MY REVIEW: I absolutely love this place. Have been coming here for 15 years plus. The best Vietnamese food I have found anywhere. The food is super delicious, healthy generous portion sizes. Great prices. Everything on the menu is excellent. Looks like a dive on the outside, but its relaxing and cozey on the inside. Staff is always very nice, have never had a problem with service here, which is rare. I absoulutely recommend this restaraunt to everyone, it is my FAVE!!

MY REVIEW: The Vietnamese Egg Rolls are the best I've had in Houston - not the egg rolls you usually get at a Vietnamese Restaurant. I almost always have Pho, but have tried many, many other things and have yet to find something I didn't like. I definitely recommend this to anyone who likes Vietnamese food!

MY REVIEW: From the outside the place looks like a dump. Once you get inside it's larger than it appears from the outside.

My friend ordered the Vietnamese eggrolls and they were quite yummy. I think they are better than K*imS0n's. I had the number 44, flat rice noodles with assorted meats. It was also delicious and had baby bok choy, onion, small broccoli flowers, snow peas, and carrots. I like how they have Hoisin sauce at the table, and also fried garlic available. It was really good. I will go back frequently!!

MY REVIEW: This place is one of my favorite Vietnamese restaraunts. They have great food and quick service. The prices are also very inexpensive. I have been going their for years and it hasn't changed a bit :).

MY REVIEW: This place is awesome - I work nearby and eat here twice a week. I am a vegetarian and they always accomodate me and will make any dish for me vegetarian style. My meat eating friends and co-workers also have tried many different items and all have been more than delightful. The staff is very friendly. Perhaps may be my favorite everyday restaurant in all of Houston.

MY REVIEW: I was introduced to this place by co-workers, who eat here regularly. The pho tai is quite good, and they have an interesting take on vietnamese eggrolls as well. Cheap and friendly, this place has become a mainstay.

MY REVIEW: Friendly waitstaff who can speak English. No need for pointing or signing here. I recommend the #12 Pho, Spring Rolls, Vemicelli, and Rice Plates. Portions are huge for the price you pay.

MY REVIEW: Try the Egg Rolls here. Love the Vermicelli (bun). the first location on Kempwood has een shut down, but the location on 290 is still up and running and has expanded. 8 out of 10

MY REVIEW: One of the best Vietnamese restaurants I've encountered in Houston and, by far, the best bargain. Their main bill of fare is pho, a unique beef stock soup with various additions (meats,etc.) They additionally offer numerous noodle dishes which are substantial, flavorful and inexpensive. During workday lunches, they are packed but during the evening things are much quiter. On the weekends, their clientele is primarily Asian, which indicates to me that the food is good. Don't go for "pretty" atmosphere or you will be sadly disappointed. Additionally, the service, while prompt, can be less than "warm" which may put off some diners. Strongly recommend: Banh hoi thit nuong (fresh noodle cake with grilled pork), bun bo xao xa ot (tenderloin beef with chilli, lemon grass and noodles), pho tai (beef soup with beef tenderloin).Enjoy!
