MY REVIEW: This was my first time at this restaurant excellent service and food. The ambiance is quite, with the feel of a real japanses restaurant. The sushi menu is very large, and the grill experience was great, food perfectly cooked and seasoned.

MY REVIEW: My family loves Kobe's. We eat there probably once a week. The food is always wonderful and the staff is always pleasant. We have not ventured out to try any other Japanese Restaurant because this one is so good and has awesome lunch prices. Steak and shrimp with fried rice is just fabulous.....

MY REVIEW: KOBE is the BEST Japanese steakhouse around. We have been going there for years and LOVE it every time. My oldest son who is 10 begs to go there all the time. He likes the smoked salmon sushi. The best time to go is at lunch because the prices are so much more reasonable.

MY REVIEW: This place is by far the best sushi I have ever had. The New York Roll is better than any other roll I have tried in Houston, and that is alot(from Downtown to the Woodlands and everything in between). The staff is friendly and Long, the manager, recognizes me the second I walk in and always greets me and everyone with me with a smile. I would and have reccomended this place to many people and will continue going there for many years to come.

MY REVIEW: Kobe is the best of the five teppan-yaki restaurants round The Woodlands. However, if you want sushi the only place to go is H*iro's across the street.

MY REVIEW: I have only been to The Woodlands location and I LOVE IT! I have never had a bad meal. The only problem I have had is with other parties seated with us (usually teens) being obnoxious. You can still have a great meal w/ privacy, there are individual tables away from the grills. I recommend this restaurant very highly.

MY REVIEW: I have not been to a hibachi-style place since I was a kid. This one was a real treat! I went with my wife and my 1-year old son. The food was excellent to say the least. The chef was great - personable, funny, skilled, and he really looked out for the guests. He made sure my boy was as happy as everyone else at the table. The wait staff was superb. I can't say enough about them. This was an experience we will repeat soon. We ate our fill and had a great show for $6.50 each for the lunch special. Can you beat that?

MY REVIEW: This is my favorite restaurant. I have never had a bad meal there. The food is always fresh and the chefs are always entertaining. I recommend the Kobe Roll (which is not on the menu, but is excellent) and the hibachi shrimp.

MY REVIEW: My daughter & I came to Kobe to have dinner on her birthday, it was wonderful. I was surprised that she stayed in her seat & ate most of her food!! Our chef was very entertaining & very kid-friendly. There were about 3-4 different waiters & waitresses serving at my table, so no compliants there, I enjoyed it. The price was very reasonable. The very next week I brought along my entire family and surprisingly the manager recognized me and we received such a warm welcome from the waitstaff as well and again from the greetings, to the meals, the service overall I have no compliants. Kobe will be on the top of my families' list.

MY REVIEW: I had never tried sushi or any japanese food before until my friend took me to Kobe....WOW...it was the greatest experience! The waitress along with the manager helped me out with which one I should start out with and then work my way to the rest. Since then I'd tried sushi hopping but I'd always return to Kobe where I never leave unsastisfied. I'd also love their hibachi dish. As for Josh and whoever his wife is, if you own 3 restaurants then you should have been the one that are most patient and understandable when it is busy and try not to expect 1st class service then you won't be disappointed. The restaurant is pack most the time I dine there, but I still leave happy. I recommend Kobe to everyone I know and sometimes to those who I don't know.

MY REVIEW: Kobe is truly the best Sushi restaurant that I have been to, and I have been to a lot of other Sushi places all over Houston. The habachi grill presentation is much better than B*enihana or any other places. Their sushi is the best, very fresh. Their staff are very nice and friendly and some of the ladies are very good looking! Great food and excellent services!

MY REVIEW: I really enjoy this restraunt every time my Husband and I come down to visit we have to stop in. This is one of the best Japanese restraunts. My husband and I had our Rehersal dinner here. Everyone enjoyed it and has been back for more of the great food and service that they offer. The food all tastes wonderful, I for one love the sushi that they offer, my favorite is the Tiger Roll. My husband likes the Rainbow Roll, but let me tell you it is all GOOD!!!

MY REVIEW: i love the food at Kobe. My wife and I have celebrated numerous anniversaries, we've brought our children on several occasions and on this particular night, we were celebrating my wife's birthday.
It was very busy b/c it was prom night. we sat in the newly remodeled side. The service was terrible. i got up to refill my own drinks and had to find my own soy sauce for the sushi. i had asked the waitress for refills and was ignored. When i angrily confrionted the waitress, she said her manager would get very upset with her b/c she was behind in serving other people. that is why she failed to fill our drinks. i asked to speak to the manager - an older asian man(maybe in his 50s) seemed irritated that we bothered him about the situation. that was the last time time we went and we will never go back.
i am writing this tonight b/c memories of this meal came to me as we are deciding between Ich*ibon in greenspoint of ben*ihana in the woodlands.
i own 3 restaurants and would never trat someone in my place the way we were treated that night.

MY REVIEW: I love this place! The restaurant is a great place for families, dates, or business lunches. I have been there in all three situations and had enjoyable meals each time. I can't get enough of the sushi! The staff always seem happy to see you and they remember you when you come back! I enjoy all the different items on the menu. As for Lee K's review, if he doesn't like it, how come he's gone back there 4-6 times....

MY REVIEW: We love this place!! If you want THE BEST Spicy Tuna or Salmon Rolls, this is the place to go!! They do not roll their rolls in cayenne peppers here, they are absolutely wonderful and we always go back for more! Their sushi is always very fresh, and we love it!!
Their Miso Soup could use a little help however, I've had better...but the rest is just wonderful!

MY REVIEW: The Food is Excellent!! I am a VERY picky eater and the just helped me get only the food I like without all the problems it usually entails at resturaunts.
The onion soup is my Favorite. The Service is very good, when they get your order correct,(Sitting at the table with the chef, not when you just have it brought to you) Otherwise they take things away and bring them to you very quickly and with a smile.
Since the remodel the ambiance has much improved..
Also while the "Show" is much better at night the lunch meals have just as much food for HALF the price. Once I saw this I only go for lunch unless it is a Birthday. Which I HIGHLY recommend to EVERYONE.
Note: The "show" is very good for all, especially younger children, as long as they aren't afraid of fire...

MY REVIEW: The Kobe Steakhouse in the Woodland is my favorite place to eat. Always fresh, entertaining and the service waiters are great. I recommend this restaurant for all family and friends. I am even having dinner there tonight with my husband. Whenver my managers want to take me out to lunch, Kobe is always my selection.
Take your family and friend and you will have a great meal and a great time.

MY REVIEW: I went for my birthday on the 18th and had such a great time there. The food was wonderful and I took my husband and a few others that had not been there before and they were impressed with the portions and priced as compared to Ben*hana's. It IS probably more of a family show than authentic japanese food but it's perfect for me. I'm shocked to hear so many disappointments at the Katy location and b/c of that, I'd probably never visit THAT one. I'll stick to the one in The Woodlands!

MY REVIEW: This place is awesome! I love the "old guy" chef. He's alot of fun but then they all are! The food is fresh and the service is wonderful! I haven't had a bad experience and I've now started going at least twice a month! You gotta check it out!!!!

MY REVIEW: Strong points: Fresh salmon and yellow tail sashimi, friendly service.
Weak points: Very limited selection of authentic Japanese food; no sushi bar or counter where you can see a chef; lots of tobacco smoke; staff seems overly busy.
No: Uni (sea urchin), saba (mackerel), aji (spanish mackerel), kama (fish cheek), zaru soba (cold noodles), ankimo (liver), zosui (rice soup), rammen (noodles).
More a family show-off type Japanese restaurant, than authentic Japanese.
Not bad -- I've never tasted bad food there -- but very limited in what you can choose.

MY REVIEW: Very friendly staff, excellent Sushi. It was my first time to have Sushi, and I was very skeptical, but my boyfriend loves it, so I went. I loved it, too, and can't wait to go back!
