MY REVIEW: This restaurant is outstanding in everyway.....food is great and moderately priced.....service was excellent.....best bagels I have ever had (and that include New York and Chicago).

MY REVIEW: I stopped by this place after looking at the reviews on b4-u-eat. I went specifically for the egg salad sandwich. I wasn't disappointed. Excellent sandwich with a pickle and cole slaw. I debated for awhile cause I saw my favorite East coast dish....pizza burger. This place was the only place that actually had it on a menu just like the diners back on the East coast. I'll definitely get that next time and update b4-u-eat. The place is very clean and service is great. One of these days I'll come here for the breakfast...the breakfast menu has some awesome stuff. It'll be a little hard since I live in Katy. But it looks worthwhile.

MY REVIEW: I am a native New Yorker and this is as close as it gets to the real thing! The atmosphere is TRUE NY coffee shop! From the tables, decor and "lunch counter" this is it folks! The sandwiches are fresh and delicious. In addition they actually come with coleslaw and a pickle! The service is always excellent as well! This is a must do for all of you Native New Yorkers who remember the coffee shops and a must experience for everyone else who has heard about them! I'm Hooked!

MY REVIEW: Having lived in Houston for all my life, I was surprised to not have known about this place until last year. Breakfast is definitely a bustling time here on the weekends but well worth it. Tables turn quickly but you never feel rushed by the waitstaff. French toast was wonderful. Eggs combos are delicious, too. My friend and I came for lunch (when things supposedly slow down) but the place was humming at that time, too. Great egg salad sandwiches! For a great, filling, and affordable breakfast/lunch, try this place.

MY REVIEW: From the first time I visited this place I was hooked. The service is quick and friendly and the food is amazing. I have gotten simple items such as eggs and toast for breakfast to more delicate lox and bagels. I love their corned beef hash which is made with real corned beef and not canned crud. Their lunch is just as amazing having tasted almost everything on the menu from salami to chopped liver to soup. I have nothing bad to say.

MY REVIEW: What a madhouse on Sunday mornings. I loved it. Reasonable prices for a great tasting, filling breakfast. The waitresses are considerate and helpful to the crowd standing at the door. A 20 minute wait at 10am isn't really that bad. I was with a 5-year-old and when our name came up we got the nice booth at the front window that seats four. Above and beyond the call. She had pancakes which were huge and I had the special with eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast and added a side of grits. All done to perfection. Then we went next door to the bakery and got some cookies for the road. Highly recommended.
