MY REVIEW: I've always been a big fan of Brooklyn Cafe, but I've stopped going recently after I got a batch of bagels that were bready. No chew, no resistance- like a dinner roll. Thinking it was a fluke, I forgave them and went back next week. Again, they were bready. Think supermarket bagels. I've now switched my bagel provider to one that has both bagels with moxie and courteous staff.

MY REVIEW: I went out of my way, and a considerable distance, to have breakfast(my most important meal of the day) at Brooklyn Cafe. Unfortunately I was unaware that the menu was so limited for any hour of the day, and that the staff, although polite and courteous, was held back by someone who has little knowledge of cooking eggs and refused to fix my eggs sunny side up. When I order something, I know what I want, and this refusal caused me to question the complete menu, so I left and went to my least favorite restuarant, M*cDonald's.

MY REVIEW: BEST BAGEL AND SERVICE IN TOWN. LOTS OF NEW FACES BUT EVERYONE IS VERY NICE AND SEEMS TO ENJOY THERE JOB. BEEN TO THE ONE 242 AND THE MANAGER IS VERY OLD AND GRUMPY. I LIKE PANTHER CREEK BETTER, MANAGEMENT AND STAFF ARE MUCH NICER AND THE FOOD AND COFFEE SEEM TO TASTE BETTER!!!

MY REVIEW: We're new to The Woodlands and we stumbled on the Brooklyn Cafe by accident. All the outside tables were occupied and the line was out the door. That kind of crowd made us feel pretty sure the food would be worth waiting for, and it was. We had sandwiches on the basil parmesan bagel, and the taste was excellent and unique. We will definitely be back!

MY REVIEW: The food is superb, fresh bagels, egg wraps with cheese and hashbrowns and your choice of meat. We skip the meat and add jalapenos, not a choice on the menu but done without skipping a beat. It is indeed the neighborhood hangout all week long. Even s*tarbucks right across the parking lot doesn't draw the crowd tha Brooklyn Cafe does. Nick and his staff work hard for everyone to have a great experience and from the regulars we see there, it is working.

MY REVIEW: Great atmosphere! The hangout for the weekend morning crowd in the Woodlands. What could be better than bagels, coffee talk, N.Y. Times, show and tell, and laughs with friends and acquaintances? Nick has got a great thing going here. When someone says "Let's meet at the bagel shop," everyone in the Woodlands knows the story. Even the advertised political commentary in the store gets people excited enough to write about it.

MY REVIEW: What's with Alice? I've eaten at the Brooklyn Cafe many times and the food is always great.....service is always great. Always order my bagel toasted and lightly buttered and don't recall being charged extra. I'm from Brooklyn and I promise you there are just as many rude people in all parts of the country. Maybe a little sense of humor is what we need hear!!

MY REVIEW: My wife and I discovered the Brooklyn Café 8 years ago. Even though we lived 11 miles away, we managed to have breakfast there once a month or so. Four years ago, we moved to The Woodlands and since then we eat breakfast there twice a week and lunch a couple of times a month.
We ride our bikes over for breakfast, taking our newspaper. I get the Basil Parmesan toasted with herb cream cheese; my wife always gets the Cranberry Walnut. If we are really hungry we order the breakfast sandwich on a bagel, egg, sausage or bacon and cheese; delicious and very filling. We eat our bagels, drink coffee, read our newspaper and watch the world go by. It is a very relaxing place to pass the time. The friendly staff never makes us feel rushed. Also, there is outdoor seating that we enjoy on those beautiful spring and fall mornings we have in Houston.
We have friends who say their hamburgers are the best around, but for lunch the only thing I ever get is the chicken salad on a basil parmesan bagel. I tried it the first time I went there for lunch and liked it so much that I do not even consider the many other things on the menu.

MY REVIEW: YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO TO BROOKLYN TO BE INSULTED. We order 2 breakfasts: we asked for butter for the toast and received a lecture on economy, then was told to pay for the butter. We also ordered a "TOASTED" bagle and it was delivered cold and was told that if we wanted cream cheese we had to pay extra. Also the food was mediocre.
Someone forgot to tell this owner that he is no longer in Brooklyn. People expect to be treated politely in Texas

MY REVIEW: My wife and I walk to Brooklyn Bagel for breakfast on the weekends. Everything is homemade, the people are very pleasant and my favorite thing to order is their Raisen Bagel w/Cream Cheese. Their coffee is also excellent. We enjoy eating on the patio and feel their prices are very reasonable.
