MY REVIEW: I was on my way from Pittsburgh to Los Angeles with a stop over in Houston of one and a half hours. I saw the Pappadeaux Seafood Restaurent sign in the airport and followed it to what I can only say was some of the best seafood I have experenced in a restaurent since a trip to the south of France. The appointments in the restaurent were something one might expect of an up scale establishment in say Beverly Hills. This was like an oasis in a desert of unappitizing fast food emporiums. The prices I thought were more than fair when you consider the prices of the other compitition who are not even on the same playing field, starting with the quality of food, service, ambience and over all congeniality of the waitstaff. I only wish that there were more Pappadeaux Seafood Restaurents in the airports in LA and other large terminals through out this country. Thank you for making my trip and lay over in Houston a memorable one.

MY REVIEW: Oh how I So Love Pappaduex, The service is absolutely fabulous, the bartenders are great, I highly recommend the Twisted Hurricane with 12 boil shrimp to begin any meal. I also recommend that you ask for Marcus as your server, hes professional and has the greatest suggestions before to ask about the special. For an outing with friends in a wonderful atmosphere Pappaduex's is the place to be!

MY REVIEW: We decided to go for my birthday, to try something new and we had heard a few good things. It was roughly 5pm on a Wednesday evening when we got there, and the hostesses were readily available to seat us and informed us our waiter Doug would be right over. It started kinda shaky in that it took nearly 5 minutes before Doug ever showed up to take our drink order. However, when Doug did come over to see us he was extremely attentive the rest of the meal, and we each ordered 2 different cups of gumbo (both were excellent), split some fried alligator (pretty good, like chicken but a little tougher), and had drinks from the bar before our main dishes however we ordered them all at once. He did a great job of getting everything out of the kitchen at the perfect time, and all the food was delicious. My spouse ordered a shrimp caesar salad and it was huge, but I made the mistake of ordering the pappadeaux platter, the food was good but it was much bigger than I would have ever expected. We both had a ton of leftovers and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We will most definately return.

MY REVIEW: I just went here tonight (Sunday 11/5) and can report that I had a great experience. It was decently busy for a Sunday night (around 9:00 p.m.), but I was seated promptly, and my waiter, JP, came over and almost immediately took my drink order. The food that I ordered was great (crawfish bisque and a large shrimp ceasar salad), JP was attentive but not overbearing, and I left stuffed with some bread pudding to take home for a late night dessert. They have redone their interior, and the bar area has wide screen TVs for sports watching (the Rockets-Hornets and the Colts-Patriots games were on the two TVs there) if you want to eat your meal there. No problems that I could see - it had been a few months since I'd been to this location, but I'll defintely come back. JP and the rest of the wait staff will take good care of you here - count on it! The manager was even walking around asking the guests if there was anything else that they could do - I like that. I'll definately be back.

MY REVIEW: Service was horrible, food was average at best. One lousy scallop and two little-bitty shrimp on my Blackened Alexander. Will not return, would rather eat at L*ong John Silvers. Will have extra dough left over to go to a real restaurant.

MY REVIEW: If this is the location that has brunch then you MUST go. I went for a birthday brunch, yes it is unbelievably crowded but it is soooo worth it for the food you get. Every selection was scrumptious and since it was buffet I got to try everything. Of course the lemonade and mimosas are out of this world and it should be for the price and small size. I will go back again, tip if you're not so picky, sit on the porch, there's a jazz band playing and there's no wait for a seat.

MY REVIEW: We visit this location often and are aware of the standards for excellent service and food; which is the main reason we chose it for my husband's birthday. What a mistake! Our server did not even smile, our food came all at once, salads and meal, when we sat down and ordered water for our drink the server asked what else we would want besides water. I also told her from the beginning of the meal it was my husband's birthday and at the end of the meal she told me (after I had to remind her) that they do not celebrate birthdays but she could bring a bread pudding to the table. Hummm not a good attitude. She also chaged me $2.50 to substitute a baked potatoe (that was served cold)and did not even inform me there would be any charge for this, my husband's gumbo was not hot and she returned after it was heated with it less than full, I could just go on and on.. Needless to say we will hestitate to go there again. I was sad we picked this restaurant for a special occasion.

MY REVIEW: Had a gift card so we used it celebrate our 14th year of marriage. Glad we had the gift card! They have gone crazy on their food prices. 10.00 for fondue this is cheese people not gold. 20.00 for a bowl of pasta and seafood critters. Yes it has a good flavor not worth the price. Service was fair till we gave them the gift card took extra 15 - 20 minutes for them to confirm it was a valid card. So I can not recommend this place due to price. Sorry guys you have out priced yourself.
Look else where save your money. Rember Mambo knows food.

MY REVIEW: One of my favorites for a large portion of fish, fried seafood platters, and great food. I always try to order my favorite (salmon) with one of their sauces or go for the seafood platters. I never leave Pappadeaux's with an empty stomach. The food is a great value for the prices charged.
