MY REVIEW: This is one of our favorite lunch spots. Hubby and I eat lunch at least twice a month here. Love the "build-your-own" burrito/bowl concept and the variety of ingredients is the best. Staff is friendly and efficient. Also appreciate their "fundraiser" options for schools and non-profits.

MY REVIEW: Eating at this MB is always great! Everyone gets what they want, can specialize their order, and watch as it is prepared. My son and I always get the chicken burrito, and my wife enjoys the pork burrito. Always order some chips and salsa, as the chips are free refills. The food is fresh, tasty, and very filling. We even bring our little dog with us so we can sit at an outside table when the weather is nice.

MY REVIEW: Rude manager and poor service. I went in on 9/22/10 to order a salad to go. Manager was yelling at the staff. I had to wait forever for my one salad while everyone else in the line got their food. Then I they didnt give me any dressing and was rude when I asked for some. Never go there again.

MY REVIEW: Shredded pork is very tender and good, however the portions are small in the tacos. Soft corn tortillas and salsas are also very good. Chips and queso are average.

MY REVIEW: I have noticed that the staff at the Durham MB have gotten surlier and surlier with each visit. Last night was the last straw. The doors to the place stick and are hard to open. Rather than put a sign up that says "use the left door and pull hard", they opted to insult their patrons over the loud speaker as each arrived and tried to open the door. That coupled with the fact that they seem to think they're doing you a favor by serving you food will cause me to go to F*reebird's or B*erryhill's in the future. Thanks, MB - it's been nice knowing you.

MY REVIEW: My family went for Sunday lunch and we left dissapointed. My husband ordered the tacos and by the time he got to the table they were cold. The fajita meat was bland. The service was not all that either, staff seemed lost. Needless to say we won't be going back.

MY REVIEW: What has happened to the Alabama location?
The service used to be the hallmark of the experience. The last several times I've gone have been pretty awful, but I keep giving them a shot because they've been so good to me for the last 8 years.
The last time I went the gentleman split my burrito when wrapping it up, and only tried to make amends when he noticed that I saw his error. He asked me if I wanted him to re-wrap it. Whenever this happened before, there was no question. Of course you re-wrap it. I wanted to get behind the counter and show them how it's done.
Where are you Patricia? :'( You're the only one I ever trusted to make my super burritos. The jokers who work there now are completely clueless.

MY REVIEW: My husband and I have visited Mission Burrito twice, and we like it better than Chip*tle. I like the greater variety of toppings, and the cilantro ranch dressing is really yummy. I ordered the burrito bowl both times and had MORE than enough food (actually, I had to specifically ask for them to give me smaller portions). The first time we went, we didn't know that we could get refills of the salsa and chips, so we felt a little ripped off. But it turns out that you *can* get refills, and you can also order any salsa from the bar, rather than just the one they usually give for a chips and salsa order. We'll keep going back from time to time.

MY REVIEW: Not impressed. The carnitas had absolutely no flavor either time I tried them, was charged extra for adding the red peppers to my burrito, and the line took forever. Plus the burritos fall apart if you try to unwrap more than a bite at a time. Chips were stale, but the guacamole was halfway decent. Will drive out of my way to go to C*hipolte or F*reebirds.

MY REVIEW: After disappointing meals the last 3 visits in Nov and Dec I have to say no more. I'm very sad as this used to be one of my fav places to eat where I went at minimum once a month since the first location opened.
The quality just isn't there anymore. The meat is awful now. Close to T*co Cabana quality than what it used to be. What happened to this once jewel? Anyone giving good reviews to the new locations just didn't know how great this place once was. And that's sad too.

MY REVIEW: The food at Mission Burritos is good. My fiance really likes the tacos with the guacomole sauce and I always get a burrito. My only complaint is how they wrap the burrito. The way they wrap it makes it difficult to keep together and the burrito eventually falls apart. I dine at F*reebirds quite often and have for years, I dont know how they wrap their burritos but I have yet to have one fall apart. If I need my burrito fix but cant get to F*reebirds I dont have a problem dining at Mission Burritos ... I wouldnt even bother with C*hipotle if youve never been!

MY REVIEW: We get catered Mission Burritos at work from time to time and we love it. I was excited that they were going to open one up on Hwy 6 N near me. I was anticipating it everyday until it finally opened. What a let down!! It was expensive and they charged me 1.50 for a little scoop of queso when other places includes it. i paid about $10 for one burrito bowl. Way too expensive for what I got. To end it, it wasn't even as good as I was hoping. I will not go to this location anymore. Unsatisfied.

MY REVIEW: They just opened a Mission Burrito a stone's throw away from our apartment on Highway 6 and my husband, who is from Houston, said, "Honey, we have to go there; you will love it!" I moved here from Miami three years ago, and I had told him about a burrito place on South Beach that was so good. He said, "Nah, wait till you try this." So we did, tonight, for dinner, with our two 19 year old sons. What a disaster! Whoever wrote a good review about this restaurant/fast food/Mexican wannabe has not been to the one I went to tonight. This restaurant is expensive! We paid twice what we would have paid at Taco B*ell and left dissatisfied and hungry. The flour tortilla is inedible, chewy, soggy, and too weak to hold the fillings. I had the pork and the meat was so salty I didn't eat it. They charged me $1.50 for a small scoop or guacamole. The woman massaged my burrito smashing everything so she could fold the tortilla while the manager told her in Spanish that she was doing it wrong that it was going to break. It broke and she simply placed the broken side of the burrito face down on the basket. We spent almost $50 on burritos and a soda and we are still in disbelief. Total disaster. Will never, under any circumstance, go to Mission Burrito's again. Good riddance.
