MY REVIEW: Generally good food, large selection of dishes, hummus done right, good bread and desserts. Not a huge value if you don't eat a lot, but certainly not overpriced.

On this particular trip, there were several kids shrieking away at ear-splitting volume while their parents blissfully ignored them and (slowly) ate their dinners. But I've been there at times when it was uncrowded and pleasant.

I will be back, but will choose the time carefully...and go armed with industrial-strength earplugs.

MY REVIEW: What a disapointment. We will NOT go back. This truly was our last visit. The food has become average at best, the staff are completely lackluster, and the visit was at best SAD. We were a party of 5 that have eaten here in the past. We all agree on this decision.

The salads were limp and watery, and obviously not fresh.

The chicken kabob was bland and dry, the beef brisket was OK, but somewhat stringy and chewy, NOT tender and falling apart as it should be when properly cooked slowly. The grilled vegetables were burnt, cold, and tough. Victims of being badly cooked and under a heat lamp too long.

There were some high notes, like the Hummus and the eggplant and okra. However, those were no where close to enough to salvage an otherwise awful dinner. Truly sad, because there used to be pride in what they made, now there is nothing but a sad memory of what this restaurant used to be.

Try F*ah*di's! Much better food, no buffet, but worth making the effort.

MY REVIEW: I wasn't impressed, food was not hot..The dry bread pieces tasted stale. Floor was wet and slippery, air conditioner was obviously Turned off overnight. We were there this morning around 11:30. To me it seems the floor should have been cleaned hours before they opened so that it could dry.. The air conditioner Same thing. Won't go back....

MY REVIEW: My wife and I went to the Dimassi's on Kirby. It was our first time eating at any of their restaurants. We loved it. Everything on the buffet was fresh and at the appropriate temperature. We especially liked the fattoush. The chicken was very moist, which at a buffet can be hit or miss. Also, the kofta kabob had a great grilled taste. For dessert, I highly recommend the baklava AND the honey cake. You definitely need to try both. If you've never had Meditterean food, the Dimassi's buffet should be your starting point.

MY REVIEW: I LOVE the food and they don't overcharge For the food like some Mediterranean restaurants that I have frequented. The ambience is good For lunch and family. The specialties are gteat...as long as they prepare lamb, and cauliflower. This is the only cauliflower that I will eat! Since discovering Dimassi's Woodlands location, its the ONLY Mediterranean restaurant that I patronize.

Never have cared much for Mediterranean desserts.

MY REVIEW: A friend from where I used to work and I go here every Tuesday at lunch. As he says, we like it because everything tastes different and so flavorful. They have so many salads and vegetables that a vegan can be very happy. Also they have so many meat dishes that a pure carnivore will be well satisfied. Try it, you'll almost certainly like it.

MY REVIEW: This is a place that when you walk in there dont expect much, the quality of the food is not great but some things are worth going for, the Tabouli is just as good as any other middle eastern restaurants. for lunch 9.99 includes drink you cant beat this. there are no waiters around you serve yourself. again think about it you get what you pay for. There are a lot of salads to choose from, the Bread pudding is wonderful, plus they have fresh fruit. AS a comparison, if you were to go to a all you can eat chinese place this is much better. if you were to compare it to the best middle eastern restaurants in Houston, then you would be disappointed. its all relative.

MY REVIEW: I have been going here for several months and using their $1.00 off coupons or either their 2 for 14.99. On my most recent visit they would not accept it. Said they were under a new owner. Also they had removed Lamb Shank (My favorite) from the lunch menu. Business here always has seemed slow, so this kind of action doen't seem too wise to me. I'm not going back for a long time. What few cutomers they have may dwindle even further.

MY REVIEW: The banner out front says, "Under New Management". It still carries the Dimassi name, so I guess they just found a new management team. The buffet looks like the same items to me (the previous reviewer counted 51 selections). If anything, a couple of foods are even better than before: falafel, maybe because it was recently made, was better than I remembered it; and the penne pasta with meat sauce improved with more garlic.

Vegetable lovers will be in paradise here. And even if you think you don't like Middle Eastern food, I guarantee there's a lot you will enjoy on this buffet.

MY REVIEW: I could eat lunch here every day and never get tired of it. Food is always fresh, the hummus and lamb are sooooo flavorful and good. So many choices you could have a different meal every day. Veggies and salads are fresh and crisp, the place is clean, plenty of seating, etc. I don't have anything negative to say.

MY REVIEW: I absolutely love this place! I was thrilled when they opened a location here in clearlake. There is no other place that you can get food like this, especially in a buffet.

I counted about 51 dishes on there buffet bar. They have different types of Mediterranean Salads, Sauces, HOMMUS is amazing. Then they have there cold salads, Onto the Falafels, Different kinds of Hot vegetables, amazing types of rice, meats, There Grilled Kafta Kabobs and Chicken kabobs are to Die for!!

Also the lamb shanks. THey do keep one secret that you have to ask for.. GYROS! They bring it simmered right off the rotisserie to your table! good stuff

Deserts they have the amazing Balawa and lady fingers

The place could need some more entertainment? They do have a TV that plays arabic music but i think they should put more tv's and more speakers throughout the place.

I also like that there is no Waiter to bother you, you just help yourself to all the drinks, coffee, etc. Cant wait to go back sometime this week

MY REVIEW: I do not know who these other reviewrs are..amy be the owners and management, but there are NO kabobs and NO gyro meat. I do not know what they have been eating. But please go for your self. I could put aside fact that they hardly have a clean table when you want one...you have to stand and flag the busboy over to get a clean table..I was embarrasses last time I brought a newcomer there(he then gives you a dirty look), you have to serve your own drink (glasses and dishware are not so clean), then you grab your own napkins before you sit down which is no big deal, considering the price, but they are the smallest cheapest napkins on the planet.

All of this, could be over looked if the food was still great considering the $10 price, but the food (well let's just say I won't say it in public). It is below a cheap Chinese buffet now.

MY REVIEW: I had been driving by this place for years when it was in the old location. Then B*ombay Brasserie burned down and Dimassi's moved into the space vacated by B*ombay Brass. My first visit was 2 weeks ago, and I have been back 3 times since. I've dined in twice, and got food to to the other 2 times. The food is simply delicious and fresh. It's a vegetarian's paradise, though there is plenty of meat if you want. Your body will love you after the hummus and tabouli! Be sure to try the creamy garlic sauce. It's like a garlic mousse. You won't believe it.

MY REVIEW: This place is EXCELLENT. Extremely fresh, very clean and many, many dishes to choose for a total price of $12.00, which also INCLUDES beverages and desserts. The hummus and various chicken and lamb dishes are very impressive. Salads, appetizers and entrees are prepared perfectly and served with all different kinds of side options. Very nice restaurant inside. We will be going back to this gem.

MY REVIEW: The food here is so fresh and good. Their specialties are vegetables, which I can't get enough of. The chicken kabobs are wonderful with just a hint of lemon and I love the lamb. The fish dishes are the best you will taste anywhere. You will have to start with the lentil soup, which is the best you will ever taste.

You go in and seat and serve yourself. At lunch it is rarely crowded. I have never been to the evening buffett.

The desserts are authentic and the baklava is soooooooooo good you will want more. Have a cup of coffee or hot tea to go with it to finish an excellent and very inexpensive meal.

I could eat there everyday and never get tired of the food.
