MY REVIEW: Swarmas grilled spicy and prepared spicy...hmm. i prefer the steak or lamb. chicken is great too. ask for it with the extra sauce (forgot the name) and order from the array of flavored humus available at this location! I'm not too big on humus but with the flavors they have they've turned something that was boring and bland into something flavorful and exciting.
I prefer the Sugarland Location although it doesn't have the years experience as the other locations the quality and new concepts are definately key for keeping me coming back to this particular spot.

MY REVIEW: This place is terrific. The food is absolutely delicious. We have tried the schwarmas, the tabouli, the Greek salad, and the hummas with pitas. Everything is so yummy, even my three-year-old loves it. We get take-out once a week, and I love it. P*epperonis and Droubi's are the best take-out in the Sugar Land area.

MY REVIEW: Delicious food at great prices. The cheesy pita bread is to die for, and so are the gyro's. Great greek salad and spinach pies. Very clean, well organized and fresh. Love it!!

MY REVIEW: Food is great, their kabobs make you want to go back again and again. The service is just ok, well, it's not a restaurant, so you cannot expect the good service.

MY REVIEW: All sugarlanders seriously need to stop by this place. They have yummy fresh pita bread in whole wheat and white and the best, their bread with spices all over it..deeelicious. Their gyros (shwarma) is great as long as everything else they have. They've got groceries and desserts too! CHECK IT OUT!

MY REVIEW: I "love their location" on Hillcroft, but the store on Kirby leaves a lot to be desired. It always seems dirty, the air conditioner on the blink and the food coolers out of service. I wish they would remodel or relocate to a better spot.

MY REVIEW: The Sugarland Location (Hwy 6) was recently taken over by the "Son" and he has made marked improvements. They now have several different kinds of Hummus, a menu board that you can read as you stand in line, and great spicy chicken shawarmas. I would highly recommend this place for lunch.

MY REVIEW: Brief Description: Droubi's is more than your one stop shopping location for excellent, freshly baked Middle Eastern bread and Middle Eastern foods. This location also features a small, cafeteria style restaurant with mouth watering middle eastern specialties. This is a great place to eat cheaply.
On a recent trip, I had a lunch of baked eggplant with tomatoes, sauteed potatoes, a small Greek salad, rice, and pita bread for less than $3.00.
Droubi's has shawarma ( chicken or beef) on a spit and kebabs which are cooked to order.
Sweet tooth? Don't forget that Droubi's has a pastry section with freshly baked baklavas, kataifi, date cookies, and more.
Update June 1997: For $5.00, you can get a plate with two grilled Kofta Kebabs, Greek salad, and roasted potatoes.
