MY REVIEW: Like the atmosphere and the prices are good but we ordered wings last night and they were so small that they shouldn't offer them on the menu.

MY REVIEW: Good food, decent prices, not too crowded at night, and plenty of parking. The staff will usually adjust the menu to please the customer. We go to this location regularly about once a month and are never dissappointed.

MY REVIEW: Guess this is something new, the bg cheesy cheeseburger. I usually order a burer without cheese, but I am glad I orderd this one.
Skeeters has nice old fashioned burgers, but what you should try is the chicken breast sandwhich. Outstanding because it is made with a real chicken breast. You can tell, by the way. It is like something good you cooked on the grill yourself with some nice seasonings.
Only drawback is sometimes there are lots of kids there. Mostly the parents keep them under control, but once in a while it get noisy. The Cheesy Cheeseburger makes it worth it.

MY REVIEW: We often order to-go (very rarely do we dine in) and the food is great- honestly we always order the burgers because they are so good we don't feel like trying anything else....The burgers last night were the best we've had-very juicy and the bacon was fresh.
In the way of constructive criticism, I would say that too often the burgers are a bit on the dry side and the bacon is not so fresh (I've seen that they make a lot (too much it seems...) and it is overflowing out of a bin and who knows how long it has been there...make the bacon fresher and the burgers a juicier like it was last night (my compliments to the chef) and the are the best burgers ever!
The staff is nice and pleasant, the place could be a little cleaner at times though (there is always some sticky nastiness on the trash can and I never want to touch it...the bathroom/etc it just seems that overall they could try and keep the place a little cleaner, I understand it is a family restaurant= kids making messes but still, you want your overall impression to be good, lots of little things can turn people off of a restaurant).
They have great food for moderately reasonable prices (maybe a little overpriced) but I would definitely recommend it to others (and I do)!

MY REVIEW: This is a good alternative place to go on weekend mornings when I am too lazy to make my own breakfast or want to meet a friend for a meal. The food is not great, but its not bad either. On their weekend breakfast buffet, the eggs are usually dry, so I always go for the fresh omelet. The bacon, sausage, fruit are great, and I also enjoy a small sampling of the refried beans, potatoes, and sometimes the waffles or pancakes. This past Sunday, the coffee was really good, not watered down like most places. Again, this is a good alternative to go for breakfast on weekends. The staff is always pleasant.

MY REVIEW: Tried to go on 2/1/10 and the place is closed. The furnishings are gone and the place is stripped bare. Too bad, we enjoyed going there.

MY REVIEW: Wtf. I can't believe you people- I managed a restaurant when I was in college, and I had a TON of things to do (check food temps, check food appearance, help cook, check on customers, deal with complaints, answer phones, deal with employees, to name a few) that did NOT include policing wild children. Sorry, not in the job description.
Parents have gotten so irresponsible these days. "Sure, I'll let my kid run around and scream- I can tune it out, can't you?" Then, when you ask the parents to control their children, they do one of two things: 1) Get pissy. 2) Say, "Ok, now, Little Jr. Baby SOB, please stop running into customers' chairs and crawling under their tables! Thank you, Mommy's Most Precious!". Seriously. Stop trying to avoid being the bad guy (you're a parent, not a friend) and teach your children some respect. I know I respect my parents a LOT more for teaching me manners rather than turning me into a spoiled jerk.
In other news, I love Skeeter's.

MY REVIEW: Great idea - let's not have parents be responsible for their own children's behavior or manners!
Anyway, the food here is alright. Nothing special but a decent place to go in a pinch.

MY REVIEW: Actually, KB, it is the manager's responsiblitiy to corral the children. You want the person being annoyed to go to the parents and tell them their children need to be taught manners? Start a nice entertaining fight? If children are running wild, it is the manager's job to see to it they are not bothering their other customers. If they want to play, they can go to M*cD's.

MY REVIEW: To KB, this site is for people to give an opinion on their own experiences at a restaurant, so don't tell people what to say or how to say it!

MY REVIEW: First of all, I would like to point out that bad grammar and bad spelling do nothing in the way of giving you credibility- if you are going to complain about a place, at least do it intelligently. Secondly, do not complain about a restaurant just because parents cannot control their kids... it is not up to the manager to play babysitter when he/she is trying to run a business. Seriously.
I love Skeeter's in Katy! It is one of my favorite restaurants. My favorite thing to get there, which they currently do not have on their menu, is the spring chicken wrap... I daydream about it when I am at my college home. Their carrot cake and (homemade) tres leches are amazing, as are their fajitas, quesadillas, salads... pretty much everything! My only complaint would be that the menu can be a little pricey, but I think it's worth it!

MY REVIEW: Hamburger was ok, but very small. Meat patty filled about 1/2 of the bun. Not enough value for the price.

MY REVIEW: We have been going to Skeeter's for years. We recently moved within walking distance to this one and so some weekends would walk up to have breakfast. We do not like to eat from a buffet so would order our breakfast fresh. I walked over to get a drink and noticed the employee about to bring our breakfast over and was getting our beans, potatoes, and bacon off of the buffet! I thought when we ordered off the menu it was supposed to be cooked fresh, so I emailed the Skeeter's office and immediately received a response and an apology telling me that when you order your breakfast from the menu it is all supposed to be cooked fresh and not taken off of the buffet. He said he would definitely fix that problem. We did appreciate the quick response. He offered to send us a gift certificate which I accepted but he never sent it to us. We haven't been back for breakfast since but we do still enjoy going for dinner occasionally.

MY REVIEW: I don't know why everyone raves about this place. I have friends who frequent Skeeters and I just don't get it. The food is nothing special, the prices aren't that great (definitely not worth the quality of food), and the place is always dirty...food all over the floor and filthy bathrooms.
I went twice...once for the breakfast buffet (which was terrible), and once for lunch. I will never return.

MY REVIEW: I have been to this location a few times and I will never return. The food and service seem to have gone drastically down hill. Last night I ordered 2 different items off of the menu. Both were not as I ordered (plain/no cheese). I very politely asked for the order to be corrected and was given excessively rude looks and no verbal reply by 3 different employees. No "I am sorry" Or "No problem, we will fix it". When I got my food back, I made it a point of politely thanking them to which I received all blank stares and no verbal reply. Lousy customer service. Great food AND great service are required to make me return to a restaurant. Skeeters lacks both.
