MY REVIEW: Abdallah's is one of those authentic hole-in-the-walls that makes the Houston restaurant scene so varied and unique. You probably wouldn't think about stopping in when seeing the exterior of the building for the first time; it is rather weather-worn. However, while you won't find an elegant atmosphere inside, you will find a comfortable, relaxed, quaint sit-down deli environment in which to enjoy the authentic Lebanese-style cuisine. Over the past three years I have been greeted and served by the same group of staff whether for lunch, dinner, weekday, or weekend.
Prices currently range from $6 for a schawerma sandwich or 4-side vegetarian plate to $10 for a daily special plate. With numerous tastey side dishes and pastries to choose from, this regular customer always finds just the right combination to leave content and happy. Tabouli, kafta, hummus, lentils, lamb, kibii, etc., etc., etc.
Try Abdallah's. You'll soon be sharing it with your friends.

MY REVIEW: Abdallah's is one of those little places that makes Houston special. The decor is simple, like a bakery, but with intersting, authentic middle-eastern items and foods surrounding you. There is a pleasant aroma of fresh baked bread and arabic coffee in the restaurant, which doubles as a small store where people come in to shop for fresh bread and other arabic goodies. The atmosphere is not appropriate for someone trying to impress, but if you want a down-home good Lebanese meal, this is one of the best choices in town. I recommend their chicken kabab over rice. For dessert, their baklava is excellent. Leave with a packet of fresh baked pita bread to go.

MY REVIEW: I normally love eating here the food because the food and the service usually good. Although I am very disappointed the other day they gave me poor service. I ordered a chicken swarma to go and found it was mostly bread and hardly any meat. If you go there make sure they don’t do you wrong like they did me.

MY REVIEW: I love to go to Abdallah's mainly for their great-tasting food, and secondly for the service. The food is cooked really well by the nice lebanese lady and is very appealing and always done well. They have a bakery where they make their own breads and pastries. The service is excellent and quick, the ambience is very relaxed and earthly. I love the place, and the prices are very reasonable. I love lebanese food and this is the best place in Houston for a lazy lunch or relaxed dinner with a friend.

MY REVIEW: THis is a very good place and has good food. The price is very cheap compared to the quantity and quality of food and the people who operate it are friendly. Just make sure you do not go there on a national holliday day because the food might not be as good as the other normal day but other that that the place is so friendly and excellent. GOod luck the good food!

MY REVIEW: This is usually my first stop whenever I arrive into Houston. The food is carefully cooked, handled, prepared and served, and I can't fail to mention that they have the best spinach pies in North America. This is one of the best food experiences you will have.

MY REVIEW: If you have ever wondered who mades that extreamly rich Baklava (Middle eastern pastry), it's probably from Abdallah's Imports. This no frills lebanese deli supplies most of the middle eastern and meditarrain baked goods in town. A wide assortment of authentic dishes are available as well as some very ethnic staples. The atmosphere is as true as it gets. Men playing board games and speaking in a Turkish/ Syrian tounge as well as an assortment of authintic "hooka pipes" are inside.

MY REVIEW: For authentic middle eastern food in a no-frills atmosphere, Abdallah's is it. They are one of the very few lebanese eateries with authentic shawerma (sliced from stacks of meat on a rotisserie, not the pressed stuff.) Service is generally good and prompt (counter.) Try the flatbread with feta cheese -- sublime! Also, their desserts are excellent although typically quite sweet (I am told this is standard for their pastries.)
