had any questions to let her know. Nope, she just walked away. I came back at 5:45 p.m. with my husband, ready for some good Italian food. We were seated by the same young lady from earlier, the restaurant was less than half full, not crowedd and I saw 4 employees working the floor. After waiting 15 minutes, employees walking by, delivering food, drinks, etc. did one ever stop at our table and say they would be right back, or offer to take our drink order, no. In fact the only one who came by was the hostess who brought silverware. When I asked her what the dinner specials were, she looked at me and said that my waitress could answer that question, she didnt know. Yep, should have gone home, but still we waited, and waited. 20 minutes later, no drinks, no nothing we left. What a disappointment because we had high hopes for this neighborhood eatery. They need to better train the VERY inexperienced waitstaff. I recognized only one employee from the W. Bellfort location. They lost a regular customer already.

MY REVIEW: My co-workers and I have been ordering from Napoli for several years now and I have to say, the food is delicious, the portions are generous, even on carry out orders and the prices are very reasonable. My favorites are stuffed eggplant & fettucini alfredo. Everything I've tried has been delicious. The staff is friendly and the order is always right. What more can I say? Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

MY REVIEW: I'm sorry the original owners had to sell and split up the chain. New owners are evidently having problems maintaining good managers and employees. VERY dissappointed with delivery service. We've used this location several times without a problem, but last week had BIG issues... starting with delivery of pizza that was 1/2 what we ordered - 1/2 cheese, non-chalant attitude by staff, no manager on duty to help, when trying to find out when the correct pizza will be delivered - I was told "it's done (at 8:10), but we're behind and only have 1 driver, so it'll get to you when we can (8:55 - COLD)". I left a msg for the owner to call me (with another location) - no return call. Guess I'll have to find another restaurant with good quality pizza that wants my weekly order! I don't pay $32 for just a small cheese pizza!

MY REVIEW: When I crave pizza, it is a slice of cheese from Napoli. After living in NY for a while I got used to a slice of good thin crust pizza for $1. I am so happy to have found that here. It isn't $1 but I also don't have to stand outside in the cold to eat it. I should also mention that the spinach sautee is fabulous if you like that sort of thing.

MY REVIEW: I am a cheese pizza girl so all I have eaten at Napoli is the cheese pizza but it is soooo good. This place is only about 3 minutes from my house so I stop by for a slice often. The pizza is thin and just perfect! Get 2 or 3 slices if you are really hungry. They have an excellent lunch special for less than $4! You get two slices of cheese pizza and a salad. I am lucky because I have this place AND B*rother's Pizzeria within 5 miles of my house. Try both of them. B*rother's is a tad better (it just can't be beat) but Napoli is a close second. I just wish their slices were cut a bit bigger like B*rother's! I have been to Italy this year and this rates among the very best I have ever had, including Italian pizza.

MY REVIEW: Situated in a shopping center, Napoli is a lunch and dinner pizzeria and more. It features numerous Italian specialties, patio dining, and a clean, airy setting.

PROS: Calzone was generously sized, oven baked to order, and iced-tea was all-you-care-to drink.

CONS: Have yet to find one.

VERDICT: Nice casual place for lunch or dinner. Calzone and iced-tea was $7.03. Friendly service.

MY REVIEW: I concur with most of the reviews. I do not like pizza. Never have. But Napoli's cheese pizza is so good that I have made a fool out of myself eating it. It's one of the rare places where I'll stop in and pick something up on a Saturday. I branched out and had a shrimp dish that was so good I wanted to smack myself. Food is great. Price is great. Employees are great.

MY REVIEW: Although I had only been there while visiting friends, everyone was very friendly. We had the Sicilian pizza and it was damn good! My friends are there constantly and everybody knows their names... it's like Cheers. I can't wait to go back to drink their bellinis especially the regular one... the peach is really strong but tasty... Can't wait til I have time to visit my friends again and to have late dinners @ Napoli's
